We had a very last minute booking and was so thankful for the immediate response as it made us feel better about showing up with only a 45 minute heads up. The directions were perfectly described and we were impressed with the privacy. We arrived and was greeted once I told MJ we were there. He showed us around a little and let us pick which spot we preferred. It was very clean and quiet. We felt safe and secluded which we love. We don't like camping at campgrounds because there isn't any privacy and this was the perfect set up. The little outhouse is kept clean as well. It was the perfect spot. We would definitely camp here again.

Beautiful property, welcoming host. We came on the 4th of July and he invited us to join in on a firework show! He upgraded us to a front spot when we arrived. Absolutely would visit again

Just what we needed. A very quiet, safe place to stay the night on our way through Maine. Would recommend it to any Overlanding folks. Great directions and you can't beat the price. We had a super late check in and mJ was so kind to move us to a front spot so it would be easy to find. Much appreciated!!!

we had the place to ourselves and stayed at off grid site 3. great set up and privacy. well kept and clean!
surprisingly busy atv trail, so keep that in mind if you stay at off grid site 2, because you’re on the trail/road itself.
The spot was nice and quiet and John was a pleasant host. Thank you for the great stay!

Fantastic land to camp on. Very quiet and clean. Host is amazing and incredibly friendly. I will definitely be returning again.
MJ was a very welcoming host even when we showed up after dark due to our own travel delay. It was a dark night and we were exhausted and trying to find the address when we came upon spooky ghouls and ghosts along the road. We realized we had arrived upon finding the sign and had a good laugh at the appropriate ambiance for coming upon the spooky decorations.
We were upgraded to a front site as the one we had booked was soggy from rain. The site was beautiful and peaceful and we had a very nice stay. Bonus that it is dog-friendly as our two dogs were able to join us.

The campsite was clean and set back into the woods, perfect to hammock, have a campfire, picnic, and pitch a tent! The host was really nice and helped with directions, 10/10 recommend
The host was amazing. Always made sure things were good. The outdoor environment was a good experience for kids and animals to be sorta them selves. A good learning experience for any age with survival and adventure. Convenient store was maybe 10 minutes down the road and actual stores are about 20-30 minutes. The neighbors also were amazingly friendly and fun.

Site 2 - Off grid camping site
The site had the exact amenities/vibe I was looking for for a laid back weekend of sitting by the fire and reading; Fireplace/Grill, Picnic table, covered trash can, and outhouse. And it was only 40 mins away from home!
I loved the tree cover (I didn’t have to set up the awning I brought) and the site was well maintained.
If you want more privacy I’d recommend one of the other sites. Site 2 is right on an ATV/UTV trail, which didn’t bother me, but I saw/heard a number of people going by during my stay. (Probably one an hour)
Couldn’t stay the second night because my dog was having a hard time relaxing away from home. I’m an early riser, so instead of leaving at sunrise, I decided to leave at sunset.
I’ll definitely be back (sans dog)

What a great little spot. We reserved the back 40 campsite but it was too muddy so we were upgraded to one of the regular sites with a fire ring and an outhouse with plenty of space for parking and a large flat grassy spot for a couple tents. The host met us and was super friendly and accommodating. this is a great location for people on side by sides as well. The only thing to note is The front campsites are on a dirt road that is a tad busy this Memorial Day weekend, if you are looking for absolute privacy I’d suggest the back 40 campsite. Everyone who drove by was respectful and friendly and not in anyway disturbing us, just something we observed.

Make sure you come in from Jones road. Otherwise you're coming in through an ATV trail. I was put in site number 2. Very well kept Nice fire ring picnic table and a trash can. Pit privy off to the trail going in.

Night time was so very quiet! MJ and John were attentive hosts who helped us with a very late arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed the night there.
The camping site was primitive which is what I was expecting so that went well. I was able to gather firewood to start a fire.

We pitched our tent at Site 2–Off Grid and ended up being the only camper (at least in that area) for the weekend. It was a beautiful spot. Our anxious pup was able to safely explore with us—she loved chasing frogs and sitting by the fire. This site is right on the ATV trail so expect to see/hear them throughout your stay—but it did not hinder our experience at all! The host met us once we arrived and got settled and we received quick responses from his wife when any questions arose. We will definitely be back—looking forward to trying out the “glamping” experience next time!

Awesome hosts and beautiful site! Very remote, just what we wanted!
This is really OFF THE GRID and accessed by ATV trail. I had fun and quite the experience!
We were looking for a quiet place in the middle of no where. We opted for this property and loved it.
The site we chose ended up being remote , clean , with a cute fire ring and the right amount of space the two trucks. The dogs loved exploring close by and the tree canopy made the whole place feel cozy.
We highly recommend this as a site. MJ was communicative and very helpful. Her husband also was SUPER nice.
I personally love primitive deep woods camping, and this spot did not disappoint! It was simple and very remote, I heard a 4 wheeler once or twice and a couple airplanes but other than that it was only nature. There was plenty of fire wood and a variety of sites to choose from. Jon was incredibly friendly and accommodating. I can't wait to camp here again.
