Spent the night with a friend. Arrived at night so a little bit challenging to find the spot but Billy was extremely responsive and very helpful on getting to the campsite. Great location and very private with a nice pond/stream right next to where you’re camping. Will definitely book again in the future.

Such a lovely spot to wake up in! It’s quiet and there is a stunning view of the mountains. The coordinates brought us to the wrong spot, but Billy was super responsive and accommodating. I would totally recommend this spot to anyone visiting the area!

I booked same-day, just a few hours before arriving, and Billy was incredibly accommodating. He even made sure I got to the site okay while he was at work. The property is beautiful, the trails are great for walking, and the campsite was perfect.
It was my first solo camping trip in a while, and Billy was so thoughtful. He made sure I felt comfortable and safe, and he even offered to let me stay past checkout since no one else was arriving that day. His two pups are sweet and adorable, too!
The fall foliage up there right now is stunning, so this is a great time of year to go!!

Billy's land was wonderful!! We loved how secluded the site was, and the view of the Beaver Pond in the morning and evenings.
The fire pit area was so cool, and we loved that he provided clean, dry wood!
Billy himself was a great host; responsive and friendly and so so welcoming. Any questions were answered quickly and precisely.

Perfect Quiet Campsite

Billy’s Beaver Pond site was the perfect quiet stay for a weekend away. The site felt secluded while still having plenty to do within a short driving distance. The campsite itself was clean and flat with plenty of seating around the campfire and picnic table. The beautiful view of the pond paired with the sounds of nature made for an incredibly relaxing weekend. Would strongly recommend this site to anybody looking to unplug for a few nights. Come prepared with water and a camp toilet and you’ll find that the site provides all the comfort you’ll need!

We tent camped at Beaver pond campsite with our 3 dogs! Drive right into camp in a vehicle that can handle big hills and bumps. Private campsite, plenty of fire wood. Nice picnic table and log benches. Had a nice view of beaver pond!

100% recommend this site. Fully secluded, and peaceful. As others and description have said very steep entrance, so awd recommend. Lots of space for tents and/or car camping. Gets chilly on morning even during summer, so bring a sweater. Billy was very friendly too! Would definitely come back and bring friends over next time.

This is my style of camping!! If you’re looking for the real camping experience that includes total privacy in a beautiful spot overlooking a natural wilderness pond with nobody around to bother you this is it. The host was easy to communicate with and left us stocked with plenty of firewood! Couldn’t ask for anything better. We’ll be booking again for sure.

Me four friends and our pup went to this site for a couple days and to say it was perfect as an understatement. Our site was perfectly tucked away right next to this beautiful small pond beneath the pine trees. It was deep enough in the woods to feel super secluded, but close enough to town to make it super convenient if you need anything. The driveway up to the campsite it’s definitely very steep but if you’ve got four-wheel-drive, you can make it up no problem.! beautiful view at the top as well. There’s plenty of room to put a couple tents! The only thing you can hear from out there is a lot of birds and one friendly owl that hoots every night! knowle‘s pond is just 1 mile away and the water there is beautiful for swimming or boating. We met the owner Billy and talked to him for a bit, he is super cool dude and I would 100% come here again. P.S we stopped at Dipsy doodle dairy bar for icecream jist 12 minutes away. highly recommend making a pitstop there if you camp here! we’ll be back!

I really enjoyed camping on Billy’s property. The Mountain View site is aptly named — it offers beautiful mountain views with stunning sunsets and sunrises.
The site has nice pull-offs that make car camping easy, along with plenty of space to pitch a tent. If you enjoy hammocking, there are several great spots for that as well.
Billy is a fantastic host — responsive, accommodating, and genuinely friendly. I would definitely recommend booking with him and enjoying his beautiful property.

2nd time at this site and 3rd time on Billy's land. Great secluded spot with enough space to let my dog off leash. Expect early season ticks and black flies in May/June but wasnt an issue during my previous two stay mid and later season. Really close to Highland for mountain biking. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay in Billy's camper last weekend when we were in the area to bike at Highland. We enjoyed it so much we're going back next week! His property is private with beautiful Mountain View's and the camper was spotless with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. He was an amazing host, even dropping off wood so we could make a fire in the evening. It felt more like a relaxing getaway than staying in a hotel like we usually do, and the camper had plenty of space for several adults to stay comfortably. He isn't kidding that you need four wheel drive to get up the steep driveway - but the views are worth it!

Camper Camping near Tilton
Billy is a great host! He's bought a beautiful plot of land and is developing it himself, and in the mean time has created a few sites for folks of the hipcamp persuasion. We stayed in the camper, it was super comfortable, and Billy was very responsive and helpful to make sure we had a great stay. I'd highly recommend. Only note would be that when you enter the property, it kind of looks like you're driving into a construction site, Billy's driveway goes straight up hill and the address marker is a small plaque on the road. You're in the right place, and if you have trouble finding it just give Billy a call. 10 min from Tilton, Tilt'N Diner is right there, plus a walgreens and anything else you may need. Great spot, we'll be back for sure!

This is a nice quiet secluded spot. Not having to bring our own wood was a really nice. Billy's is having enough logged going on that I doubt he'll ever run out. You definitely need to have four wheel drive to getup the driveway and through the freshly logged area to get to the campsite. My VW barely made it 100 yard in the driveway, before having to turn back. I think we would more than happy to return to this camp site again.

An amazing remote site that was very private and tranquil. Billy was so accommodating and provided more than enough wood to keep the fire going! Site was so neat and clean! Brought my dogs and they were so happy to run and play around the site and be dogs! Beautiful property, definitely will go again!!!

An Amazing Weekend Getaway!

We had an absolutely wonderful weekend staying in Billy's camper! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. The camper was spotlessly clean, incredibly cozy, and comfortable.
Billy is an exceptional host - kind, accommodating, and genuinely attentive to our needs. This was our first camper experience, Billy took the time to welcome us personally and give us a thorough tour of all the amenities. His hospitality truly made our stay memorable.
We were searching for the perfect weekend escape that offered both seclusion and stunning natural beauty, and this location delivered exactly that. The views were breathtaking, and the peaceful setting was just what we needed to unwind.
Our dog absolutely loved the stay, especially getting to hang out with Billy's friendly furry co-hosts, Pumpkin and Ranger! It was heartwarming to see them all become fast friends.
The camper itself exceeded our expectations, offering every comfort we could want: a wonderfully warm space on cool nights, a comfortable bed, a cozy fireplace with reclining seats, and a hot shower. Billy checked in with us daily, ensuring we had everything we needed, and was always just minutes away if we required anything.
He provided excellent recommendations for nearby trails and hikes that really enhanced our outdoor adventure.
We honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a perfect blend of comfort and nature!
