Pitch your tent under the star lit sky on a tranquil farm. Almosta Farm is a woman owned family farm located on the ancestral land of the Umatilla, Cayuse and Walla Walla in the Grand Ronde Valley.  We raise Nigerian Dwarf goats and attempt to grow much of our own food.  Make sure and arrive early enough to enjoy the sunset and plan to enjoy the star lit sky on a tranquil farm. Located on the Union County Farm Loop and less than 30 minutes from outdoor recreational activities at Catherine Creek State Park, Moss Springs and Mount Emily Recreational area. A seasonal creek runs through the property. Farm products available for sale and with an advance order baked goods are available. Visit the farm animals, enjoy the wildlife or tour the farm.  Very kid friendly including a fort and swings in the nearby walnut tree's.  Make sure and meet Jack Daniels, the pet pig; Bella the barn cat, and during kidding season (March through May) the baby Nigerian Dwarf Goats.. A composting toilet is available in the barn loft.

Beautiful place to get away. We actually were visiting home state, decided to try their farm. Hosts were very polite and helped us with any needs. Baked bread was a plus, we ate it with our travels on motorcycles. Recommend A+ folks!!

Janet's place was wonderful! In a quiet scenic place, in a fairly private spot on her property. Loved the animals! Jack Daniels the pig is very friendly and loves treats! the goats curious and friendly as well as the cats. The breads we ordered were delivered hot from the oven and tasted delicious. We also got to pick fresh raspberries from her garden for breakfast. Would definitely stay again if we are ever back in the area.

Janet was so welcoming, very kind and thoughtful. The baked biscuits and handmade jam were absolutely delicious. Beautiful scenery and lots of animals to enjoy. I would definitely camp there again without my dogs, next time.

Absolutely, a very special place. Granola is the best I ever had! Little black barn kitty is purrfectly loving and the most curious. Def stay hear again. Especially if I had kids. Cool play structure. And a pet pig and baby goats! Whats not to lovw.

Jan was a great host and greeted us with a beautiful homebaked cinnamon/raisin bread, and introduced us to the farm's animals and the peaceful grounds. It was a quiet and beautiful place to pitch our tent and launch our backpacking trip into Eagle Cap Wilderness. We'll be back!

What a fun camping experience! Lots of farm animals to keep you company, plenty of tent space under tree cover, and amazing biscuits and zuchinni bread for breakfast, if you order. Janet was very helpful! Be careful as you drive to this farm-- so many deer on the roads!

Amazing farm In Cove, Oregon! Janet was very welcoming and showed us around their farm. Great stay for the night on our road trip. We have stayed here multiple times on our roadtrips. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, with the nicest hosts. We loved the views and the sunsets were breathtaking!! The animals were the sweetest, cutest animals and were so fun to watch and pet. They make some delicious food and have awesome teas to purchase. My husband and I give this place a 10 out of 10. 😁

Came in after dark so we couldn't even see how gorgeous the area was til morning. Jan and the animals were absolutely wonderful. Pro tip, do not pass on the biscuits! The smell alone 😍

We had such a lovely stay! Jan was so sweet and we got some of her homemade biscuits, jam, and granola which I highly recommend. Her property is absolutely beautiful and she even brought out one of the baby goats for our son to pet which he loved. We cannot recommend this spot enough.

Fantastic place, people and animals. Traveled from Maine to Oregon and this was our favorite. Beautiful views, comfy bed, nice linens and great cinnamon raisin bread. Take some supplies and butter with you. Can not recommend enough!

The host is a wonderful lady and super sweet! Her banana bread and jelly was delicious. She also gave us a tour of her barn and let us pet her goats. It was a fun time. Just a note that the campsite is her front yard, so it's not super private. There was often people walking past us, kids coming out to play on the yard toys, delivery drivers pulling into the driveway, etc. Great experience as long as you have kids.

I had been trying to decide for over a month where to stay my last night on the road or if I was just going to drive 16 hours in one day. I kept coming back to this one and I am so glad I finally decided to book. Jan was very welcoming and kind. The property is beautiful. I added on the soda bread last minute after reading some reviews, it really is good! My kiddo asked me if we can come back here some day because he loved the animals, the play structure and talking to Jan.

Janet’s biscuits and jam in the morning are the bomb! We had a wonderfully quiet sleep and visiting the animals in the morning was fun! Janet was a great host who greeted us and showed us around, even though we got in late !

This is the most idyllic, heavenly place to camp that you could possibly dream up. I pitched my tent under a gorgeous walnut tree, watched the sun set behind a mountain range, was awoken by chickens clucking, made breakfast while baby deer nibbled grass feet away, was greeted by baby goats while I worked from the picnic table, had fresh biscuits and jelly made by the loveliest and most friendly hosts! Truly this is a dreamy campsite and they are doing very cool things here, would not hesitate to recommend. Stay here and be wow’ed!

The tent spot is gorgeous and very peaceful. Easy directions, Janet was very responsive. If you get some biscuits in the morning you will not be disappointed!! I would definitely camp here again, all the animals make it very fun and interesting!

Jan was very understanding and flexible when my travel dates changed a number of times due to weather, car problems etc. Her family’s farm is lovely and they take care of the land and animals with love and intention. The views are immaculate, the animals are delightful, and I couldn’t recommend staying with them more!
