Camp Tree Top is named after the beautiful views from the Trees at the top of our hill in Brookfield NY. We are located about 2 miles from 130 miles of hiking, biking and horseback riding trails in the beautiful NYS Brookfield trail system. Hamilton (home of Colgate University) is an easy 6 mile drive.This rural family camp is surrounded by 5.5 acres of wooded land. Camp is just a short drive to 130 of acres of hiking, biking and horseback riding trails located in the Brookfield Trail System.
Parking is at the main cabin. We have areas to accommodate transit vans and smaller campers in addition to your car. Sewer & amp; water hook up is NOT available.
Cabin has fully functioning kitchen with gas range, electric refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster and coffee pot. There is no running water on site, however, we have a water bubbler available for drinking and cooking purposes.
Seasoned split firewood with beautiful fire ring & outdoor chairs are included at no extra cost. Of course, if you would prefer the full outdoor experience, there is plenty of wood for you to cut and split yourself.
We allow 1 reservation per night so you will have the whole 5.5 acres to yourself! There is plenty of land for tents and/or campers to be set up for additional sleeping guests.
Children can enjoy the swing set while you cook over a wood fire or gas grill.
Outhouse is available May 1st through Oct 31st. Outhouse has a portable bucket/bag toilet. There is a portable bag shower on site to be used as well. Hot water is available from the bubbler or you can heat it up with the sun. We are 25 minutes to Utica NY, 10 minutes to Hamilton NY. Linens are not provided, however, special requests for them can be accommodated.
