THOMAS POND Thomas Pond is a beautiful 533-acre freshwater with miles of shoreline. Thomas Pond’s maximum depth is 64 feet, and the mean depth is 22 feet. Our guests are welcome to kayak, canoe, swim, fish, and paddle board from the shores of The Queen’s Property, or one of 5 Right of Ways on Watkins Shores Road owned by our Association. Access to your private waterfront is a short stroll through our woods. As our guest staying at The Queen's Property, you will also have free access to the Watkins Shores Road Association's boat launch. The boat launch is just a two or three minute walk down the road from your site. Our new dock is available to dock your boat during the day.. However, there is a small fee to dock your boat overnight (see "Extras") at our site. Just make sure you check for Milfoil or any other invasive plants before launching. LOCAL ATTRACTIONS NEAR CAMP Within 5 minutes of camp, you will find all the essentials, including food items, ice, firewood, goodies, gas, and RV supplies. In fact, you can even order your groceries online for pickup, (free at Hannaford Brothers Grocery and Walmart) either on your way to your campsite or when you need to resupply your camp (we would be happy to give you the details). During your stay, you may also want to take a trip off-site to explore all that the Lakes Region offers. Explore the historic oceanfront City of Portland, or the local Towns of Windham, Naples, or Bridgton. Portland is a 35 minute drive from The Queen's Property. The coastline around Portland is rugged and attractive with world-famous lighthouses dotted along its shorelines. Numerous locally owned shops and nationally recognized restaurants can be found tucked into its many harbors and shorelines. Closer to camp, enjoy strolling through the Town of Naples. Naples sits smack-dab in the middle of the Sebago Lakes Region. Sebago Lake abuts its western border and Long Lake abuts its eastern border. A short 8-minute drive from your site, Naples spoils its visitors with boat rentals, waterfront shops, and awesome restaurants. Further north is the Town of Bridgton. Bridgton is a 20-minute drive from your campsite. It offers its visitors a quaint downtown filled with local retailers, pubs, and restaurants. Enjoy the beaches of Bridgton’s Crystal Lake which sits on the edge of its downtown borders. The towns of Raymond and Windham also offer our visitors numerous restaurants, grocery stores, hardware stores, and gas stations. Once again, all within a short drive from your campsite (3-4 minutes). NEARBY STATE PARKS AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES If your idea of exploring is centered around outdoor activities, then Sebago Lake State Park is a 1,342-acre park that abuts the shores of Sebago Lake. Within the park, you will enjoy protected forests, bike paths, and Sebago Lake beaches. Sebago Lake is a deep glacial lake, and by itself is 44 square miles of clear waters that abut Sebago Lake State Park. The park and the lake host some of Maine's’ best sandy beaches, water sports, fishing, boating, boat rentals, camping, picnic areas, boat launches, extensive woodlands, a wide array of critters, hiking trails, and walking trails. Sebago Park hosts various play areas for children with slides and swings. The summer sun is warm and the autumn colors are always abundant and beautiful. The entrance and parking lot are wheelchair accessible. If you are an avid hiker, The Queen’s Property is a short drive to numerous mountain ranges, forests, and peaks, all of which contain hundreds of miles of ATV and hiking trails. There are over 25 hiking trails within 10 miles of The Queen's Property and over 115 trails within 20 miles. Oh, and if you love winter sports you will love the Lakes Region.The Queen's Property (TheQueensProperty.com) sits in a 15-acre forest with over 600 feet of private shoreline on Thomas Pond. All of these features are within just a few feet from your RV. The 25’x45’ and 20'X20' crushed gravel parking pads are flat and secluded. Both pads are setback over 250' from the entrance on Watkins Shores Road. The Queen's Property is carefully laid out to give you and your family privacy from every direction. Your entire campsite is less than 130 feet from your private shoreline on Thomas Pond. Your only neighbors will be our resident loons, beavers, herons, eagles, hawks, and deer. Most nights, the only noise you will hear other than the popping sparks from your 4'x4' on-site fire pit, will be the beautiful and haunting sounds of the loons and frogs who make Thomas Pond their home. Just bring your locally sourced firewood (or purchase ours) and enjoy the star-studded evenings with family or friends. The Queen's Property on Thomas Pond
Perfect campsite! Clean, level, easy parking and set-up. Full hook-ups easily accessible! Firepit, grill, picnic table with umbrella all right there ready to go! Very private secluded spot, with trails to walk and explore. Lake was just beautiful with nice dock and stairs making for easy water entry.

Peace on Earth! What a relaxing, peaceful, quiet, regenertive spot. And Dan was the best host one could hope for. Our two furry family members had a great time too. The pond is clean, clear and inviting, even in the cool days of September. We highly recommend this Hipcamp! One of the best we've ever had the good fortune to visit.

Excellent location designed with full hook-ups and attention to all the details. The amenities of this site are better than most commercial campgrounds and the host has made certain to provide a clean, welcoming environment. Beautiful pond with private access in a quiet neighborhood... very nice.

