Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
This farm has been in the Harris family since 1872... Civil War veteran Haywood Harris bought 300 acres from the Bell family for 300 silver dollars; and, began tapping the pine for pitch and turpentine for naval stores and ship building..... From 1899 to 1933 it served as a sawmill site .... The hurricane of 1933 destroyed the steam operated mill ..then... Farming operations began that included tobacco, row cops, orchards, animals, shrimping and logging in the winter ......... now the 5th generation has turned it into a hay farm. The tobacco barn was rescued and remodeled into a cozy cabin using much of the old tobacco sticks and tier poles in the construction. Down on the shore of Clubfoot Creek is a gazebo and dock just right for a lazy day fishing.A remodeled tobacco barn ..turned into a bunk house..

Off leash. supervision of pets is recommended.....squirrels , rabbits, and an occasional deer may come through the yard...please don't let pets sleep on beds
