If you are in Raleigh and need a great place to stay outside of the lake or fairgrounds, this is a great option, especially if you are wanting to being North Raleigh. Monty is great and it is very dog friendly.

This was perfect for us. Monte was very welcoming and helpful. We had a flat tire on our travel trailer on the way there and wouldn’t be able to get one on a Sunday so he gave us a tire he had on his trailer. We have a 35 foot RV and the spot was number two no problems getting it in or out or hooking up. It was perfect for us because we have three dogs and not many places accommodate our Rottweiler. We really enjoyed letting the dogs run on the property through the field. They were so friendly and we enjoyed their dog Woody too. Thank you for a perfect stay.

Was easy set up and hook up. Not a farm. It’s a working place, hauling in fill dirt. Had other equipment too. Hoist was very nice. Quiet at night.
The host helped me find the location and offered to help me setup our camper on-site.
Best host ever, treated us like family. Site was great , easy access, flat and clean. Don’t miss staying with these great people.

Perfect spot, nice land, right on the highway and great hospitality!
We were so thankful that we found a spot at Red Farm. We had been on the road for 8 hours and really needed to land for the night. Monte was super nice and told us if we ended up coming back his way and the spots were taken, he would find a spot for us. Easy to find and had great services attached for a good price.

Monte is a great host! Accommodating and always pleasant.
We stayed here due to its location within a few miles of our family/friends. Monte is a very friendly host and very welcoming. My husband was working remote through the day and we went to our friends’ home in the evenings. I spent daytime hours exploring the area recreation areas and parks, of which there are many. There is a lot of contracting type activity that goes on around the site during the day but it quiets down at night. We were also there Sunday-Sat and weren’t there over a weekend. If you are looking for seclusion and camping in the woods, this site would not be for you. If you are looking for a jumping off point for exploring the area, work, or visiting family/friends, this site works fine.
Nice people. I would not go back because the road is way too loud, even at night. The lights on his place are very bright and shown directly into our camper ..the shades were pulled but it was still very bright. So between the loud road and bright lights, we barely slept. This was not a private space at all. This place has potential... job at move it all to back of your vast property.

Monte and Tracy (and Woody of course) are wonderful hosts and you don’t leave there without establishing a long term friendship! 50amp, water and sewer hookups were all new and worked perfectly. They held an evening fire down at the wood pile where all the guests are welcome and encouraged to come, have a beer, relax and tell stories! Great nature walks to see beaver dams or other critters of the beautiful surrounding woodlands. Our dog Cali loved the nature walks! We will definitely come back to visit our new friends again!
Convenient location with full hookup. We spent our days with family in Raleigh and our nights at Red Farm. Road noise can be disruptive, but we slept with our AC on and we were not bothered by it at all. We found Red Farm to be a good value and would return if we are in the Raleigh area again

Monte was such a wonderful host! We really enjoyed our stay and he was so friendly and helpful! Thank you for the enjoyable stay!! We really enjoyed riding our bikes through the trails and to the wetlands in the woods. Loved it!!
Monte was great and very kind. Checked in with us often. I was looking forward to being able to sit outside, but did not feel we could do that as this is also a working site. There are big trucks driving by the site multiple times a day kicking up dust and dirt from the gravel lot.
Great full hookup RV location near Raleigh/Wendell, NC. Monty was awesome and very accommodating. Has a great, friendly dog named Woody. Sites are clean, and have full hook-ups, including 50Amp service. A little noise from the road right behind the sites, but it is not a major road, and is very quiet at night. Overall a fabulous location to stay if you are in the Raleigh area!
