Welcome to South Fork Station, a family-friendly riverfront retreat along the beautiful South Fork of the New River in Todd, NC. We offer three unique ways to stay, relax, and enjoy the outdoors. Rabbit Run Camper – Located toward the back of the property, our 26-foot camper offers a comfortable glamping experience with a private outdoor area. Also available on major booking platforms (which is the preferred method of booking). Beaver’s Edge – A rustic riverside camping spot designed for car or van camping. Ideal for self-sufficient travelers seeking a peaceful, back-to-nature experience. Amenities are limited to porta-potty access. Available exclusively through this listing. Bird Alley – A peaceful camping spot suitable for tents or campers. The site includes a fire pit, outdoor seating area, and hammocks, providing a relaxing space to enjoy nature. Important Booking Information: Bird Alley is available only when Rabbit Run Camper is not occupied, with greater availability typically during the winter months. For this reason, all reservations require approval before booking confirmation. River Access and General Store All three sites offer access to the New River, perfect for fishing, wading, exploring, or simply relaxing by the water. Our small general store offers snacks, cold drinks, homemade ice cream, and fishing supplies. During the off-season, the store is open on weekends only. Wi-Fi: Complimentary Wi-Fi is available near the general store but does not extend to Beaver’s Edge. SFS Guest. Re login every 8 hours Property Improvements – Fall 2026 We are excited to be expanding our family-friendly amenities! Construction and installation of our new large commercial playground are currently underway. Guests may notice playground equipment, construction materials, and ongoing improvements in designated areas of the property. We appreciate your understanding as we work to create an even better experience for visiting families. Fall and Winter Family Movie Nights During the fall and winter months, we host family-friendly outdoor movie nights on weekends. Movies take place in a separate area of the property, away from the camping sites, but all camping guests are warmly invited to join us! It's a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a movie under the stars and make special memories by the river. Check out our facebook page for current events. Beavers Edge

Camp at our off-season scenic riverside spot at South Fork Station along the South Fork of the New River, suitable for car camping or a small, self-contained camper (20 feet or less). This site does not accommodate standalone tent camping. Come prepared to park and be self-sufficient. Friendly pets are welcome! Our small general store is open on weekends, offering snacks, drinks, homemade ice cream, and fishing supplies. Free Wi-Fi is available near the general store but does not reach the camping site. Guests must park at the back of the gravel drive and keep the driveway clear at all times for our neighbor’s access. Rigs should be prepared to back all the way into the site. A turnaround area is available for vehicles. A potable water spigot and porta-potty are available. Spigot water may be unavailable in below-freezing conditions, so please bring your own water during cold weather. Paved and gravel areas are not plowed or treated for ice. Please consider winter weather and potential snow or ice when planning your stay. No generators or outdoor fires are permitted. Enjoy the sounds of flowing water, fresh mountain air, and a relaxing place to unwind.

This site is available, but only heat source is ELECTRIC heaters, central heat is not working at this time. Enjoy a relaxing riverfront getaway in our 26-foot camper, comfortably accommodating up to four guests. Located along the scenic South Fork of the New River in Todd, NC, this peaceful retreat is perfect for fishing, tubing, and enjoying the outdoors. The site includes a fire pit, outdoor seating area, and hammocks for guests to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Pets are NOT allowed in the camper.
