Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.

On a quiet, country road but only 3.5 miles south of town and a freeway, the lot is grass and gravel with easy entry and exit. It's the parking lot for a gym and church. Campers can park in the front, where it is well-lit at night, or in the rear, directly behind the gym, for more privacy. Several of the neighbors are police and next door is the Providence, NC fire department, so it's very safe. There's a baseball/football field directly behind where you can take pets and a forest behind that with a trail. Quiet and secluded-Convenient locat

Covenant Reformed Baptist Church
Great place to camp if you're looking for a close spot near the Virginia International Raceway, it's about 15 minutes away. This place was available when all the other camp locations were full. Convenient location, quiet and peaceful at night, even heard the sounds of baby coyotes howling in the night.
