Cedar Hollow

We really enjoyed camping right by the pond. The view was gorgeous! Nice and shaded sites. The hosts were very helpful. It was especially nice to have the firewood bundle waiting at our campsite. We floated on the pond and swim and it was really refreshing.

We really liked the spot we got, it was a bit further from the shower than I thought but nothing crazy and the host walked us around to show us where everything was and was friendly and helpful. If you have a lower sitting car be cautious on the road and which spot you pick because some areas are less developed further from the pond but are really cute and private

Such a great find!! We loved camping here, particularly the south side of the pond spot. Got to take our 3 year old and 6 month old camping with our dog for the first time and it was just perfect. Couldn’t recommend it more

This property is amazing! We really enjoyed our stay and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. There is a shower and a compost toilet. Both were very clean. The pond is very picturesque. Our site was great! My friend and I were in Portland to watch my son's summer league baseball team play the Portland Pickles. Based on our hosts communication with us, we decided to go to the camp site first to set up. If we would not have done this, we would not have found our site. They are working on adding signs and arrows (some are already up), but they need more. When we returned after the game around 12:15 a.m. we still struggled to find our site (even though we took notes and made a video). I recommend this location; just make sure you can get there during daylight!

The site was tucked way back on private property. Two people greeted me and helped me to my camp site. It was primitive ... bit that's what ai wanted. Slept on pine needles not Rick's, surrounded by forest. I couldnt even see my car. I enjoyed the solitude and ruggedness of site. Very friendly and helpful hosts.

Loved tent camping here! There were a few other spots filled with other campers but it still felt private. We had great access to the pond and the water was refreshing and peaceful. Already looking forward to coming back!

10/10 would stay again. Campsites are large with a nice fire ring at each. Offgrid shower and vault toilet were very welcome after a long hot day. We swam in the pond, fished a bit with no luck as temps were in the 90s

Getting to the campsite was an ordeal for us. There was a lack of signs and nobody to greet us upon arrival. I knocked on the door of a trailer that appeared to be the host trailer and circled around several times before getting help from a fellow camper (who'd also had a confusing time getting setup). We chose an empty spot that had apparently already been claimed, adding to the confusion, but that ended up getting sorted out ok. When the host Nick came by and found us, he was super nice and helpful and apologized for the lack of signs and not being there to greet us. He even gave us firewood on the house. (The listing did say firewood was included but maybe that was a mistake.) The place is certainly rustic! The pit toilet doesn't have a door and you need to BYO toilet paper. All said the place is secluded and beautiful, we ended up having a wonderful time once we setup camp. We brought our paddle board and cruising around the pond and swimming was a huge highlight. Now that we know the drill, we would be more prepared on what to expect next time.

the pond is very private and the setup is sweet - there are at least four sites for camping, and a GREAT clean and private outhouse and heated shower ('best outhouse I have ever been to' according to my companion). we drove a 21' RV/van and it was definitely tight driving in with some low hanging branches, but we made it and a very restful evening/night. might be fun for a group of four to rent all the spots and have a big pond camping weekend!

It was nice since there weren’t any other campers around. The host was very nice and showed us around. There was even an outdoor shower and toilet which was cool and not expected. A few spots to choose from around a pond. Lots of trees and nature. Overall fun time!

I loved visiting camp Cedar Hollow! I will definitely recommend it to friends/family. The property was peaceful and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I couldn’t figure out was the outdoor shower (the host gave me verbal instructions but I am challenged when it comes to technology) - it would be nice to have laminated instructions out there for ease of use! Regardless, I’ll definitely come back :)

Fantastic spot! Very quiet, not too many people. We were able to wander around the paths, float in the pond and just relax. Only recommendation I would make is they need to put up signs to help guid folks to the appropriate camp site.

We loved this place! Nestled in the forest it was magical. Nick greeted us on arrival and directions were clear and site was easy to find. The pond was right in front of our site and there were trails to walk. The bathrooms and showers were nearby and clean. We bought extra wood for the firepit and enjoyed sitting by the fire and watching the moon on the water. But my favorite part was the light rain that started in the night and listening to the raindrops on our tent. It was truly a lovely experience and I highly recommend.

Great fire pit area close to the water. Nick was a kind, responsive and friendly host. We had a great time and it was a quiet and peaceful place to relax with the family. Do bring your own toilet paper as the bathroom has an open roof and TP would likely get wet, but manageable otherwise. We will go back when we can.

Camping in the Cedars - Perfection.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! SITE: The site is fantastic, tucked under beautiful old growth cedars and close to the pond. It was so picturesque and i loved how tucked away from everything it felt. FACILITIES: The pit toilet and shower were great, totally obsessed with the milled wood surrounds that give privacy but keep the vibes of the forest area. Fire pit had some perfect log chairs around, and the firewood add on was just right for a nice fire to end the day. HOST/EXPERIENCE: this was the biggest win, Nick met me right away and led me through the property and out to my site which made me feel right at home. I had the opportunity to chat with him a bit the first night and again the next morning, and he is just the kind of host i love to encounter - friendly, kind, warm, funny! & dedicated to providing a great experience for guests. 10/10 would recommend and will be back again to explore the trails and see what they are up to and how the property continues to develop!

newer to the hip camp "thing" , so getting welcomed in new. The compound is tucked away and secluded. Fire pit, bathroom , hot shower (if you are in to those). Lots of little hideway trails and still felt established enough for the little dude. We will definitly be back to this one. Being close is an added touch.

i had an amazing night camping here! the campsite was super private and surrounded by gorgeous cedars but still close enough to paddle board on the pond. both camp hosts were quite friendly and helpful. i would highly recommend this spot! and probably also would recommend a 4wd for this campsite specifically. until next time :)

Decent little place, plenty to burn. Was quiet, well shaded. Bugs weren’t too bad at all. Was nice having the outhouse and option of a hot shower, although we didn’t use the shower, looked pretty nice, was clean.

We absolutely loved it, our dogs had an amazing time getting to explore around the pond, we caught some fish, catch and release outhouse and shower with propane heated water. Finding wood is pretty easy, a little hard to break up but burns well.

Overall it was not what I expected. The area was the 15 acre back lot of a 90 acre farm most of it hillside. There was cattle grazing in the camp area when I arrived. Fresh cow pies all over. The pond was a watering hole for the cows wouldn’t recommend swimming in it. There were moments of quiet then echos of what I believe were gunshots. Then rumbling of chainsaws and machinery. My camp spot was completely exposed thankfully I packed up the night before cause It started raining and I got soaked while clearing my camp. Not much to do in the area. Not the worst experience I’ve had but not something I would really consider camping. Nick the host was nice and accommodating at check in. Didn’t see him after that. Listing said 12 pm check in. I paid for early check in, but ended up getting there at 12 and host wasn’t
