Tried to cancel immediately after booking as plans changed and I would no longer be saying in the area, but closer to where I am camping… reached out and never heard back so they took my money even though i tried to cancel.
That sucks, don’t bother with this place there are plenty of other spots that are better and will handle this situation better.

This is a zero star review. in order of least to worst. Probably wouldn't have even said anything if they acted right about #2 & #1.
6. Apple maps doesn't recognize address. Google maps was also unclear, took me to two wrong places. I had to find the coordinates and transfer that info to my navigation app. Put coordinates in the listing.
5. Put an address plaque at the end of the driveway. After arriving to two wrong spots, it just would've been comforting to have confirmation that I was finally at the right place.
4. The weeds around all of the hookups were waist high. Super sensitive skin doesn’t like having to push through unfamiliar plants to connect my rv.
3. It's ridiculous to not offer trash when you're in a neighborhood. I could understand carry out if I was in the middle of the wilderness. They gave me the city dump address (6 miles away) but city dump didn't want garbage bags of trash, they're set up for truck/trailer loads.
2. I picked up hundreds of large screws, tiny nails, staples, razor blades, etc from the gravel. I had to go buy a magnet after rain turned it all up. I wish I could upload pictures to this review to show you how bad it was.
The tires on my rig are 1k apiece. I should never have to worry about tire damage from someone who is renting out an rv spot.

Very easy spot to stop at in Kalispell. We didn’t have to deal with bugs, and it felt very safe. Much cheaper than a Kalispell hotel, but we still had peace of mind. Bring a toilet!

Nails and Screws in the Pad

Gravel has nails and screws everywhere - Hipcamp did tell me it would be corrected and cleaned up by the host - I hope so. They would not give me a refund for my two nights (I an after one nite) pretty shallow.
Water pump had a red cap; from my knowledge as an engineer and farmer that indicates non-potable water.

Freedom Way Camping Spot
We really enjoyed camping on this empty plot. It was just out far enough you had your privacy, but also close enough to town if you needed something, the drive was only a few minutes away. There is some new construction that is close, bit not noisy at all. Very nice and peaceful evenings. ✌️

This campsite has been perfect for our project trailer, its in a private area around a Cul-de-sac surrounded by friendly neighbors. As the site is new, there’s no restroom or running water, however there’s a gas station nearby that has been super convenient for our long stay. It’s wonderful to be able to look out your window and just see deer and an open feild. The owners allow fires on the property, giving you a real Montana camping experience. The hosts are wonderful understanding people that are busy working to make this place a working trailer site with water and electric.

Nice lot, close to town but far enough out that we had deer visiting us. Drive to Glacier was super easy and quick. The rest of the review is about Mother Nature and not the hosts/owners. We had downpours every day. It's been a wet spring and as a result the vegetation was 10-12" high. Walk two steps and our hiking boots were soaked. The lot is an acre but we couldn't tell with the vegetation if there were dips or holes so we stayed toward the front of the lot. I'd stay again if in the area.
