Enjoy the comforts of home—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.

We are offering a small 350+sqft, open one bedroom cabin on a shared half acre with private entrance and parking. The space includes one bedroom with queen bed, one bath with water, electric and propane appliances. There is also a convertable couch in the livingroom which can easily sleep 1-2. Limited bedding, toiletries, utensils and dishes are available. Both access to a full indoor kitchen and outdoor BBQ area. There is a propane BBQ and firepit with outdoor seating. We are located on the east side of Kalispell just outside of city limits which allows for easy access to both in town amenities and close proximity to Glacier National Park, Flathead Lake, Whitefish Mountain Resort, Hungry Horse Reservoir and many lakes, rivers and trails. We are located on the bike path; Rails to Trails which ties to Kalispell, Somers, Kila and beyond. This property is modest, keep in mind you are camping but it is a great opportunity to set up camp and explore the Flathead Valley in all directions.This site includes a 350+sqft, one bedroom, one bathroom. There is private parking for two vehicles.You can enjoy views to the west of the incredible mountain range. The property is centrally located with a bike path just off the driveway. South you will find Flathead Lake, north aways Glacier National Park, Whitefish and the Big Mountain. You can't go far without coming upon a river, lake, park or hiking trail in every direction. Close enough to shopping and dining yet just far enough away. You may see the occasional deer or three, four, five of them.

Cabin in the Hood

This property is truly beautiful, featuring a peaceful and private backyard perfect for relaxation. The location was easy to find, and the instructions provided were clear and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I return to the area. The host is outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely a local legend. Highly recommend!

Replace the ceiling fan and clean the bathroom fan/light. Control the insects. Provide extra bedding for the couch. Provide a cooling fan for the bedroom. Mow and cut back the vegetation.

Cute cabin, weather dependent

Cabin in the Hood

The cabin was really cute and nicely appointed. We also enjoyed the hammock, the private patio, and the hot water. Unfortunately, it was 96 degrees ( unseasonably warm) and because the cabin has windows just on one side, it was really warm and took a while to cool down at night. Overall, I would recommend, just not in really hot weather.

Cabin in the Hood

We got to the location and ended up not staying. The name is a fun play on words, but it is a shed in the backyard. The photos are very flattering and do not show the true condition of the furniture and surroundings. The inside had a musty wet smell to it. I chose it for the location to our friends wedding venue and the enchanting photos.
