Getting there was a little tough. Full disclosure, it was dark and very foggy and a little difficult to follow the directions. We looked for the landmarks but did not ever see a rock house and there were a few things that looked like storage buildings. A nice older gentleman (not the host) came out and tried to help but he said to look for posts, which we tried, but it was impossible because of the fog. I tried to message the host but did not receive a response so we just did our best and hopefully parked in an ok spot! We did do an instant same night booking so maybe just caught him on a busy night but it was kind of stressful driving through the field without being able to see and without any "Hipcamp" signage to let us know we were in the correct spot.

Overall it was very pretty and easy to find. There are obviously tent campers who have been using the woods for #2 but not burying it. Pretty gross when dogs find this. Host should be enforcing burial for tent campers.

Overall we had a decent experience. It was worth the price, all things considered. We were confused when we arrived because we didn't see any Hipcamp signs indicating we were in the correct place. We messaged the host but did not get a response. The field we parked in was spacious and had plenty of flat spots. Sky was pretty, but it was not pitch black (some neighboring lights and light pollution). We could hear the highway traffic and dogs barking until the very early morning.

Ir may be perfect for some, but I ended up finding amother place nearby to xamp. It is very bumpy and hilly with only 1 small area level. The grass, or bramble like grass was very long. Maybe due to the host not having time to mow (if they do mow, idk). Huge dump trucks coming through with what I think is hurricane debris. Couldn't tell if some of the campers/vehicles were just parked there for storage or abandoned. 1 barn almost completely fallen down with twisted metal strewn about it.
It felt sketchy to me but I'm a newby to vanlife. The host Dustin was very nice when I asked for a refund and said they are still working on clean up.

Was very quiet and the stars were really bright. Sunrise over the hill was also really gorgeous. Easy access and very close to city amenities. Enjoyed my stay there

This was a good spot to stay for the night. Very quiet and peaceful. Easy to find a spot, setup, and relax all alone. I would choose this spot again next time i pass through the area.

Definitely a great spot that feels tucked away but is easy access to the highway, several wineries and orchards, and Hendersonville. The land itself isn't as private as I thought it was going to be and there some posts that Steven (I'm so sorry if that name is incorrect but I believe he owns all the land and his son/son-in-law also lives on the land along with other family members) preferred us to park next to. It was still amazing though and the freedom we had was appreciated. Our dogs were able to be off leash and romp around and with the way we positioned the camper it felt like we were the only ones there.
They do have several dogs off leash on the property but they were sweet and they mostly stuck around the house. Roxy roamed the field one day but none of the dogs ever approached our camper or the field. We were able to fill up our water tank and getting in and out of the property was easy but
GO SLOW in the field. We barely heard highway noise or the dogs barking but there is some. You almost had to strain your ears to hear it though.
Highly recommend this spot and also recommend the German restaurant, Haus Heidelberg, for dinner!

Great location. Perfect spot to fire up the Starlink and get some work done or read a book under the stars. Dustin is an incredible host and will make sure your stay is satisfactory. Will return.

This was a great, primitive camping spot for the night.
We only needed somewhere to camp for the night, so this was the perfect spot. We decided where we wanted to be in the humungous backyard. The night sky was absolutely beautiful.

Nice and quiet (unless neighbor was mowing). Near the trees there are a few flat spots for small rig. There is a spigot at road side near the shed, better use a water filter. If you have leveling blocks, it is better at far right corner. You can see the fog in the valley rising from distant mountains. and see the sun set behind the rolling meadows.

This was truly paradise- soft breezes, a field of clover, fireflies galore and definitely stargazing! It was wonderful to boondock for a whole week and enjoy the sun, meadows and wildlife! We got to see deer, wild turkeys, and a lot of bird watching- I highly recommend this place as a way to get away from it all!

Dustin's place was great! We ended up booking 2 additional nights. At dusk his hill sparkles like glitter with all the fireflies. I've never seen anything like it! Once on his property the road and subsequent field are bumpy, so plan accordingly. I would stay again!

really nice spot close to the interstate with gorgeous views. we heard road traffic but it wasn’t too loud. not a lot of privacy, but we were only 1 of 2 groups. asked the host a question but never heard back from him.

Stargazing is absolutely true about this spot. Location instructions were clear and once past the house and row of abandoned vehicles it is just a wide open rolling field with plenty of places to tuck in against the trees or in the wide open. We made a small campfire and enjoyed the clear skies and incredible view of the night sky. Very little noise from a road that isn't visible from the site. I would call this site semi-remote, as it is fairly close to downtown Hendersonville. I would also say it is semi-private to private, meaning you can camp within direct sight of the host's home and/or other homes, or be completely out of sight, depending on where you camp on property. Recommend!

Dustin’s place was what we needed, where we needed it! We were able to stay on for a couple of weeks while we waited on parts for our camper hitch. It was spacious and even though close to town, (actually a bonus for us) the crickets song, campfires, and the starry night sky made up for the occasional sounds of the nearby highway. Bring any size rig and your pets; plenty of room to run!! We would stay again.

We had a great time and recommend it. Theres plenty of space and our dogs were able to run around off leash. If you're a light sleeper I'd recommend some ear plugs. There were dogs barking for hours on end. Not the owners fault as the dogs were on a different property.

Dustin’s response was quick, almost immediately! I was car camping and looking for a quick place to just park my vehicle for the evening, so very convenient. His space is quite large and so can easily accommodate tents and RVs if needed. Would recommend!
