Welcome to The Trailhead Basecamp Adventure by day. Peace by night. Nestled on a peaceful homestead just outside Columbia Falls, The Trailhead Basecamp is the perfect place to relax after exploring Glacier National Park and the Flathead Valley. You’re Close to Everything 🏔️ 15 minutes to Glacier National Park’s West Entrance 🌲 20 minutes to downtown Whitefish 🚣 10 minutes to Blankenship Bridge and the Flathead River float 🎣 Minutes from fishing, rafting, hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding, mountain biking, golf, and horseback riding. As a local who loves exploring Montana, I’m always happy to share my favorite trails, restaurants, swimming holes, scenic drives, fishing spots, and hidden gems. During Your Stay • Spacious campsites with room to spread out • Fresh well water • Clean porta-potty • Communal fire pit • Beautiful sunsets and incredible star-filled skies • Friendly free-ranging chickens Firewood bundles, fresh eggs, seasonal garden vegetables, Montana agates, and petrified wood are available when in season. Guests also have access to a Traeger smoker grill, and locally sourced meat from a nearby butcher can be arranged upon request. If you happen to forget any toiletries, just let me know—I have a selection available and am happy to help. The Trailhead Basecamp is a dream I’ve been building one step at a time, and I’m excited to share this peaceful corner of Montana with fellow adventurers.
