Tucked away on 10+ secluded wooded acres, Still Waters Bell Tent Retreat is a peaceful off-grid glamping escape designed for slowing down, reconnecting, and enjoying nature without the stress of packing a full campsite. This private bell tent retreat sits near two quiet ponds surrounded by woods, open clearings, trails, birdsong, frogs, turtles, deer, and other wildlife. Fall asleep to crickets, wake up to the sounds of the forest, watch turtles by the water, wander the candlelit trails, gather around the fire, or simply sit still and let the woods come to you. Still Waters is rustic, romantic, and easy. Guests can enjoy the feeling of camping with thoughtful comforts already waiting, including a spacious bell tent, queen-size bed, outdoor propane kitchen area including basic supplies and equipment, fire pit with grill, picnic tables, handwashing station, Jackery 1000 portable power station, clean porta potty, 25 gallons of potable water for drinking and cooking, and 50 gallons of water for the outdoor propane shower. This land is intentionally cared for as a quiet wildlife habitat. Please admire wildlife gently, keep pets under control, and help us protect the pond, woods, and native habitat. This is an off-grid site with no traditional electric hookup. The Jackery is available for light power needs such as charging phones, small devices, lights, or a laptop. It is not for heaters, air conditioners, hair dryers, coffee makers, microwaves, or large appliances. Guests should bring their own sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, toiletries, food, and personal items. Bedding may be available as a purchase add-on for guests to take home. Outside firewood is not permitted to help prevent pest spread; firewood must be purchased onsite. Pets are welcome, and cell signal may be limited. Lighting makes nighttime use easier and safer, and a fan helps with airflow and comfort. Because this is a wooded pond setting, mosquitoes are part of the outdoor experience. We use repellents rather than harsh pesticides to help protect the land, pond, pollinators, wildlife, and ecosystem. Guests may purchase mosquito spray and tiki torch citronella oil add-ons, or bring their own preferred bug spray and/or tiki torch fuel. Please do not bring foggers. Guests should bring sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, toiletries, food, and personal items. Bedding may be available as a purchase add-on for guests to take home. Outside firewood is not permitted to help prevent pest spread; firewood must be purchased onsite. Pets are welcome if cared for and controlled.

What a beautiful and secluded spot! We were able to camp with our class c and tow vehicle. The spot was nice and secluded as described. It was nice and quiet did not see anyone else our entire stay. Amenities were great, porta potty, wood, bug spray, citronella candles, on site garbage; we were so grateful! Our two dogs loved being off leash and roaming the well kept trails and exploring. Super close to Frankenmuth so that was fun to explore. Would definitely recommend.

The area was super clean, very peaceful to have that much area all to ourselves. My son had a blast exploring the trails which are very nicely maintained. While the weather didn’t really cooperate, we still had an amazing time. If someone is looking for a quiet, relaxing beautiful place for a camping trip, this is the place to go. Also, the host was SUPER responsive when I had any questions. Don’t miss out on visiting.

My husband and I loved staying here (we stayed a full 10 days)!! The campsite is very private, spacious, and relaxing!! Communication with Tabitha was great and she responded to my questions/concerns quickly!! T-Mobile cell service really wasn't too bad (it was much better than the service at our house)! We enjoyed the trails through the woods and playing with our 3 dogs in the wide open space in the campsite. Watching the turtles was also a plus! Highly recommended!!

We enjoyed our vacation on Tabitha's secluded campsite. We loved seeing the turtles and the walking trails. Communication was excellent, she answered all of my questions and provided clear directions on how to get there.

Perfect hidden getaway. Just for enough put of town for a peaceful camping experience. Plenty of space to park pur pop-up camper. The outhouse is a short walk along a pretty trail. Be aware you are near a pond in the woods in Michigan, there ARE mosquitoes, but don't let that deter you, from this little woodland grove.

Great place to get away from it all. Nature at its best. Ample space to setup a 22' camper, pitch a tent, and park three vehicles. Didn't see another person the entire trip, but the host was available if we needed.

What a hidden gem!

What a great secluded gem! We walked the trails with our golden retriever and had a few wonderful campfires. Tabby met us when we arrived and even helped us with firewood as it was later in the evening and we didn't have a tow vehicle with our motorhome. It was extremely windy and we did get some rain but the surrounding hills and trees kept us protected. We will definitely be back! Plenty of room for our 37 foot class A motorhome! The flowers were beautiful too! A++ experience! Thanks Tabby!

This was a nice secluded camp site. Tabitha was very responsive and helpful throughout. It was a nice space where we could fit our 4 tents plus enough play area for the kids. I would recommend brining bug spray as this is next to a pond. The trail was easy to walk. Overall it was a great place for friends and family!

We had a relaxing stay at Tabitha's land. We camped in our small travel trailer and enjoyed morning and afternoon walks on the trails. Communication with Tabitha was great, she provided all the information we needed to enjoy our time there.
