Moose-Track Meadow & Island Outpost Welcome to Moose-Track Meadow, a 20-acre Veteran-owned seasonal retreat in Swanzey, NH. Much of the property is a thriving wetland ecosystem that offers a "Wetland Symphony" of spring peepers and incredible stargazing. We offer a mix of rugged adventure and easy-access convenience. The Campsites 1. The Back-Acres (Secluded Hike-In): Cross our small footbridge to reach elevated "islands" of dry ground. These sites are tucked away for deep privacy near a natural game trail—perfect for wildlife photography and birdwatching. 2. Creek-Side & Meadow Edge (Car Camping): Ideal for those who want to park and pitch. Located along the field’s edge and the creek, offering the sound of water with the convenience of your vehicle nearby. 3. RV Outpost (Pull-Thru): Stress-free pull-thru sites. Choose "The Wooded Nook" for a shaded, private spot in the treeline, or "The High Meadow" for wide-open views of the night sky. Amenities & Services We provide "Basecamp Services" to keep your trip running smoothly: Utilities: Limited Water & Electric (additional fee). Propane: Exchange available with 24-hour notice. Fire: Pits provided; firewood available for purchase. Maintenance: On-site air station for tires. The Area Located off Rt 32, we are minutes from world-class hiking and biking. The property is a haven for nature lovers. Gear Tip: We recommend waterproof boots for exploring the back acres and wetland trails. Rules Quiet Hours: 10 PM – 7 AM. Wildlife: Secure all food/trash to respect the game trail.
