Excellent host, he was very helpful. We used the pontoon all day with my 13-year-old son and his buddies. We were actually pretty successful at fishing with live bait. We got some decent sized bass and a couple of bluegill sunfish, which we ate that night in tacos. The area for the tents is comfortable and the host let us use his bathroom. He also has a big grill and perfect setup for a fire. He was very responsive and had great advice on local activities and fishing. We’ll happily go back.

Such a lovely space! Ronald was kind and generous, allowing us to use his boat and home (for bathroom, water, etc). We would love to come back in the future.

Ronald is a very affable and kind host who offered indoor accommodation during a thunderstorm and a boat ride as well. We made use of his laundry facilities and bathtub shower, as well as outdoor access to electricity. Overall the campsite area itself was unkempt...a discarded wet futon mattress, picnic table with dirt and mold on it, chairs tipped over and discarded, the stairs into Ron's house in disrepair. Indoors, the toilet handle was broken. Ron is a good host and some attention to his place will increase the attractiveness of camping there.

Settled in a quiet neighborhood, Ron’s cabin is perched over a small pond. There is shady space in his backyard to camp. What stands out is the pond and Ron’s pontoon boat. It’s a lovely oasis being on the water and watching the sunset. Ron is generous and allows his guests to use the boat and build a fire on his floating fire out.

Ron makes this place! He is a great host, awesome sunset rides on his pontoon. He also gave us great ideas for our next day of exploring. Loved swimming in the warm pond!

We had a great time at the campsite! Ronald had prepped some kindling for us when we arrived and was very generous about letting us use his pontoon to go out on the pond. Lots of swimming and good memories made. :) Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing Spot with Gracious Host

The campsite was excellent, with a lot of space and a provided picnic table, gas grill, large fire pit, and open access to the house on the property with a bathroom. We comfortably set up 3 tents and 2 cars and still had plenty of room. The neighbors have a dog named Zeus who visited us occasionally (very friendly) but otherwise we were left to our own devices the entire time. The pond was perfect in every way, and Ron provided us with a pontoon boat, kayak, fishing gear, and a floating fire pit (with wood already set up for a fire). We spent most of our time boating, swimming, and fishing and could not have asked for a better experience. Overall, Ron was incredibly generous and we would love to stay again. Highly recommended!

We loved staying on Ron’s land! He was incredibly hospitable, and being on the water was perfect. Exploring the lake on the boat and kayak was so much fun. Zeus was the sweetest.

This was a wonderful experience!! I’m so glad we came across this place, we were looking for some quiet relaxed time, and we booked this last minute! Ronald was very nice and accommodating, we had a great time with him, he even took us on a walk around the neighborhood!
Also the lake was wonderful we went fishing and spent most of the time at the lake and the sunset was the best!! If you’re thinking of having a get away and relaxed your body and mind this is the place for you! 100% recommended 😌

My family and I had a fantastic time. Ronald was an excellent host. He is happy to leave you alone, but I highly recommend getting to know him. He is a great guy. There is an extension cord for power, and having a full bathroom available was nice. We had a great time fishing, swimming, and paddling around the lake. It is also close enough to take day trips to Boston and Newburyport. There are also stores and restaurants close by in case you forget to bring anything. All in all, it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend staying.

Great host and the dogs are nice too! Very quiet and peaceful area with pond for kayaking & fishing. Also close to Hampton Beach, Salisbury & Newburyport.

When you arrive at Ron’s, you immediately feel like home. Ron welcomes you with open arms, offer you to use toilet, shower and even the laundry machine like it is yours.
We enjoyed two amazing nights on the lake’s dock. We offered a tour of the lake on a quiet electric motor boat. Many good conversations with Ron, especially on travels and bluegrass music.
We cannot wait to return to Ron’s and we encourage anyone looking for a spot near Boston to consider this listing.

We had such an amazing time here. Ronald was beyond accommodating and generous. He was so friendly, helpful, and really wanted to make our experience the best. He offered lots of great recommendations around the area, which we loved! The site was so beautiful and relaxing, it was exactly what we wanted. Such a perfect vacation. We absolutely will be back.
