Our 475-acre campus features incredible biodiversity and encompasses Dan Payne Mountain. Explore the different coves and microhabitats created by the mountain along the miles of logging road trails that wind through the property. Experience beautiful wildlife and breathtaking vistas from our highest peak.Stay in the original homestead at Wild Harmony Farm and step back to a simpler time. This log cabin has been updated with modern conveniences but retains its rustic charm. It sits in our permaculture food forest, which is an acre of fruit trees and edible landscaping. Our pollinator garden attracts numerous birds, and there are miles of hiking trails on our 475 acre property to explore. The yard is truly a birder’s paradise. The cabin features a queen size bed with memory foam mattress, a sofa, dresser, Roku television, air conditioning, and WiFi internet. It has a fully furnished eat-in kitchen and full bath with shower. The cabin also has a welcoming front porch with rockers. The small yard has boulders around a quartz fire pit so you can relax around a warm fire on cool evenings. While the cabin is approximately 50’ from the owner’s house, the front porch and yard retain a sense of privacy. Wild Harmony Farm may have employees tending the gardens weekdays, usually 9:00 to 5:00, and try to limit any noisier operations in mornings when we have guests.

Food Forest Log Cabin

This is such a special spot! Tucked up in the mountains, it was incredibly peaceful with only owls and crickets calling at night. The cabin was perfect- super clean, excellent craftsmanship, and had everything we needed and more. If you’re a plant geek, there is an incredible diversity of plants in beautifully maintained gardens all around the cabin. Bonus was that we got to hike on the large network of trails up along the ridge and to a great view out across the mountains. Thank you, Chris!
