Cedar Bloom was purchased in the spring of 2017 by Spirit Weavers Gathering as a place of peace and healing, for all walks of life. Spirit Weavers is an annual women's gathering which happens once a year each June. We host over 1,200 women in just two weeks on the land. Our beautiful forested land is located in Southern Oregon, in a small town off the 199 Redwood Highway. The land which we call home is 100 acres of beautiful protected forest and sits upon a mile of the Illinois River. We are very fortunate to be surrounded by a widely diverse population of flora and fauna. As caretakers of this sacred land, we feel a strong responsibility to honor our plant and animal allies by not only protecting them and their habitat, but also to help educate others about what lives and grows here by providing people with opportunities to experience the beauty of these plants and animals for themselves. For this reason, We are honored to host the many different groups who will gather here on this land for learning and communing with the nature that flourishes here. We feel very fortunate to be involved in this process of helping promote a sustainable and abundant future for all living things on this planet by sharing knowledge and skills from the human past that can make a sustainable lifestyle a reality for everyone everywhere. This is our home and we are happy to share it with you!

Peaceful Sanctuary

Peaceful sanctuary with everything you could need to find some time away in nature with lovely spa like amenities. Heads up the A frame does get pretty warm with the natural cedar and sunlight!

A lovely slice of heaven.

A very magical place to get some nature time and soak in the river. Get lost amongst the mermaid rocks, watch the horses gallop through the valley and relax. Really lovely place, can’t wait to come back with family.

Special Place

What a special place! We really felt something in the air here. Part of me really wants to protect this place and I sure hope most visitors feel the communal sense of helping out and keeping it clean and sacred. Respect for the land is in everything they do and you can’t help but leave feeling the same. Here are a few things that I had wished were on the website before I visited: The communal kitchen is fully stocked, you rly don’t need to bring anything but your food. (Dishware, pots, utensils, coffee pot, s&p etc) There’s even a large fridge to store things. But please be sure to pack in and out. Bring a trash bag with you to help keep the space clear. The a-frames don’t have electricity. They also have some cracks so make sure you’re ok with a few bugs. Super comfy beds. Things are spread out but not unmanageable. You will need to walk a bit to the bathroom or use the woods for pee. Only the communal shower has a mirror if you need that sort of thing. There’s potable water available. There’s adorable kitties and dogs on the grounds, a lovely way to wake up. Overall we loved our stay and cannot wait to come back!

Moon A-frame cabin

I stayed in the Moon A-frame cabin, which was perfect! The A-frame cabins were staggered, so generally there was enough privacy between them. You can drive up right next to the cabin, making unloading very easy. Inside, it was cozy & so cute! You can tell so much thought went into the design of the cabin, esp with the shelves! I found quite a bit of spider webs under the shelves and inside the cabin, so just a heads up if you're a little scared of bugs like me! But hey, you are in the outdoors, so to be expected! I had a little broom in my car that I used to dust them off. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back!
