Wide open, spacious campground in North Carolina adjoining the Pisgah National Forest with twin ponds and 3,500' of frontage along Armstrong Creek, a stocked trout stream. A quiet location with plenty of opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, fishing, swimming, or just sitting back and taking in the stars.
Located just off the Diamondback Motorcycle and Sportscar Touring Route, the park is just a 5-mile drive from the Blue Ridge Parkway and less than 20 minutes from beautiful Lake James. Many quaint towns nearby such as Little Switzerland, Spruce Pine, Marion, and Old Fort. The beautiful cities of Asheville and Boone are both within a 1-hour drive. There are plenty of public and private golf courses nearby and several ski slopes are a short drive up the mountain.
The park offers large RV sites with 20/30/50 amp electrical service and full sewer and water hookups. Several small cabins and cottages are also available.
