Oh my god. That's was my second tent camping. I love this place. . The place is very clean, quiet, cozy . Huge respect for those people who take care of this place. Everyone from the Black Locust crew is very nice and helpful. Their beer is very delicious, there are about 17 beers to choose from, everyone will find something for themselves. The area is very beautiful, perfect place for cycling, very difficult routes because there are many hills, but beautiful.
I really recommend it if you like camping, cycling or just drinking beer. they also have good live music and food truck . For me perfect place .

A stunning view of rolling fields. A tent tucked away at the bottom of a hopyard. Good music playing faintly in the distance. A short walk for delicious beer and new friends. Easily one of the best camping experiences at the edge of society. 11/10

The site was semi private and boasts lovely views of the hop fields! I felt very safe as a solo woman camper. The bluegrass music and wonderful guests made for a relaxing afternoon!

I felt very safe as a solo woman camper! The space was easy to find an a quick walk from the brewery. Definitely would love to stay here again if I'm ever in the area :)

We had a great time camping at Black Locust! The brewery is terrific with fun vibes, live music, and really great beer, and Lisa was super helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended.

One of my favorite camping places- ever! I stayed on a Friday night at the brewery which boasted Lisa and her family, their beer, great live music, many friendly patrons, and a food truck. I stayed in the lower field where I fell soundly asleep while listening to the talented singer off in the distance. Bliss!!! :)
I left early the next morning and saw a great walking/biking trail very close by (Gunpowder Falls State Park) that had composting vault toilets and got my walk in prior to starting my daily adventure! Thank you so much again!!!

We loved this little spot. We enjoyed the delicious beer and music and then walked down to our campsite. It was extremely convenient. You can’t make a bonfire… but we didn’t miss that because they had them at the brewery. We loved the brewery so much we are going back tonight. Great find ☺️

Beautiful Scenic hilltop area with a perfect camp spot tucked away near a hidden gem of a local brewery. Arrived on a Saturday night, met Lisa, quickly set up and settled in to enjoy a beer and live entertainment. Everything quieted down quickly after 10pm and was able to get some peaceful sleep and awake to a beautiful summer morning. Would definitely visit again when in the area!

We had a great time staying at this campsite. We needed a place to stay to break up the drive and it was so much fun staying at the brewery. The beer was great and the atmosphere was so much fun. Lisa was very kind, responsive and accommodating.

I was at the back of the hops field on Lisa’s land next to the trees. It was quiet and private.
They have a brewery on the opposite side of the field. There was a band playing until about 6:00pm and most everyone left by 7:00pm. All in all very relaxing!

Hosts were absolutely awesome! We lucked out and got the campsite on a night the brewery had a concert and the vibes were literal perfect camping vibes! Definitely keep in mind that this campsite is AT the brewery so if they are open on the night you stay there are going to be people around, if that isn't your vibe make sure to book the lower campsite!

I felt very welcomed when I arrived. Everything was smooth when I followed Lisa's instructions. I felt like I had enough privacy even next to the brewery where I was able to spend time at in the yard. I will hope too book this again. Thanks Lisa!!

Stayed Friday and Saturday night with a late checkout on Sunday. Had a fantastic time. Location was great for us to go cycling on the York heritage rail trail, and the NCR rail trail. Also went river tubing in gun powder Falls State Park. After an active day we’d come back to the farm for a fantastic selection of beverages at the brewery, something from the food truck, and live music. In the mornings enjoyed amazing birdwatching on the property, from the comfort of a chair right outside our tent. The locust poles are full of nest cavities and the trees are also full of birds. Also enjoyed hiking on the property. Lots of blooming mountain Laurel and pretty ferns and moss. The late checkout was a great pleasure… allowed me to hike, bird watch, read. After packing up most of our stuff i grabbed a delicious limeade and nachos at the brewery, then finished packing and hit the road. Our hosts were lovely. We had a wonderful time.