The site was clean, and well laid out. The utilities were placed appropriately and easy to get to. This site is very private, comfortably nestled is trees with a short walk to a very private dock. This site is just simply amazing. It is the type of site you don’t want anyone else to find out about so you can have it available for yourself. On top of that Daniel was a great host!

The Queen's Property on Thomas Pond
WOW, can't say enough about this beautiful spot with privacy. So much attention to detail, we wanted for nothing. Nothing on site was old or worn out, even the picnic table was quality. Dan was so helpful and easy to reach. Sandy bottom private beach and dock area. I could even set my lawn chair in water and enjoy the peace and quiet at Thomas Pond. Crystal clear water, swimming and kayaking was a blast. We will definitely come back.

Loved our stay at the Queens Property! A bit hot for three days but hung at the water where there was a nice breeze. Our dogs loved fetching sticks and sunning themselves laying our floating dock we brought. Dan could not be more accommodating and helpful! The sight was well maintained , clean with electric, water and sewage hook up! There was even a cold outdoor shower!! Thomas pond was wonderfully clean and warm! Bring floats and water shoes! There was a dock to which we tied an umbrella to one post and sat in beach chairs to read our books! The walk to the water and dock was less than 3 mins! The camp site was also very quiet and private. We could occasionally hear loons call. The fire pit was beautiful and we purchased wood to which Dan delivered daily! The neighbors on water were very friendly and always gave a wave when passing by our dock or when we floated by there’s with our kayaks. Wi-Fi was excellent! We felt very safe and highly recommend The Queen's Property!

The Queen's Property on Thomas Pond
We had a wonderful time at the Queen's Property on Thomas Pond! The site had everything we needed and more! We enjoyed being tucked into the woods which provided us with plenty of privacy and space to walk our dog. We spent a lot of time swimming and hanging out on the dock. In the evening, we enjoyed relaxing by a campfire. I highly recommend this spot!

The Queen's Property on Thomas Pond
We had a great family camping trip this week on this perfect spot. We rented an RV locally and had it all hooked up to the 30amp power, water and waste. Parking was a breeze, it's super private, and the lake is very pretty and quiet. Kayaking was beautiful with the included kayaks. I highly recommend bringing a pop-up screened in area so you can enjoy meals, reading, etc outside and not be bothered by skeeters. We loved ours and it fit perfectly over the picnic table on the woodchips. We also had a waterproof outdoor blanket that we put on the ground inside of it which made it really comfortable. All in all I definitely recommend!

The Queen's Property on Thomas Pond
This campsite is amazingly private. It’s a short walk down to your own little dock and it’s a great swim spot for dogs, kids, and adults. Daniel was very friendly, and very helpful and gave us a tour and a walk down to the dock. Power, water and black water dump station are all right there. It was, unsurprisingly, super buggy. The Thermacell did a great job but I swear I could see them all assembling at the boundary waiting to attack. But that’s just summer in Maine! Looking forward to a second visit in the future.

Special spot! A lot of thought & care went in to making this spot perfect. We love private & it delivered. Zero neighbors w our own private dock & two kayaks/life jackets. Outdoor shower. Grill. Fire pit. Picnic table. Umbrella. Clean. Dan was an incredible host. We kayaked & hiked. Great local hiking trails. We had a blast & will be back! Thank you!

The Queen's Property on Thomas Pond
We stayed at this beautiful site for 3 nights. My children 13 and 10 loved the private swimming and dock. We had our 2 dogs with us and this site was so private which made it nice not to have to worry about them disturbing anyone. I am not sure if the kids or dogs loved it more. It was rainy one day so we took advantage of exploring the trails behind us. Not only was this site one of the best, but Dan and his wife were amazing hosts and very welcoming. They made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back, you don't want to miss this site!

The Queen's Property on Thomas Pond
WOW, this site had everything we were looking for and then some. Dan the owner couldn't have been any more friendly. Privacy you are on your own average with water, septic,outdoor shower, sun umbrella, grills, firewood, fire pit, CLEAN site, trash on site and he supplied 2 kayaks for us to use. We visited 4 days and it was probably the hottest it will be all year but we were comfortable. . If I had to say one thing for future visitors is that while you can see the lake peekaboo you will need to walk down a slim trail to get to the actual dock, might be a challenge for someone with unstable walking and or very small children. We did not have either of those and trail and dock situation was fine for us. Beautiful just sitting and watching the lake.

Amazing site! Daniel has really thought of everything. This is a beautiful, maintained, landscaped spot with hookups. You can tell a lot of heart and a love of camping went into this. The setting is very nice, wooded on all sides and a short walk to the water. We heard loons, saw tons of lightening bugs, butterflies, frogs... Our dogs LOVED swimming and kayaking with us. Daniel is an extremely gracious host. We can't wait to come back.

We absolutely loved camping here. The site was clean and had all accommodations that you need to relax. The lake was beautiful. We had a great time fishing and swimming. The host was very friendly and helpful. We greatly enjoyed our time. I would highly recommend this place. It is amazing!

