Couldn’t possibly overstate how great this camp site is. Clean and clear space, as well as a beautiful fire pit. Great hosts. There were fun trails to explore, it was very private. 10/10 would recommend

Beautiful site. So close to Charlotte, but feels so far away. Plenty to see and do in this area. Monroe is a great little town to walk around. The supplied cedar firewood had a beautiful aroma. HIGHLY recommend!

We love this spot. Close to Charlotte. Main Street Monroe just a few miles away with great coffee, drinks and food. And the spot is private. Great quick getaway. That’s why we keep coming back!

This was our third trip returning Kelly's. It was relaxing as ever with stars out, the owls calling, and fire burning bright with the wood provided. It made for excellent ambiance and enabled us to enjoy cooking over a campfire among the woods. Keep an eye out for the small frogs who live on the inside edge of the firepit.

Camping at Evergreen Acres was great! I enjoyed the secluded campsite and surrounding nature. There are a couple nearby lakes if you like to fish. It was nice falling asleep to the sound of owls in the trees above. There are lots of great trees right by the campsite for hammocks. The included water and fire pit were much appreciated as well. I felt safe as a solo female camper and easily found the entrance using Kelly's google maps pin.
The only downside for me was the toilet, I didn't end up using it because there were a few bugs in/around it, that being said, this is primitive camping and any toilet at all is a luxury.

Our second time here. It's private and I would say semi-remote, as you are only a few miles from downtown Monroe and only 40 minutes from Charlotte. This trip was in late July and the woods and shade kept the temps down. Actually felt cold at night. A great getaway spot!

This is our favorite hipcamp near Charlotte. Very secluded and surrounded by woods, but a nice little patch of sky above the campsite. We have a Class B camper van (21' long) and it was easy to drive in and out of the site. The hosts are so helpful and provide a fire pit, wood, picnic table, and a camping style potty. Clear and prompt communication as well. The site gets really dark at night and we just heard breeze and nature all night. It was great.

Very secluded spot, beautiful wooded campsite with a nice little patch of sky that makes it more peaceful. I'm glad my wife and I found this place for a retreat from the city by the fire. Also, liked the touches of the picnic tables, water, and portable toilet setup that make it a definite place where we want to return.

Overall amazing scenerie,camp site was great nice and secluded. Host where great and really nice.plenty around the area to do fishing hiking you name it Overall one of the best camp sites of the area 10/10

It was awesome! We had 3 hammocks and a tent and we had plenty of room. We had fun exploring the walking trails and all of the land! I’d definitely go back!
