Immerse yourself in nature with our rustic camping experience at the Farm Sanctuary. Our “choose-your-own camping site” offers a peaceful retreat just a short stroll from the sanctuary, giving you the perfect blend of tranquility and purpose. -Start your day at the Kitchen at Farm Sanctuary, where you’ll enjoy a delicious, plant-based breakfast made from locally sourced ingredients. -After breakfast, join us for a guided tour of the sanctuary. Meet our beloved animal residents and hear their incredible stories of resilience and healing. You’ll get to see firsthand how your visit helps support their ongoing care and well-being. -Looking to get more involved? Spend some time volunteering with our Environment Team, helping to maintain the natural beauty of the sanctuary grounds or tour assist our Sanctuary guides. Whether it’s tending to the gardens, assisting with eco-friendly projects or supporting the sanctuary guides, your efforts make a lasting impact. -Explore Sugar Hill State Park Just a short distance from the sanctuary, discover the natural beauty of Sugar Hill State Park. Parking available in the visitor parking lot. -No campfires, cooking or food at campsites – enjoy breakfast at the sanctuary kitchen -Pack in, pack out – help us keep the sanctuary pristineRustic campsite, surrounded by nature and located next to Sugar Hill State Forest. 🌿 Please Note: To protect wildlife and ensure a peaceful environment, no fires or food are allowed at the campsite. 🚿 Facilities: Portable restroom and handwashing station near campsite. Full restrooms and showers just down the road at the Visitor Barn. 🚗 Easy Access: Convenient gear drop-off area near the site. Parking available in the visitor lot, next to the Visitor Barn. Mornings to Remember: Each day begins with a delicious vegan breakfast and a guided tour of our sanctuary, where you’ll meet rescued farm animals and hear their incredible stories of resilience. 🍽️ Kitchen at Farm Sanctuary: After your tour and exploring the sanctuary, enjoy a vegan lunch at the cafe. The Kitchen is open Thursday-Sunday, 11a-3p. Sanctuary Shop: Sanctuary shop is open Wednesday - Sunday, 10:30am - 4:30pm.

We loved our tent camping adventure. It was rustic as stated but so peaceful and most importantly right across from Farm Sanctuary!

We loved tent camping at Farm Sanctuary! Plenty of open space, a tree for shade, very clean port-a-potty right there. The showers and bathroom across the road were pristine. I would recommend camping at Farm Sanctuary to everyone!

Vegan Farm Sanctuary Campsite
My visit to Farm Sanctuary was incredible! The campsite was the perfect distance tucked back into the woods that I felt like I was camping in a state park, but it was just a quick walk over to the main visitor barn with showers, tours, and the animals! There were lots of critters in the woods, which if you are coming to stay at farm sanctuary, you will most likely enjoy connecting with animals in some way! The staff were all so lovely and helpful. Light breakfast was provided as well as a wonderful morning tour. Could honestly not have asked for a better experience.

Vegan Farm Sanctuary Campsite
I had the chance to stay in the camping area of Farm Sanctuary over the July 4th weekend. I had been meaning to visit the Sanctuary for a while and learning they were having a "Pignic" where the resident pigs were served watermelon was the prompt I needed to schedule a visit. I had the best time visiting this beautiful and special place. The staff couldn't be nicer and it was lovely pitching my tent and knowing I was just a very short walk to "my doorstep". The facilities are lovely and super quiet and they provide you with a nice breakfast for the morning. And being able to visit with the resident animals is the icing on the cake. It also feels incredible to know that the fee that is charged is going to support the mission and operations of this wonderful organization that gives animals the peaceful and safe lives they deserve. It's also lovely that it's so close to Watkins Glen and the Finger Lakes, which have a ton to see and do. I would absolutely return in a heartbeat!

Vegan Farm Sanctuary Campsite
We loved camping here at Farm Sanctuary! Beautiful clearing to pitch a tent, or the option to camp in the wooded area as well. Very quiet and comfortable location, and the portable toilet was very clean, with a handwashing station as well. Showers available at the visitor barn at Farm Sanctuary, and breakfast was provided. Staff was very kind and friendly! Highly recommend the B&B tour of Farm Sanctuary each morning.
