We had a great time camping on Alix's land! The kids had fun on the tree swing, picking apples, and just playing in the dirt. We had a nice time telling stories around the beach campfire.
The breakfast burritos and banana bread were so delicious!
Alix was very welcoming and gave great suggestions for activities to do nearby.
Our family and friends made great memories this past weekend!

Alix is amazing! The campsite is phenomenal! If you get the chance to book this place, do it. Even though the Pecos River was muddy and running high we were able to truly enjoy the area. Corn hole on the trail, mud pies with the granddaughter, s’mores in the firepit. Thank you Alix! We will be back!

Our camping trip was amazing! Being able to hang out by the river each day was great and the hammock swing was a hit with the kids! The breakfast burritos with the Gypsy Fire Salsa we’re fantastic! Thank you Alix for making our trip so special , we will definitely be back!

This was my second time coming to Alix’s site. It was even better than last year! She is a wonderful, warm, and considerate host. Her property is spectacular. Beautiful views and right next to the Pecos river. My wife and I loved our time camping there and will definitely be back.

My family and friends all LOVED this campsite, land and host. I wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleased in every way. Gypsy Fire Valley is such a nice blend of private camping with the amount of amenities you desire.
On Alix's property, you enter to find her home with the clubhouse attached. The clubhouse is a large room with a bathroom, sitting area, and kitchen. Kitchen has continental breakfast and basic amenities provided with a hotplate, microwave and toaster over. There's also burritos and more snacks and amenities that you can purchase.
A short walk away from the clubhouse is a large field and then the private camping area. You have the whole place to yourself with multiple tent spots to choose from. Past the field is a winding trail through the forest leading to the river.
Alix was an amazing host, making us feel right at home, being available when needed, but giving us privacy at all other times. She had a "magic wand" (painted broken tent poles) to give to the kids and made the stay feel special. It was so nice to have a private campground with a host and comfort amenities when needed.
We all will absolutely return and highly recommend Gypsy Fire Valley!

Alix was such a great communicator. She answered all my questions quickly. She was there to greet us and show us her beautiful place. Gorgeous field with access to the Pecos River.
We appreciated the amenities and the big shade tress.
The breakfast burritos were excellent. The chile was a perfect heat and we are all locals.
Alix was very welcoming and available if we needed anything.
Perfect place to spend my birthday with a group of friends.

The property was beautiful, and with just an hour and haft of a drive from ABQ. It was a great weekend getaway. The owner was amazing! and so helpful to our needs. She also sets up a bunch of amenities around the property! With access to the river and a private beach it was definitely a place that me and my friends will continue to come back to.

We had an awesome time here, Alex is such a wonderful host. We felt truly welcome the moment we stepped out of the vehicle. She has created an amazing atmosphere here, the energy from the land itself is palpable, especially by the river. I loved the meditation hut, it's a great spot for yoga mats and singing bowls, or to just enjoy the shade for a bit. I highly recommend the breakfast burritos, the sauce she makes is just OMG yummy. If you are looking for somewhere to recharge and relax this is the spot. We couldn't have ask for a better trip and can't wait to go back.

We had SO much fun! We stayed for 4 nights. Alix was nothing but accommodating the entire time. She cooked the best breakfast burrito I think I’ve ever eaten, she had snacks and a Keurig for coffee/tea already neatly set out. The clubhouse was absolutely stunning. She has an original painting of a beautiful mountain range right as you walk in. I couldn’t stop staring at it! We camped right on the beach next to the river. The daytime was pretty hot on the beach so we moved to the field during the day for horse shoes, disc gold, and corn hole. All provided by Alix of course. The campfire was kept strong by the wood provided by Alix too! I can not put in to words how much fun my family had during the weekend. Alix was the best host we could as for. We will be back again and again and again!

Incredible spot right on the pecos surrounded by trees and mountains. Very relaxing stay spent most of the time floating in the river. Will definitely be back and recommend to others. Alix was a great host!

