4th summer season with our newly built remote and rustic cabin on Half Moon Pond, located in the foothills of Mt Cardigan. Available starting June 26th 2026. 4WD recommended, higher clearance car mandatory. Must be 25yo to rent Much care has been taken by the owners to create a Bio-friendly environment, with as little impact to the land as possible. The cabin has a gravity fed outgoing grey water system. All biodegradable soaps/shampoo are provided for you. The cabin is constructed with locally sourced wood, harvested and milled by the builder. The Owners have used repurposed materials when available, to complete the build. The breakfast bar is constructed with live edge hemlock from Williams hill and topped with a slab of native granite, Open concept kitchen/living room. Fully equipped kitchen with full sized refrigerator, 2 burner cook top, 4 way microwave, convection, air fryer. Bathroom sink and new composting toilet. Outdoor pine and cedar enclosed hot shower *** Non potable hot and cold water. Guests need to bring their drinking water. *** please note, for any guest staying over 2 nights, the owners need access inside the cabin for toilet maintenance, we will also collect your trash/recycling and refresh towels on request. TV and DVD. Large lending library available by owner. Broadband fiber optic for streaming!!! Second floor bedroom with 1 queen and 1 double bed with privacy knee wall. Double futon on first. Screened in porch with dining, surrounded by nature. Separate screened in platform for a third dining option. All bedding, blankets, pillows and towels are provided. Just bring your beach towels. Access to your own large dock with 2 kayaks. Swim, paddle, hike and wildlife viewing from the privacy of your own cabin. Steep drop offs and uneven terrain, make this ONLY appropriate for children over 4 yrs old and Seniors please take caution, 50 steps to water. Reliable cell service and wifi using your data and now Broadband Fabulous, serene retreat for writers, artists, fishermen or ladies w/e! Exercise class, yoga and guided kayak and Mine tours (off site) available for added fees. Walk the many brooks, small streams and 10-foot waterfall. All accessible from the pond. Attached outdoor enclosed hot water shower with cedar planking. The owners have taken care to appoint this cabin with locally sourced lumber. The breakfast bar is constructed with live edge hemlock from Williams Hill in Grafton and topped with a locally sourced granite slab. Rich mining history with abandoned mines. 40 minutes to historic Hanover NH. 5 mile drive to Grafton Pond, noted as the best kayaking destination in NH. Hike the roads and explore the many brooks and streams, even a 10 foot waterfall, all accessible from the pond and your cabin. Roads are unpaved, higher clearance car necessary. 4 WD recommended. Enjoy the peace, this is generally a quiet retreat, especially during the week. If you are looking for nightlife, this is not the rental for you. Closest large grocery store is 40 min away. Steep drop-offs and uneven surfaces make this rental NOT appropriate for anyone under 4 yrs old. Full features, details and amenities on your PC or tablet. Two night minimum.

Lovely Secluded cabin
Crescent Moon Cabin.
Nice remote secluded cabin sitting above a lake - the road to cabin is a 1 lane very steep hilly 'road' in some areas aka snowmobile trail.  Make sure you bought all the groceries you need at Market Basket when you get off main highway (93) as there aren't ammenities close to cabin (get icecream for freezer!). There is quite a number of stairs to climb down to the lake so be prepared for the return trip up. Having the screened in porch and screened in gazebo was key for relaxing, eating and playing games bug free. Fire ban prevented camp fires in the designated fire pit, but great area with wood supplied. The 4 in one microwave/frier/oven was helpful. Mr Coffee maker essential. Mugs and glasses, cutlery provided. Glad we brought a 5 gallon jug of potable water with pump for our 5 days/4 nights. The BBQ was well used, we brought our own cast iron pan which make cooking faster on grill for brunch. Toaster in cabin. Weather cooled off for us, so we weren't swimming in lake as planned and we had to turn on the propane heater at night. The outdoor shower was refreshing, love taking a shower outside. The bed upstairs was comfortable,  there were multiple fans to use too. Watch your head going upstairs (low clearance for anyone taller than 5'8ish) and the stairs are steep, you must be careful on them at night. Wifi spotty inside but much better on porch and in gazebo. Overall, nice cabin and enjoyable stay - not an overcrowded lake spot.

First time using HipCamp and we are very happy to come across Crescent Moon Spa. Sheryl and Phil were amazing host and truly thought of every detail to make the place so cozy. We will be coming back next season!

