The intention behind naming this the Cloud, is in honor of the lands the atmospheric connection to the Sea. The Cloud, is currently in the process of becoming a retreat space and eco village for guests to come experience. While still curating the space, the land is being brought together with a passion for saving trees and their priceless ecological function. The large Spruce trees that cover the land stand with strong branches and are covered with magnificent green needles. These needles collect water vapor from the air, thus offering water droplets onto the ground. This natural process provides a vibrant and lush natural habitat. The Cloud is an intentional space where those on the land are invited to become mindful and connect not only with the land, but with themselves.

The Space Bell is a spacious tent nestled in the coastal forest. This quiet nook located on 40-acres allows guests to comfortably seek out relaxation and stillness. Tucked away among the Salal and Spruce trees, you will find a private nook to connect with nature. Amenities for the Space Bell include a full sized mattress + bedding as well as both indoor lounging area. Heat and electricity provided. Parking available near site. Moonhouse (standard composting outhouse) access. Wash station (hard water). We are pack-in pack-out. Not provided: kitchen, shower, drinking water, waste services. Visiting the Cloud you will witness our work in progress and how your support helps us achieve our vision of land conservation. With that in mind, accommodations are ever-evolving and improving. We appreciate your patience and flexibility as we continue to build and grow. Located in Charleston Oregon, the Cloud is only a five minute drive from Cape Arago State Park where surfing, fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and Scenic viewpoints are available. As well as, only a seven mile drive away from Coos bay, another Coastal town. Where you can find lively events, farmers markets, restaurants, public parks, local shops, and community gatherings.

Space Bell
Sam & his crew are really working hard on the land. The fridge right next to the tent was a surprising element but welcomed for my goodies on my roadtrip. Amenities are simple so come prepared!

In Heaven!
Zen Bell
The Cloud on Seven was the perfect way to kick off our Oregon adventure! It was such a welcoming spot and a wonderful escape from the city. The views were breathtaking, and meeting the owners made the experience even more special—they’ve truly created a little slice of heaven here. The hospitality was impeccable, and every detail showed the care and hard work they’ve put into this place. The outdoor shower was absolutely amazing, and I can’t recommend this stay highly enough to anyone traveling through the area!

We had a great stay in the Space tent! We were welcomed in person and given a lil tour around which was awesome (there is even an aerial silks area!!). The tent had a heater and electricity for charging our phones, and we also had access to a shared refrigerator and an outdoor shower which was amazing in the evening. The only thing is the bed wasn’t very comfortable for me - still would definitely recommend this place though, our hosts were lovely 🥰

We loved our stay in Space Bell! Sam was very friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. 🤗 We arrived later than we anticipated after the sun had gone down, and Sam kindly made sure we found the spot okay and also gave us a great tour of the grounds. We were pleasantly surprised about the spaciousness of the tent and also enjoyed having the heater, the comfortable bed, and cozy furniture. Would definitely recommend and come back again! 🌲⛺️☁️

We enjoyed the night we spent in the tent and the brief friendly interaction we had with Sam after our late check-in. Wish we could have stayed longer to get a full tour of the area. Worth mentioning that there's a small heater inside the tent which comes handy if the weather is cold or rainy (like we experienced).

We absolutely loved staying at the Cloud! The area and yurt we stayed in was soo beautiful with even more commodities than advertised. We didn't really come to socialize too much this trip but the brief interactions we had were lovely and everyone there was so incredibly friendly! I will definitely be coming to visit again and am so looking forward to see how much everythings expanded and learn more about the plans for the community. It's beautiful!

Cool Idea, Comfortable Bed

I want to say the property is beautiful and Sam is very kind. This would be perfect if you are looking to hang out with 7 plus people, kids & you want to talk, share meals and hang out while sleeping in a rad little bus in the center of it all..This is the Place for You. I took the other reviews to base off if it would be the perfect space for a private relaxing rad weekend for my Partners birthday, what I didn't read was it was a living/working commune, A description of the bus or where it was located in regards to all the other people. The Bus was adorable, extremely comfortable bed but what wasn't stated is the bus is right in the middle of the kitchen/play/communal area where people will be 247 cooking, talking, kids playing, hanging out. The bus also does not have blinds, I wish I would have known that, it's wide open and since connected to the kitchen everyone living/staying there can see right in. The site does have a table which was nice, a cute swing but is also on the path to the maintenance dudes tent and the bathroom....plus stated the kitchen, so it's a lot of foot traffic and noise. The bathrooms are compost (a bucket under wood with a toilet seat) No Door...the two toilets we saw while yes covered over roof but no door or no way of knowing if someone is in there, open looking into the woods, no lights which again super cool if you're into that or without people coming and going. Understanding what they are trying to do on the land, tho definitely not All.

We stayed 3 nights in the space ball . It was a perfect size for 3 people .Very roomy with a little touch of home but at the same time have the camping experience:) We highly recommend. Sam was a great host. We will be back

The Bus In The Sky

My husband, Granddaughter and I stayed 3 nights at The Bus In The Sky. We got lost and went the wrong direction on getting there. Sam was very patient with us and help us get there with great communication. First time exploring that area in Oregon and just loved it :) We highly recommend it. We will definitely be back:)

We absolutely loved our relaxing night at Cloud. After a long day of travel we were unsure where we were going to end up camping for the night after our visit Crater Lake. We ended up stumbling across the hidden gem - an environment that felt peaceful with good vibes. Just what we needed! Love the vision of this ecovillage and the host was super nice! Made us feel at home… we would definitely recommend this spot to all of our friends.

Bus in the sky
That campsite is vere special! Sam is such a wonderful person. The time we spent on the site was one of the best nights of our trip. Spending night in the cozy bus house was unforgettable experience. We almost stayed on the camp for good, that is how great it was!!!

Great property with super friendly people and a beautiful view. Will be making this a regular addition to my travel spots down the coast. Easy to find and near little markets and things if you need anything for your trip. Highly recommend.

The bus is a good place to sleep. We enjoyed our stay. There are some solar powered lights but no plugin for charging phone. Sam is a good host answered questions promptly.

This place was not only insanely awesome but exceeded every expectation we had. It was the most comfortable and cool spot I’ve ever camped in. Sam was AMAZING! He was such an inviting host and was so generous with everything. 1000% recommendation staying here…we will definitely be back!!

The place needs to be developed more. You should do a little more diligence before sending people there. The host was very nice though. Also the support was pretty much useless!😑

Fantastic glamping tent - spacious, clean, warm. Inspiring story of Sam's vision for the village in the Cloud. Great company and great conversations over the fire. Could not think of a better host. Friendly dogs. Great kitchen and facilities to use. Will be back :)

Bus in the sky
Sam’s place was amazing. I was just passing through and spent the night on the Bus. Sam was super welcoming and made me feel immediately at home on the property. The Bus was comfortable, a wood burning stove made it a perfectly cozy situation on a chilly, rainy evening. I wish I had been staying longer, but I have every intention of returning just to spend more time on the property. Highly recommend.