What a magical experience we had at Gypsy Valley! It went beyond our expectations. Alix welcomed is warmly and showed us around. There are a few spots set up that we had all to ourselves but we naturally chose the one right by the Pecos river. Falling asleep to the sound of the river and nature was pure Bliss. Dan fished while I read and meditated and it felt so rejuvenating. The water was surprisingly ok temperature wise and we dipped in after a hike in Villanueva. The club house has essentials you can buy as well as games and Alix made delicious breakfast burritos. When we left, she have us some of her produce too. We can not wait to go back, it was incredible!

Our group of 7 families and 5 dogs had a great time camping here. Alix is a wonderful host and the game room, indoor bathroom, and option of breakfast burritos was a great plus. The river space is beautiful, and we enjoyed soaking in it.

This campground was wonderful from the very moment we arrived. Alix, the camp host was incredibly hospitable and made us feel right at home.
This location is a little piece of heaven. It is right along the river and made the whole stay very peaceful. I would rate Gypsy Fire Valley a 10/10.

Alix is an amazing host on a truly enchanted land. She is available and respectful. The land feels sacred on the beautiful setting of the Pecos River. Bring water and a solar shower if you need to shower. The description and pics were accurate. My son is convinced we had an encounter with a Sasquatch. May you be so blessed too. :) Thank you, Alix.

Gypsy Fire Valley is a gorgeous gem of green and clean vibrant land right along the Pecos River. I actually joined Hipcamp initially to find beautiful and private spots near water. At Gypsy Fire Valley I camped literally a few feet from the running water lulling me in my sleep. I enjoyed my camp so much! I built a fire in the deep fire pit, walked along the mowed green grass and ate my meals under the cool shade at the picnic table under the tree. Alix is a joy to meet and it is clear she takes care of her spot of heaven on Earth. Enjoy!

Alix’s campsite is amazing! I will definitely be coming back. The setting is beautiful. We loved drinking our coffee by the Pecos River. When things got too hot, we retreated back to the wooded area by our tents. This area remained cool all day. She is a lovely host. So friendly, warm, and personable. She has lots of additional amenities that are also fantastic touches. I highly recommend this campsite!

This is a magical place with just the right amount of everything you want and need to get away from things. Lots of lush, green vistas, giant cottonwoods providing the perfect amount of shade, a very happy river, and a most delightful host make this a really wonderful getaway. It was way more than expected, which was a lot!
We will be back to this place again and again. Don't hesitate to book it and see for yourself.

Alix was wonderful! The location were great - beautiful setting, private and secluded. Alix went out of her way to make sure we had an excellent stay. We used tubes to float in the creek. Highly recommend. The TeePee Tent (restroom) was exceptionally clean. The breakfast burritos were amazing!! You won’t regret using Alix’s site!!

Oh this place is MAGICAL. Alix is the perfect host —- she shows you all the beautiful things and then let’s you be on your own to enjoy the land. When I say magical think kids running in the big meadow, a pathway to the river — a river you can float in on an inner tube, solar lights along the path at night, and mountains all around. So quiet. So peaceful. So much fun. Also do not say no to the breakfast burritos on Sunday morning —- they are so delicious.

Alix was such a welcoming host and her property was magical. Beautiful views, great energy and being so close to the river was a treat. Alix went above and beyond to make our stay feel welcoming with clean firepits, a place to use the restroom, places to sit and even a hammock. A slice of paradise. Where else can you get the sounds of the Pecos River, the vibrant stars at night, all while sitting next to a camp fire. Perfect to cool off, take a dip in the river or sun bath on the river beach. Private enough to unwind. Great spot for a large family looking to kick back. The tent spaces were cleared, fire pits clean, and even pop up chairs and benches to make for a relaxing low-stress trip. Greeted by a friendly a host who made our stay even more enjoyable.
