Great, private little spot. We use our Prius for overlanding, so we just parked in the turnout for our camp spot and slept in the car. The turnout was flat (we were in the Treestand campsite) and perfect. The camping area itself was a few steps down a path, and had a picnic table, fire pit and firewood.

Great little wooded offroading trails if you have the vehicle for it (absolutely not required). I appreciated that it wasn't a big flat campsite with everything all prepped for you, my experience felt more like a true camping trip. Having the fire pit available on site was all I needed! Would definitely go back.

I'm sure Bruce is a good guy, and his communication was really good. However, the campsites leave a lot to be desired. Essentially they are just two spots in the woods, accessible by a dirt road and a short logging road. There's a stone fire ring and a picnic table. But there's really no reason to be here. It's a little odd. I feel like I could have pulled off the highway and found a dirt road into the woods and camped there... And it would be the same experience. There's no composting toilet, no drinking water, no view, nothing that makes this any different from any spot in any woods. The short logging road is only navigable by 4WD with good ground clearance. And I don't know how two cars, for the two campsites, would share that narrow road.

Sorry to give the terrible review but the camp site really had no level ground to put up a tent. We arrived in the dark which we are use to doing when camping but this camp site was a bear to get to and then when we got back to the camp site there was no level/flat ground to put up a tent. We had to move brush and leaves to make a level site on the logging road to put up our tent which took hours to do.
We did really appreciate all of the fire wood and nice fire ring to have a fire. That was great. Again the ground was not level and it was hard to put a chair by the fire pit but with some work on our part we did manage to sit and enjoy the fire pit. It was awesome to be away from other campers as it was very private. The cost was good but I don't think it would be too much to make the camp site more level/flat without ruts and small hills so a tent could be put up easily in the actual camp site area.

On my travels north, I was looking for a quiet place to camp with my dog. The campsites are park and walk in, but they were close to where I parked. Clean and simple- was a perfect stay!

The amount of and height of all the ferns was less than ideal. This site was not maintained and completely overgrown, and I felt it would’ve been nice if the space was cleared a bit before arrival. As a woman, I don’t mind peeing outside but crouching in ferns at nighttime with critters was my nightmare. Plus there was no way we could comfortably have a fire or sit at the picnic table. Thank you for the stay, but we unfortunately will not be returning to this location.

This was a great site, remote enough to get the tires a little muddy, but close enough to the road that if you had a regular car/truck you could hike in. Lots of land to explore in the tuck and on foot with a beautiful stream that I wish I had a fishing road with me for. Will 100% come back again, thanks Bruce!

The woods were very quiet the whole time. I walked the trails and down to the creek with my dog and never saw anyone. You can barely hear any sounds of the outside world--I heard the pleasingly distant baying of a hound dog, a bit of tire noise from far off trucks, regular banter between owls deep in the night. I did hear a coyote the last night that my pup going a bit. Fishing in the creek was great with non-stop action. Bring tall boots the shore is very wet this year. Red sunfish and small mouth bass. Mushroom foraging was best in class if you know what you are doing. Camp site had wood provided and a large rock fire-pit. My site had a nice picnic table. I saw one other empty site and it had one too. If there were not two days of monsoon that "dampened" the experience it would have been A+. Definitely would stay again.

Informative, and quickly responding host. We stayed at the Ridge Site; very secluded, very cool trail to get to. Definitely a 4wd / hi clearance road, would not recommend for non-modified vehicles. Lots of firewood on site, outhouse, and picnic tables. Would stay here again

If you want a remote campsite in beautiful woods, this is the place for you. Site has a table and a nice fireplace, and was supplied with plenty of wood. We didn't see any people other than Bruce the whole.time we were there.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Sebasticook Millennium Green. Bruce's instructions were clear and easy to follow. Our campsite had a feeling of being quite remote, like something deep in the backcountry, even though it was easily accessible with our vehicle and not too far from the main road. There was a large stone fire pit and plenty of firewood, as well as a sturdy picnic table, and enough relatively flat, soft ground to set up our 8' x 8' cabin tent. The surrounding deciduous forest provided the perfect setting to enjoy a surprising pop of autumn color. Given the opportunity, we wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We had a great experience camping on Bruce's land. The campsite is in a beautiful, secluded forest with a nice fire ring, picnic table, and free firewood. Bruce was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. We will definitely come back if we're in the area again.

My fiancee and I enjoyed our time at the camp and would come back. It's nice and quiet with a good campfire pit to have fires. We had our dog with us and she loved roaming around the woods and chasing the birds and chipmunks. Only complaint is how bad the mosquitos are. Even with bug spray and fire going, they still were getting us. Not Bruce's fault, just an inconvenience, but that comes with camping. Trail to camp is mostly okay, but if driving anything besides a truck or good 4x4 suv, don't try to pull all the way down. Very short walking distance from where we parked in trail. All in all, would recommend!

We had a blast staying at Bruce’s. He was an excellent host and gave us a wonderful site to put our large canvas tent. It was very private and not too far from the blacktop. His property has an expansive network of trails and abuts plenty of other woods and water nearby. If I am ever camping in the area again It will certainly be at Sebasticook Millennium Green.

We were so happy to find this place. All the camp spots we were looking at were ridiculously overpriced and had too many people. This is exactly what we were looking for, reasonable price and peaceful and a one night stay on our way to Acadia. Having the huge fire ring and plenty of free firewood already chopped was the best part. There were some mosquitos like other people mentioned but really not too bad and nothing bug spray didn’t manage. You can drive directly into the site but only if you have a modified and lifted vehicle.

Bruce was extremely accomodating. He set us up with the site we wanted and when we were not able to get the car to the site, he gave us the other site (as no one was there). Lots of bugs but thats expected this time of year. Lots of little trails you can get lost on. If you are looking for a secluded Western interior Maine site, this is a good choice.

Bruce was awesome! I pulled my 26' camper back there and boondocked with a generator. He let us walk the trails on his property, do some fishing in the stream, he supplied plenty of firewood for us, dogs were happy to run around and chase wildlife. All around great spot with a great host. No sewagehookups but theres a dump about 20 min away eith easy directions, no electricity hookups or fresh water but we hooked up to the genny and brought in water. Gas station within a 10 minute drive.

Great host. Phenomenal campsite. Was able to pull my 24' camper all the way to camp site. Loved that it was very primitive. Fishing was a short walk away. Fire wood was provided. If your looking to get away, and not have to see anyone. This is definitely the place to go. So many hiking trails, it would take a week to hike them all. 10/10 recommended.

Everything was above and beyond expectations! Host communicated with me all of camps details, location, extras (tons of firewood!), picnic table. Bruce, provided map of entire trail system on a huge property. You'd never be able to explore it all. Excellent!
