We had the most amazing experience here and I already can’t wait to plan our next visit to really just enjoy the site more! But it was absolutely STUNNING, the views were beautiful and so much care was put into every part of the site. I really couldn’t have asked for a better experience on my first solo trip with my pup! We heard lots of different animals during the night especially and it was really just magical!

Great place right near Acadia & Bar Harbor (as well as numerous other places with less foot traffic). The downtown area of Ellsworth has cute shops, great food, and everything you'd need and is about a 15-20minute drive right from the camp site.
The site is secluded & spacious but has everything you'd need in order to stay comfortable on a camping trip.
I loved bringing my dog because he had ample space to explore. The hosts were very communicative!

This campsite is really special- the property is absolutely beautiful, the tent and everything provided made our stay comfortable, and the lake is sooo peaceful. We loved spending two nights here with our dogs and using it as a jumping off point to explore Acadia. Tabatha was also extremely communicative and helpful! Their property is huge, and we didn’t encounter anyone else during our stay. The brook was dried up since there’s been such a drought, so I can’t even imagine how much more awesome it would’ve been if we had that for our dogs to play in right at the site!

We had an amazing time at the camp! It was just what we wanted for our trip, not to far from Acadia and Bar Harbor, but in a super relaxed and not so busy area. Tabatha was very responsive and gave great recommendations throughout our stay. The tent area, the fire pit, the stream running by the tent, the outhouse, everything was great! But, be prepared for mosquitos! We were even lucky enough to see a bull moose during our stay. Thank you Tabatha for sharing this with us!

The campsite was great and beautiful. We had a blast. It's just the right distance of being out in the woods, but close enough to civilization that Walmart is only about 20 minutes away. It's about an hour outside of bar harbor, which is where we spent most of our time. Host was very nice and was quick to answer any questions I had.

This is a really magical place. Our kid had a great time exploring the brook (and set up her own “house” in a section of it) and loved how comfy the setup inside the tent is. The wood stove was amazing for chilly nights, and the location is excellent. The fire pit has been updated from what’s in the photos to a really big pit with a super nice grate, which was great for cooking. The layout is really thoughtful, with the kitchen tent closest to the car, which saves you having to carry the heaviest stuff (cooler and food) very far. We definitely hope to stay here again!

This was the perfect getaway in the woods and base for camping and hiking in the area. We loved being within reach of Acadia and Bar Harbor, but not at a crowded campground. We especially loved having a tent with a real bed, lots of amenities, and all camping gear provided and set up! It was really decadent. Great hosts who were super responsive.

Tabatha had everything we need and was very helpful. The location made us feel like we were camping with fairies. Sleeping by the creek was very refreshing and having a trail to walk to the lake was amazing. The fact that we could get farm fresh eggs was top notch. We highly recommend staying here.

A beautiful peaceful heavily wooded campsite with the quintessential babbling brook full of cool clean water. The moss covered boulders add to the beauty of this Maine property. The provided tent is set up perfectly and was clean and well thought out. We found extra bug spray (a must!), extra batteries and flashlights. There is a nice deck off of the tent to enjoy down at the rest of the campsite. I think it’s important to know that this site is not set up in the traditional manner where everything is in close proximity. One must park on the dirt road and then bring in the equipment by hand. There is a wheelbarrow provided however it can’t go all the way to the sleeping tent and fire pit area because of boulders, trees etc. The cook tent is set up closer to the car…but again, not near the tent. It took us a day or two to get used to it but I would not recommend this particular site to anyone that has trouble walking on uneven ground. Seasoned campers/hikers will be just fine. The host Tabitha was very helpful and the surrounding area is beautiful. Easy access to Acadia.

Beautiful, secluded campsite right next to a stream! Perfect for a solitary retreat into nature for meditation. There are plenty of amenities for a group camp setting as well.

I loved this camping spot! It was so unique and super cozy at night time. It stayed dry inside even in the rain!! I would definitely come here again and stay.

I absolutely loved this spot! This was my first hip camp surprisingly! The separate canvas sleeping tent was incredible and SUPER comfortable bed!!!! Can’t wait to come back and use woodstove!!!
The cook screen tent and table, dishes , water jug and more were such a nice touch. !!
There is also another guest tent on the property a short walk from canvas “glamping” tent!
The creek flowing through topped EVERYTHING off. I did not walk down to path to Branch Lake because I’m healing from a broken foot but REALLY look forward to that when I come back!

Solitude with a beautiful creak. Camp was comfortable and clean. Despite the first two days of rain we made it a great time. Getting from vehicle to camp with gear was really the only trouble but it was worth the extra effort. Great location that has the ability to be a destination camp if you want to stay in.

Super peaceful listening to the stream just next door to our secluded tent site. My first trial of glamping (vs prior mostly backpacking camping) and the mattress was quite comfy and all of the sleeping and dining tent set ups were quite pleasant. The lake felt a little further away than expected but was beautiful when I walked to it.

Beautiful campsite with a cozy tent and plenty of room to spread out. The cook tent by the brook was the perfect place to sit and enjoy our coffee and breakfast in the mornings. Our dogs loved playing in the brook and listening to all the sounds in the woods. We loved being able to get down to the lake and rent a canoe. Such a wonderful place to call home while exploring the area. We hope to be back in the future!

This was a great site we lucked upon! Tabatha was an awesome host and allowed us to check in late as we made our way to Acadia. First off, I recommend arriving to the site early as it’s a short hike in from where you park your car and it’s just easier seeing where you’re stepping as it’s a little rocky in parts. The tent was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We had our dogs with us and they felt right at home. We woke up to find one of the most unique site we’ve ever stayed at. A small stream runs through the camp creating a serene space you’ll never want to leave. Tabatha has a camp kitchen set up not far from the tent with a grill and table to hangout at along the water. There’s also a guest tent if you need more space at night for more than two guests. Had we known we had stumbled on such a secluded, cool spot we would have planned to stay longer. But we do know next time we come to Acadia we’ll be staying here again!

The directions leading up to the camp were some of the best I've ever received with pictures and details.
The camp itself is set pretty far out into the woods. Camp is a durable tent with a bed a pull out cot. The arrangement is comfortable, though the sheets were a little mildewy.
There's a deck with a small table/chairs. The firepit is right along a stream which is ideal 👌. Plenty of firewood. I was able to take the shower bag away from the camp and show in the woods.
Really great. We would do this one over again.

We had an AMAZING time on Tabatha’s land. The tent was spacious and comfortable and the surroundings were gorgeous. I am recommend this site to anyone who is visiting Acadia!!
