Great site for both tent and rv camping. We tent camped this time around. Plenty of dry firewood provided on site. The electric hookup had a 30amp to 15amp adapter for electrical needs and running water that tasted quite good too. Tranquility wildlife reserve is directly across the street - easy access. While the site is on a main road, the nights were quiet and traffic minimal. Mint mobile Cell service and still had signal.

Phillip is a wondeful host. Campsite is always clean. Nice seculded space yet close enough to have necessities. Favorite place to camp every year.

Great site with lots of privacy. We enjoyed walking around all the trails on the property. Great setup with level, gravel pad to park on. We did not have to do any leveling. Lots of firewood to use. We enjoyed the little perks of the basketball hoop and axe throwing. We were fortunate enough to be there on a clear night that allowed for perfect stargazing. The surrounding countryside was beautiful adding to the experience. We definitely want to return.

Great spot! Many trails in the area. Fairly secluded. I think there is one other spot but we never saw or heard anyone. Right off the road but there is very little traffic if any. Seasoned firewood included. Looking forward to a return trip.

The entire site had no facility for handling black or gray water disposal. No ports Johns and only one site had power and water. Very primitive property.

Great private site right next to a field - the stars were amazing at night! While it's somewhat close to a road, there was very little traffic during the day and none at night. Host supplied electric, water, and firewood - couldn't ask for much else!

Tranquility Spring was one beautiful piece of property. My family and I camped there over a weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. We walked the trails and saw wildlife. Even had a once in a lifetime encounter with a baby deer. The place was super clean and the fire wood was excellently seasoned, with grill grates for the firerings, we cooked outside all weekend and it was awesome. With all the good I’ve mentioned, the only really complaint I can say is bring bug spray!

Lovely spot that’s tucked away. Extra bonus is the hookups! Backcountry privacy with campground amenities. We would love to come back and stay in the fall when the leaves change.

I echo what others are saying! This is a beautiful and peaceful spot with lots of well-maintained trails to explore! We checked out some trails at The Arc of Appalachia Chalet Nivale and it was beautiful! The ticks are bad in the meadows though so be sure to bring good bug repellent! We drove 35 min to Hillsboro and ate at The Porch which I highly recommend! You can’t beat the price for firewood, water, and electric! Will stay here again!

Great tent camping spot and fun extra activities like throwing axes and basketball hoop for some things to do around camp! Complimentary firewood was awesome too for roasting some sausages!

If solitude is what you’re looking for, this is certainly a good option. Flat parking spot, running water, electrical hookup, fire ring and lots of tree cover.

We stayed for a few days and enjoyed the quiet solitude! The entrance is at the top of a hill, so unlatching the gate left us in the road for a few minutes. As long as you're quick, and / or no cars coming, it's fine. We stayed in site #2, our 26' trailer and 8' truck both fit snuggly, although we may have left some ruts in the grass pulling in and out.

Another great trip. Camp site is great and close to all the public hunting areas around. It’s quiet and you can’t beat the price and location and having water and electric. Just know if you have a longer trailer it’ll be a little tough to get backed in due to the angle of the spot. Will be back next year

The campsite was perfect! Well mowed, nice location, close to Serpent Mound (the reason for our visit). Electricity and water included with the site. Nice hiking trails, plenty of space to explore. There was even an axe throwing setup. Philip, the owner stopped by one day. He was very nice and gave us some additional information about the area, Thank you for a wonderful camping experience!

Great spot! Lots of cool trails and a field next to the spot. Seems like you'll be alone but also not too far away from Peebles. Water and electric was still nice to have while tent camping.

I didn’t actually stay here (plans changed) but Philip was proactive around communication and helpful around the changing plans. I can’t speak to the campground itself but Philip was great.

Campsite was awesome especially for the price. The location was perfect for hunting tranquility wildlife area. Response times were quick to any messages. If you’re in campsite 2 and have a longer trailer (30’ ish) just be aware it’ll be a little tricky to get parked with how the site is oriented. Also the fire ring is on the left side of the campsite and all doors are on the right for campers, so would be nice to move it to other side if possible. But overall great experience will be back next year.

This site is the perfect getaway if you want privacy and peace. Tranquility acres couldn’t be named more appropriately. Everything was mowed and clean as a whistle. We loved the basketball hoop and the soccer hoop and a little hike down to the spring was fantastic if we’re ever in this area, we will definitely come back kudos to Philip, for making it such a Pleasant Place!
