Explore 45 acres of beautiful nature filled with wildlife, river access, trails, trees, and peaceful scenery. Enjoy watching Highland cattle, horses, and other wildlife while soaking in the quiet country atmosphere. We offer: * RV rental options * Tent camping * RV camping near the river or tucked into the trees * Spacious, secluded campsites * Pet-friendly stays * Vehicle access to camping areas Enjoy the shallow river, sandy areas, walking trails, wildlife, and wide-open skies. Spend your evenings around a campfire under the stars with no traffic, no crowds, and no nearby houses — just the peaceful sounds of nature. A washer and dryer room is available about a 10-minute walk from the camping area. We also have many horses and cattle on the property. Guests are welcome to pet animals when the host is present. Guests have plenty of room to relax and enjoy the peaceful setting at NC River Ranch. The property sits on over 90 acres with open space, beautiful views, walking trails, river access, and room to spread out and unwind. Whether guests are staying overnight or for a few days, the atmosphere is quiet, private, and surrounded by nature and ranch life. Amenities are easy to access and located close to guest areas. Guests receive arrival instructions before check-in and are asked to text about an hour before arriving so we can help guide them in and get them settled comfortably. Parking is easy with convenient pull-through access for trailers and RVs. Activities are self-paced and designed for guests to enjoy the ranch experience. Guests can walk the trails, relax by the river, enjoy sunsets and wildlife, visit the horses and Highland cattle, or simply enjoy the peaceful country setting. Horse travelers have access to the arena, round pen, stalls, or runs when arranged ahead of time. The property is family-friendly and offers a unique opportunity to experience ranch life while still being conveniently located near I-80 and North Platte, Nebraska.

Amenities are conveniently located throughout the ranch. Guests have access to 30- and 50-amp electrical hookups, and hosts are available on-site if assistance is needed. Directions to amenities and activity areas are provided at check-in, and we're happy to answer any questions during your stay. Activities are just a short walk from the campsites. Guests can enjoy peaceful walks around the ranch, relax by the river, watch our Highland cattle and horses, observe local wildlife, or simply unwind around a campfire under Nebraska's beautiful night skies. Horse travelers can also take advantage of our overnight horse accommodations with easy trailer access. Whether you're staying for one night while traveling along I-80 or planning a longer getaway, you'll have plenty of open space to enjoy the quiet beauty of the ranch.

Cassie and the rest of the "crew" there were amazing! Very responsive, super friendly and helpful. There are primitive sites on the river and more traditional with hook ups in the main area. Both are great choices! I ABSOLUTELY will stay here again the next time I'm passing through!

Wow! We needed an easy stop right off I-80 as we make our way back east. We were not expecting the beauty and privacy of this site. The fireflies put on a light show ever the river. Would highly recommend! Thanks for an unexpected treasure!!

Great location not too far from the interstate. The camping area down by the river was tranquil and secluded. One other campsite of neighbors was not too far away. Lots of frog croaking and birds singing. I highly recommend spending some time here if you have the chance.
