We are conveniently located 10 minutes off I-40 in Morganton, NC. Our eight acres currently offer two primitive tent camping sites. We have a lush pine, cedar and sycamore forest, where several 200-year-old beech trees (the oldest in the area) stand. Our land has a running creek and natural springs. We offer Disc Golf, hiking, mountain biking, a multi-use deck and one communal fire pit. There is one portable restroom on the property. Guests are required to bring their own water. There is no potable water on the property. Spot Table Rock (30 miles) and Short-off Mountain (15 miles. See view in photos of the Linville Gorge from Short-off) on the horizon when driving up to the property during the day! We are 10 minutes from Downtown Morganton, 10 minutes from the Catawba River, 45 minutes from Table Rock State Park, 35 minutes from Wilson's Creek, 20 minutes from Lake James, 45 minutes from Asheville, and 30 minutes from the mouth of the Linville Gorge at Lake James. This is a fantastic location between many popular WNC destinations and activities. Tuck away in our woods and explore it all. :)

The Blackberry Patch campsite accommodates one large tent - or two small tents - and plenty of hammock space. The Patch comes equipped with a private fire pit ring and a picnic table. It is a nice hike down to the creek and it is across the path that leads to the community fire pit. The Blackberry Patch campsite is deliciously located beside wild blackberry bushes, so come summertime these campers can pick and eat to their delight!

Pine Times Campsite

Pine Times Campsite accommodates up to two large tents and comes equipped with a private fire pit ring and a picnic table. This site offers plenty of hammock space, and it's a quick trek down to the creek or up to the porter-john. It's an even faster one to the neighboring, larger community fire pit. Pines Times Campsite is conveniently located on the path directly across from the parking lot; making loading and unloading much easier.

Great for a hammock or a tent 8 x 10 ft with a full roof. Shares a great view of the natural forest and features a large fire pit to cook on or just relax with. Great to be undercover for the unpredictable weather in the foothills of North Carolina. Deck with Trex decking for durable and rugged use.

Pine Times Campsite
We loved the area and Tim was very accommodating! We had a late arrival and he left some lights on for us to find our way. It was the perfect place for us to camp for a night on our road trip.

Berry Patch Campsite
We booked this site for a weekend getaway and we very much enjoyed our stay! Even though is very close to town, it was quite and we were able to relax. Very easy to find, instructions were clear, the campsite was cleaned before we arrived. Thanks Tim!

I enjoyed my stay, Tim's instructions to get to the campsite were clear and easy to find, the site is conveniently located near town making it easier to travel to and from if needed. I only stayed one night but I would enjoy coming back again.
