We will be offering various accommodations including, dreamy and immersive villas, themed tent structured, vanlife sites, and primitive camping. We have multiple tent camping sites available. If this site is booked for your date please message us for availability. Wunderland Resort is a 35 acre eco-adventure outdoor resort that backs up to Pisgah National Forest. Just 1 mile from the G5 Old Fort Trailhead, you can bike or hike to the trails from our property. We have a large swimming pond, 8 person sauna, private bathroooms and communal kitchen with commercial refrigerator, griddle and hot plates (including cookware & dishes) just minutes from the camping sites. Also in the community area you will find a beautiful community firepit with free firewood, slack line, hammocks, and the Nest which is our outdoor eating area and event space. All of these amenities are available with your stay. We're just 5 minutes from downtown Old Fort and 10 minutes from Catawba Falls. Wunderland is 'Nature's Playground for Your Soul'.

During your stay you will have access to all of Wunderland Resorts dreamy accommodations! Come and relax in the pond facing sauna followed by a dip in the natural mountain water cold plunge. Enjoy a tranquil walk in the meditation trail surrounded by beautiful rhododendrons then come cook a delicious meal in the nest to enjoy by the fire pit. Each van life spot can accommodate up to a 25ft RV (car campers are totally welcome!) and 20 amp electric service plug. Please note, there is no waste dumping on site.

Want to camp, but not worry about setting up your tent & hauling an air mattress? Well, the bell tent is perfect for you! Tucked into it's own private camping area, the bell tent is awaiting its next guests! The bell tent offers a "yurt style" making it extra roomy inside. Inside you will find a queen bed with bedding and a table with ground seating chair. Guests will have access to all community areas including the bathhouse with full bathrooms & full kitchen, fire pit, outdoor eating area, swimmable pond & 8-person sauna.

The area was lovely. Bathrooms were VERY nice, as well as the community areas. We loved having kitchen/refrigerator access as well as an outdoor kitchen.

Wow, absolutely blown away at the ambiance of this communal camp grounds. The pictures do not do it justice, it’s beautiful with everything so spread out for plenty of privacy. Owners so are so sweet and welcoming. The sauna + cold plunge in the natural spring pool was so unique for a camp stay. Honestly we are probably going to come back next weekend too because the camping/amenities make this so easy. The camping is spread out into a meadow in the back of you like. The bathrooms are clean and so fun, with a surprise jam out music for each unique artist. Bring your own towel/toiletries. Also, Make sure to get the code for the communal kitchen! We were able to cook and keep our beverages cold in the huge commercial fridge. Our favorite part was meeting so many people/families staying there with us, from all over the country and enjoying adventurous stories with like minded outdoorsy folks. The owners are also building more little structures on the property hidden in the trees that we can’t wait to stay in too especially in the winter to cozy up! Make sure to bring headlamps as this place is minimally lit for less light pollution and star gazing. Hiking, mountain biking, fishing just minutes away. Super quiet & peaceful. We go camping in the mountains all the time and this is by far our favorite camping experience. Thanks Jeff & Shawn! - Crystal & Nick.