We had a great time here at The Queen's Property. It's private and beautiful. Dan was very responsive and just went above and beyond to help make our stay the best that it could be due to some weather challenges. The site is very well maintained. We definitely will be back!

The lot was wonderful and a short walk down the trail to a dock and wonderful views of the pond. Put the kayaks in the water and go. Big Bass if you are into fishing. Clean clear water if you want to take a dip. Plenty of privacy. Very nice owners.

The first time campers

The Queen's Property on Thomas Pond
This was our first camping trip with our new little RV. Dan and his wife were the best host and I’m so thankful for their little gem tucked away in the woods. The site had a private dock that we sat and fished on one night. There’s also a beautiful fire pit and a picnic table close to where we parked the camper. A charcoal grill was on site and also a gas grill. Grill was free to use which was great because we brought charcoal. Dan brought Over a bottle of wine as a gift for us first time campers. ❤️. He also met us at the camp site on our arrival and gave us a great tour. The area is close enough to Walmart (we needed so many more supplies) and many other stores and places to eat. The Camp site is beautiful. Very quiet and private. Very Well taken care of and clean. During our stay our truck battery died . Dan came over and helped my husband jump it as soon as I messaged him and asked for help. Thank you so much Dan for all your help and making our camping trip a very enjoyable and memorable one. We will be back again soon to visit your Queen’s property.

Beautiful private location at end of a wooded drive just a bit off of the lake. Dan and Sue have put an enormous amount of love and care into this spot, and are exceptional hosts. Every detail is covered and when (and if) anything is needed, they are readily available. We used this spot as our starting point for our New Hampshire / Maine fall adventures. Plenty to see and do within hour or two of the camp spot. Work from trailer and wifi is good (either his or T-Mobile Home service I use). Absolutely would recommend to anyone and will stay here again if we make it back to Maine!

Very beautifully groomed private site. Everything you need right there, campfire, grill, potable water, electric and sewer if needed. Nice trails and woods, easy walk to boat area, kayaks to use, plus stores restaurants nearby. A real natural secluded gem, don’t miss out staying here!

The Queen's Property on Thomas Pond
To stay at the Queen's Property ended up being so much more than a private full hookups campsite on Thomas Pond. Our host Daniel was the star. He was so welcoming, friendly and generous to us from the get go. His care for the land and openness about the area and the improvements made really could be felt. And then there were the loons eagles ducks turtles frogs and fish, the pond that supports all this wildlife, so welcoming too. So cool on the hot days here and kayaking in the quiet morning time with the pond fog not quite lifted was magical and will not be forgotten. We hiked nearby and had such a lovely and peaceful retreat at the end of each outing. The site was super clean we had zero issues and will be back again next year for sure.

The Queen's Property on Thomas Pond
My husband, our four-legged children and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Queen’s Property. The site is tucked away in a secluded and gorgeous nook of the woods not far from Thomas Pond. It is completely private, away from everything except nature’s innate beauty. The amenities are top-notch, the fire pit is nicely positioned and the surroundings are beyond comparison. We were there nine nights and it just wasn’t long enough. Our first night we were so excited to be greeted by a pair of owls hooting. Every evening thereafter, the loons were singing their hauntingly beautiful wail. Our dogs, too, were overjoyed with the location. There were plenty of trails to hike and at the dock the water was shallow enough, they could jump in without worry. There were an abundance of new scents and squirrels to distract them (we did not let them chase or harm any of the wildlife). With all the perfection the site itself had to offer, our stay was made even more wonderful by the host. Dan was amazing. He met us about a mile from the campsite and gave us a quick tour. The wood we requested was next to the fire pit and the kayaks were at the dock ready for us to explore the pristine and expansive pond. He checked on us a couple times but was not intrusive. We cannot give The Queen’s Property a higher rating. It is the absolute best and we hope to visit year after year.

The Queen's Property on Thomas Pond
Dan’s spot was perfect! Private, spacious, well-equipped. The site is surrounded by trees with a glimpse of the water through the forest. Our dogs loved having free run of the site and surrounding woods. The pond was beautiful, and we loved hanging out on the dock. The waterfront area is nice and clean with a sandy bottom, but note there’s no beach— woods goes right up to the water. It’s shallow, clear, and has a sandy bottom though for wading. It was loved by both humans and dogs. Our favorite hipcamp yet! We will be back.

The site was incredibly private and well maintained. Lovely views and access to the water. Daniel, the host, was super communicative and so nice and met us to show us around. We had a great stay and would highly recommend this wonderful spot.

The Queen's Property on Thomas Pond
The privacy was amazing. Down a driveway, walk to the swim area is private. The woods are easily traveled. The swimming is sandy bottom for a decent ways, and there is enough shallow water for kids or lounging. The lot itself is great, and you can tell a lot of care has been taken to bring out the best. Dan was a wonderful host, and we will be back!

We loved this site! Dan is an excellent host, and set us up with everything we needed to enjoy his beautiful property. Everything is super convenient and pristinely maintained, and was perfect for us to get our feet wet with our first RV excursion. We would love to come back! Quiet, private, laid back - everything you need to relax.