Amazing experience at Crescent Moon
Crescent Moon Cabin.
I took my 14 year old son to this amazing cabin for a couple of days of father/son fishing and kayaking. The location is absolutely beautiful. It is private and secluded. Charming cabin! Comfortable and well appointed for what we needed. The grill worked great. The hosts are gracious and accommodating. The water is crystal clear and refreshing. Wildlife is abundant! We saw several loons and a heron, too many fish to count, and heard much more activity in the surrounding woods. The neighbors around the pond are also friendly - one gentleman saw my son fishing and came over in his kayak to offer some local knowledge and even gave him a couple of lures to try out. Can't say enough good things about this experience. Thank you Sheryl and Phil for a great couple of days.

Absolutely beautiful cabin! So clean and pretty, I highly recommend staying here! The kayaks are SO convenient and so much fun!

Crescent Moon Cabin.
The cabin itself is super cute you can tell they put a lot of time into it. The outside of the cabin is clean and well kept up. The swing was a cute touch so relaxing! Loved the private dock was able to fish while our kiddo went swimming in the shallow area.

Crescent Moon Cabin.
This was our second trip to Crescent Moon Cabin and yet again we had the most magical weekend. Nestled in the treetops, in the coziest little secret world. The perfect place to relax, recharge and completely embrace nature. You really can feel the love and thought put into creating this cabin. Thanks to Sheryl & Phil for creating this space and being most welcoming. We can’t wait to visit next year!

We absolutely loved our time at this location. It was a much needed relaxing time away. It is a beautiful cabin, tucked perfectly away. Couldn’t have ask for a better trip:)

Crescent Moon Cabin.
My son and I had such a wonderful stay at crescent moon cabin. Such a peaceful spot with lots of outdoor space to enjoy. We loved the outdoor shower and fire pit and started each morning with a kayak. Sheryl was an excellent host who has thought of everything to make it a great stay. This was a perfect getaway into nature.

Crescent Moon Cabin.
We spent 3 nights here and had the most wonderful time! The cabin was exactly what I hoped for, and the screened in porch was perfect for sitting and reading. I had a lot of fun kayaking, and loved the dock at night for star gazing. Unfortunately we didn't get to do the nearby waterfall hike, but it looked like a lot of fun.

Crescent Moon Cabin.
We planned a quiet & relaxing getaway and that’s what we received. Sheryl and Phil showed great hospitality and are very welcoming to their property. We read the fine details more than once so we were prepared, everyone should take the time to read and ask questions before booking. Sheryl is exceptionally quick to respond to inquiries!

A peaceful retreat
Crescent Moon Cabin.
This cabin was amazing! My friend and I stayed for a weekend while driving out to king arthur campus for baking classes in the mornings (only a pleasant 50 minute drive away!) Coming back to the cabin with our freshly baked goods and sitting on the screened in porch watching the rain fall was such a peaceful experience. The cabin itself was so beautiful, I personally loved the motif detailing on the window frames and door, and the quilted blankets! Sheryl checked up on us when we were kayaking to see how things were going. She is so sweet and welcoming. We had no complaints about our stay there and are already planning a return trip!

Girls’ weekend bliss
Crescent Moon Cabin.
Crescent Moon Cabin was a perfect place for our girls’ weekend. It’s beautiful, tranquil, and clean. Sheryl was welcoming and available, but not hovering. The property is enchanting— lots of artwork, plants, and little discoveries everywhere. We would recommend arriving in daylight. The road in is an adventure, but in the best possible way. Saw a black bear!

Crescent Moon Cabin.
We wish we could keep this magical place a secret but Sheryl and Phil are good people and they deserve our support. Beautiful cabin, completely in harmony with it's beautiful surroundings. The sense of place has stuck with us and we will be back next year, we had the best time.

great spot on a quiet and clean lake...swimming, kayaking, walking. the cabin was perfect for us. well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, screened in porches and games. nice artistic touches.

Peaceful Timber Cabin on Quiet Pond
Crescent Moon Cabin.
We LOVED staying at Sheryl's beautifully crafted timber framed cabin. It was the perfect place to unplug, relax, and enjoy nature on our minimoon. The nearby trek through the woods to the waterfall was great, watching a thunderstorm from the screened porch was exciting, and pond was serene and fantastic for a peaceful kayak trip and floating around. Sheryl and her husband were very responsive to any needs/questions, and were all around fantastic hosts. 11/10 would recommend.
