Great spot near the stream. Trailhead on site. Coffee shop across the street, not sure the hours, and another down into Rosman. Experienced great hospitality. Warm cabin, even for a cold night!

A great place on the river. The bed was broken and not comfortable at all. It does not have a k cup just a regular coffee pot. Bring coffee filters and not k cups. There is 2 pieces of wood going on to the deck that was rotten and I almost fell through. We only seen one porta potty for about 15 sites.

Rainbow Run Site 1
At The Ridge is a magical little campground tucked into the Pisgah National Forest. We visited at peak fall and the colors were absolutely stunning. A peaceful creek runs through the property, and we spent our evenings by the fire with the sound of water in the background. It felt like a fairytale. The grounds are well-kept, quiet, and beautiful. The hosts were so kind and even helped us park when we arrived after dark. Truly one of the best camping experiences we’ve ever had.

I got this cabin for my birthday and it was the perfect size for me and my friends. It’s in a beautiful spot near the parkway and has tons of hiking/waterfall options nearby. The campfire crackling by the creek was so soothing! Not to mention the stars at night…

Great spot & beautiful site! Right beside the creek so listening to the bubbling water all day & night was incredibly peaceful! Nice hookups conviently located, helpful hosts nearby, someone even placed our firewood under a picnic table while we were away MTB so it stayed dry when it rained… an incredibly simple but huge gesture! Also if you take a walk around the campground you will see ducks and trout. Thank you for having us & we are looking forward to coming back!!!

I want to list the things I liked about this campground first. I love the cute little cabin and the sound of the rushing water outside! I typically stay in a tent but since I was getting there after dark I decided to stay in this cabin. I had firewood but could not find any kindling anywhere close at night not to bother neighbors. So I went to bed early. The showers and toilets were seperate from each other and showers were very small and hard to maneuver getting dressed without getting clothes dirty or wet. I would recommend staying here if just passing through for 1 night. Also had no signal/

Loved sitting by the creek! The property is beautiful! Loved walking to the top of the hill. That was a nice little/short trail. Communicating with Carrie was easy. Tom was out everyday checking on campers needs. Really enjoyed the peace and quiet of this land! Thanks for opening your land to the public! Beautiful! Would stay again if in the area.

Second visit, different cabin. Perfect spot and the cabin is so darn cute! Definitely will be back woth my preschool aged granddaughter. I saw several small children having the best time catching crawdads and fishing in the shallow waters:
Seen several other solo females in cabins as well, probably because the feeling of security nicely coupled with the nature that draws people to the area. Definitely one of my top recommendations for solo females.
And I travel with my lab. The campground is dog friendly, as are cabins. Unlike other places with accommodations, there was no evidence of previous dogs in the cabin, especially not the ‘smell’ that often comes from dogs inside . The cleaning is done well enough to prevent any dog smell or hair from previous pups from hanging around for my visit. Take your well behaved dogs or children, and enjoy this special place.

Riverside Escape Site 2
Beautiful area and wonderful camp hosts!! I thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The road I took in was dirt, bumpy, and up the mountain but 215 was paved and smooth from Brevard. Suggest taking that way in! Carrie and Tom are so kind and great hosts! The river is peaceful and the bathrooms are cleaned daily. Highly recommend this campground!

My sister and I enjoyed our stay. We were close to beautiful waterfalls and to Brevard. Our little cabin was right beside the water. It was a peaceful retreat.

We had a relaxing weekend at Carri's hipcamp. Our RV was parked at the river's edge, and the gurgling of the stream was hypnotic, and we slept great! The amenities were just as advertised. We had a full hookup pull-thru site, which was appreciated for easy parking. Carri's hubby was very friendly and checked on us each day. The camp is only about 6 miles fromn the Blue Ridge Parkway, which would be a spectacular drive during the leaf-season.

Rustic glamping at its finest! Our cabin was super cute and literally right on the river. The bathhouse is a short walk. It's also rustic, but the water is hot and that's all I need! We used the provided chairs to sit on the porch, cooked some steak on the grill, and had a nice campfire, with wood delivered right to our cabin on request. The host couldn't have been nicer. He checked in on us every day, helped us with directions, and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely come back again!

#6 Riverside Camping Cabin
Really enjoyed our stay here! Perfect spot near the Blue Ridge Parkway and such a peaceful setting. The mattress could use an update and the showers, while nice and hot, might not be everyone’s favorite. Only downside was that our firewood disappeared while we were out hiking. I think someone thought we were gone since it was an holiday weekend; however, we booked an extra day to avoid traffic. Overall we’d definitely come back again!

I just have to say that Tom and his wife are AMAZING hosts!!! Very personable and make sure you have everything you need to be cozy. A perfect rustic camping experience by the water. Will definitely be back for the summer.

We camped for 4 days in our pop-up camper on site#6 along the beautiful flowing river. The place is beautiful, the staff is terrific and friendly!! Bathroom is clean and so cute and we can’t wait to go back!! Oh yea, nice rainbow trout!!

I had a wonderful stay! Site #6 is the spot if you love falling asleep to the sound of the river right next to your RV or camper. With full hookups (electric, water, and sewer), it was perfectly convenient while still feeling tucked into nature. Centrally located, peaceful, and beautiful — truly a gem of a campsite!

Nice place by the river. Clean bath house. Big rv spaces. Water pressure was not good, but we survived. Tom was an amazing host.

Only got to stay one night due to having to leave early. Everyone was very polite and our rental was pretty much what I expected. The dogs barking all night long across the street from the campground was disturbing but no fault of the campground. Two things about the campground I will note, the be sagged in the middle (I let Ms. Carrie know since she may not have been aware) and there is very spotty wifi (no cell service). But hey, you are in the mountains. So, if Internet is a must, it will be hot or miss. Overall, I would go back to them again. The stream running by the cabin was nice.
