My wife, two dogs and I had a blast at Dorothy’s property. They aren’t joking when they say you need clearance in the vehicle to get to the site. This made the journey in so much fun in the truck! Very secluded and her husband was very helpful by showing me around to some spots to hike and walk the dogs.

We keep coming back to wild card year after year for our group trips. There is no better place in the area, that is unique like wild card that's right off a class 6 road, has a great space for a good size group of friends, perfect location that is near enough to supplies, but far enough that you are deep into the woods for a true dispersed experience. We'll be back again soon enough!

It’s a pretty remote but beautiful camping spot. Do remember that the road requires a vehicle with high enough clearance though.

Nice guided ride to our camp spot, easily accessed in our Subaru Outback. Plenty of privacy in a clean open area with fire pit with grates. Our two pups loved it! Had some wildlife visitors including a bear stroll by the edge of the trails near camp to keep things fun! Phone signal with Verizon. Great spot!

We continuously return to the Wild Card Farm as it's the perfect location for our group trips. There is tons of space and the host is amazing at making sure that we are well taken care of when we arrive and all throughout our stay. Highly recommend.

The hosts were super nice and fast in replying to any questions I had. The road to the campsite definitely requires a vehicle with ground clearance, otherwise it’s a 15-20min hike. Dorothy brought us plenty of firewood and we also saw some improvements on the road the next day. Definitely seems like the hosts are hard at work making our stay better. Nice remote campsite surrounded by trees and a nice view of the stars at night. Will book again!

Friendly hosts and a great spot for off grid camping! My girlfriend and I had a really relaxing time the one night we were here, listening to the owls and gazing at all the stars. As others have said, the trail to the property is pretty rocky so make sure you are in a vehicle with high ground clearance. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing time at the Wild Card Farm! D + R, the land owners, could not have been more kind, and our expectations were wildly exceeded! Jeeping into the secluded camp site was a blast and it added to experience of being truly off the grid.
Our site was large, and not buggy at all with the exception of dragonflies (who keep the skeeters at bay!). There was way too much to explore, and we definitely plan on going back for another stay.
D/R: Thanks again for this opportunity and for the hospitality - we left with a renewed sense of self, connectedness, and a much needed detox from the mainstream. We'll be back!

My husband and I really enjoyed camping on Dorothy’s land. We were in search of place that had no noise, away from the hustle and bustle of life. The campsite on Dorothy’s land fit the bill perfectly. We felt like we were in the middle of a remote wilderness, but it was only a few miles to town. It was so quiet at our site, all we heard was an acorn or two dropping from the trees - the silence immediately had an effect on our stress levels and we were able to truly relax. The view of the night sky was amazing, we saw the Milky Way and what seemed like millions of twinkling stars. We saw no other campers, our site was completely private. The road to our campsite was easily handled by our Subaru Outback. Dorothy and her husband were the perfect hosts, they left us alone, but let us know that they were a text away if we needed anything. We purchased firewood from Dorothy for 20.00. We burned the fire constantly and still could use up the generous supply of wood. Well worth the 20.00. I highly recommend Wild Card Farm, go there and find your peace and quiet.

We had an excellent stay at Dorothy's property. The site was perfect! It was quiet, private, and afforded a great view of the stars at night. As stated in the listing the road to the site does require a vehicle with some decent ground clearance fortunately our vehicle had no issues. Dorothy and her family were very kind and helpful and super easy to communicate with. Definitely would recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful getaway off the grid!

Happy to say secluded is an understatement! What a trip this was and definitely great for off grid enthusiasts. Make sure you bring plenty of water and bug spray. Be prepared to see every star in the night sky and be immersed. You will need an all terrain vehicle. The road to the camp site is technically more of a hiking trail. SO fun to drive if you have the right vehicle. Dorothy and Russell were great and gave good directions.

The location was secluded and open. It was the perfect spot for camping! Dorothy guided us to the exact spot and was very accommodating. She gave great directions and even texted us to alert us of fireworks that night in case our dog gets scared. Our location was great, but I advise you avoid the taller grassy areas in order to avoid ticks. I would definitely stay again!

I spent the night on Dorothy's land in my 4Runner - what a great time! It was a very quiet and peaceful spot. The class 6 road was a blast driving down, and I had a nice night by the fire. Great hosts! I will definitely be going back soon.

My wife, myself, and our two dogs stayed 2 nights at Wild Card Farm. We drove up from Boston and in under 2 hours we were setting up camp on Dorothy’s beautiful property. Her husband greeted us and showed us our campsite. Our dogs loved the guy! He gave us some tips and tricks on using different types of branches to start a campfire. He went out of this way to bring us additional water and a dozen fresh eggs. We felt very at home at the farm. The property is beautiful and very private. During one of our days we hiked to Bear Pond along the trails in the area. The pond water is so clear and the views were amazing. We definitely will be back with our two dogs in the fall to experience the foliage changing.

Our stay was amazing! Very secluded. She brought us firewood for $15 a night. Lead our vehicles to the campsite and helped us move our belongings and brought some people over who’s vehicles wouldn’t be able to make it. Fairly large camp area. Plenty of room for the 4 tents we had. However it still felt like we were secluded in the wilderness. 10/10!!
