While a "no-frills" park, we uniquely feature an on-site RV service technician, nearby golf and bar & grill, and Walmart/DoorDash delivery directly to your site. Please note that Sites 1-8 are 50-amp only (30-amp adapters are sold for $20), and guests assume full responsibility for their party and property upon reservation. By reserving a site and entering the premises of American RV Park, all guests, visitors, and invitees ("Guests") expressly agree to the terms of this Release of Liability and Indemnification Agreement. 1. Acknowledgment & Assumption of Risk: Guests acknowledge that staying at an RV park involves inherent risks, including but not limited to risks from natural elements, severe North Dakota weather events, trees, wildlife, uneven terrain, campfires, utility connections, power surges, water or sewer service interruptions, and the actions of other guests. Guests voluntarily elect to enter the premises and assume any and all risks of property damage, personal injury, illness, or death. 2. Indemnification: Guests agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless American RV Park from any and all claims, costs, expenses, damages, or attorney fees arising out of or resulting from the Guest's own actions, the actions of their minors/invitees, or their stay at the park. If any portion of this agreement is held invalid under North Dakota law, the remainder of the agreement shall continue in full legal force and effect.

Overall not a bad experience,just wasn't thinking it was in between residential area which some were pretty run down. Site twelve was nice as it faces the open field. Long site with full hookups. Lawn was mowed and area was clean. Jason and Angela very welcoming and friendly. Served our purpose for exploring the area, especially Theodore Roosevelt National Park and Medora . Also close to the Enchanted Highway.

This space was great, though a little hard to find in the dark — glad I went by during the day. If I had known I would be out so late the night of my stay, I probably would’ve found a truck stop to sleep a few hours at instead. Because I caught a sunset and stargazing in the north unit and a sunrise in the south, I was only here for a few hours. I’m hoping I didn’t disturb anyone when I accidentally set my car alarm off in the wee hours. It was great to know I had a place to stay and, especially if you’re in an RV, this is a great spot.

Nice grass lots with full hook ups that were pretty level and very spacious. Gravel roads with easy in and out. Close easy access to I-94 but far enough away to be very peaceful. Extremely nice and accommodating host/manager. So much better than the dirt/dust bowl we were in at Medora. Onsite RV Tech which is a huge plus if you have a problem!

Small RV park that is very quiet and low key. Jason the owner is very friendly and can help if you have an issue with your RV. This is a great place to camp if you’re going to Theodore Roosevelt NP, only 30 minutes away.

Very clean Campground with a beautiful view. The host was very friendly and helped me hook up my camper. Unfortunately really bad weather was rolling in I wouldn't have known if it was not for the host who told me there was 100 mph winds on their way. My family and I quickly left but would love to stay there again for longer!

Easy area to find. Only a 30minute drive to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Easy set up process. No bath house available though or amenities. The spots are dirt/grass. The view is beautiful of the sky. If you need a stop for the night, it works.

Directions were easy to follow. Jason was very friendly and greeted us. Spot was level, grassy and really easy to pull into. We had the entire area to ourselves as there was no one camping near us. View out our door was beautiful. Very pleased with the entire experience!

Jason and Angela, the camp hosts, came by to introduce themselves and see if we needed any assistance. We ended up chatting for quite awhile. Nice people. Loved the campground as it is totally grass which kept the dirt down, a big plus with 2 dogs. It was quiet and close to Dickinson due grocery shopping and close to Teddy Roosevelt National Park. We would stay there again if we're in the area!

Great location. Easy off from the interstate and easy to maneuver in the campground. We’ve traveled several states in the US and some areas of Canada. You’d be hard pressed to find friendlier and more accommodating hosts! This place is a hidden gem and we will be back.

Beautiful campground close to Theodore Roosevelt National Park! This place was absolutely perfect! It was nice and quiet and we had a great view of wide open farmland, our 3 dogs had plenty of space to run (leashed) around. I regret not taking any photos apparently I only took some videos of our pups loving it.

We chose American RV Park due to the amenities offered, reasonable price, and reasonable driving distance to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The RV park was okay - just okay. Although we never met the host, we had no issues with our site or set-up and it was quiet.

The American RV Park in ND is conveniently located just a couple of miles from I-94. It is ideal for travelers visiting the Teddy Roosevelt National Park or just traveling across North Dakota. However, the RV park is unpaved, and we had to drive through large mud pits upon entering. There was water and electricity, but no showers or toilets. One site on the end had a nice view of the wheat field, but the rest were just RVs in a row. It is functional but unappealing.

Nothing fancy but this place checks all the boxes. Easy access to I-94, full functional hookups, level grassy site, quiet neighbors (most appear to be long-term campers), felt safe, and convenient to gas, food, & Dickinson. We received a detailed message concerning our arrival and the camp host met us when we arrived. This was a great place to camp while visiting TRNP.

My original spot was given to a group of three RV’s that were staying a month. I was given the option of any open sites for the night and chose a pull thru. Pretty basic, but the owners (a sweet and friendly young couple) state they are planning improvements. Once a shower house/bathroom, possibly a laundry room, can be added, it would be even better! Pet owners kept dogs leashed, sites were a bit uneven but nothing we couldn’t handle. Quiet time meant quiet time - a bit rowdy/fun initially, but 10pm and everything went quiet. A lot of grasshoppers, but not really an issue. Thank you!!

Quiet and peaceful as long as you don't mind an occasional train which i did not mind at all. Nice little town and plenty of places to walk. There was a 4 mile loop around the large field by the RV spot that my dog and i walked every evening.
