We loved camping at this horse farm. Dawn was responsive and easy to work with. The drive back to the site can be a little tight but if you take your time you can make it easily. Water and electric worked perfectly. It's a great location in fairly close proximity to Rehoboth and other beaches in the area.

This was a nice stop for us as we headed north back to MD. Nags Head and Kitty Hawk were a close drive. The HipCamp sites were located with bay frontage. This may be obvious for some but not so for me... the # in front of the "Full Hook-up" description is your site #. Wished for better weather!

We enjoyed our three overnights at this camp. It's clean and nicely landscaped. Amazing, the overnight lots are the ones around the water! There is a paved walkway around the water edge, past a well kept pool, to the end where there's a wooden dock/pier. Fishing, catch and release, is allowed and you can keep all the oysters, crabs and shrimp you can catch. Very easy commute to the ocean and Outer Banks.

It wasn’t everything I expected unfortunately. It was a nice place with a pretty view. Clean and well laid out. There were some mixed messages about campfires being allowed - the booking site said off ground fires were allowed. While we were enjoying our Saturday night and cooking dinner on our elevated fire pit, we were approached by the site host who very rudely and brashly told us fires of ANY kind were not allowed. She’ then insinuated that we were lying when we told her what we had booked. There were no signs at the campsite stating such prohibition and there was nothing communicated via email, text or government notices or postings. Regardless of prohibition or not, as with any communication, it’s not so much what was said, but how it was said. Very unprofessional and “trailer parkish” attitude. Offer of a free night or not - I’ll not stay there again. This offer was extended after we showed the actual listing and the booking confirmation which stated what we believed to be the expectations. If a 55+ type of place is your cuppa tea, and you don’t care about a fire pit, you’ll like it there just fine.

Beautiful spot on small lake off the marsh preserve, No camp fires and windy so don't plan on cooking outside. Great place to stay if you want to enjoy the local tourist sites during the day. Clean and very maintained. Host was very friendly and helpful.
