It's on a semi-private island that you need to take a ferry to. It's 2 Block from Lake Huron. You have access to Lake Huron via a public park and 6 inland lakes. There are only 70 ish permanent residents but it can have as many as 3000 on any given week. There are next to none retail shops however the local grocery store in Cheboygan will send boxes over on the ferry for a small charge. The property is located 5 miles from the dock so an easy bike ride.Your adventure starts with a ferry ride or plane ride from Cheboygan to a semi private island. You need to book your ferry ride on the Bois Blanc Island ferry reservations highly recommended(ferry runs based on weather-no refunds for issues with the ferry....missed appt time, etc...). 1-1/2 blocks from Lake Huron. Walking distance to great swimming and a very nice park. Great spot to launch your adventures. Dry camping only offered currently. You need to take your own food and be ready to pack out when you leave. There are no Wolves, Bears, on the island. There are plenty of deer if you are a hunter or just a nature watcher. There is a table and an old grill that still works until it runs out of propane. There is a firepit but you must notify the township before you can use it. Population on the island can go from 50 people to 3000 depending on the season
