We camped right on the river! So peaceful to sleep next to. Lots of space to choose where to set up camp and the area is beautiful overall.

We had a great weekend at Tatum Quarters! The location was perfect for exploring the Roan Mountain area, and we loved being right on the river. It was such a nice place to relax after hiking, and we spent a lot of time just enjoying the water.
If you're tent camping, I'd just mention that there are only a couple of really ideal tent spots. We arrived after another group, and they had already taken the flattest grassy area, so we ended up in a rockier, less shaded part of the field. It worked fine, but I think this property is especially well suited for vans, rooftop tents, campers, or RVs.
The property is shared with other campers, and there are a couple houses visible nearby, so it isn't a completely secluded or pitch-dark camping experience. That wasn't a dealbreaker for us, just something to know if that's what you're looking for.
Clark was very responsive and easy to communicate with before and during our stay, which made everything simple and stress-free.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The river, the location, and the easy access to some amazing hikes made it a great basecamp for the weekend. We'd definitely come back, especially if we were camping in a van or camper.

Clark was great. The people of Minneapolis are so nice. Good spot to camp, plenty of flat land along the river.

It was outstanding. We camped right on the river next to a waterfall. It also had extra flat spots up above the river. Host had great communication and was extremely friendly. Very quite area. 10 minutes to a grocery store. Would love to come back in the future.
