Peak animal sanctuary is a non-profit vegan sanctuary that is home to 44 farm animals that have been rescued from neglect situations and/or factory farms. We are located on 65 beautiful acres in Owen County Indiana where you can view star filled skies on a clear night and camp near our animal enclosures. We do require that anyone who chooses to camp on our property has to adhere to our "vegan only" policy while onsite and not bring or consume any animal/fish or dairy products while on the property. For the safety of our animals and guests, visitors are not permitted to enter any of the animal enclosure areas without a staff member. We do offer a short tour and introduction for a small donation. We had the most wonderful time at Peak! The folks were so warm and welcoming, the farm was the kind of place I’d dream of living in if I was a farm animal, and the animals were so cute! I can’t say enough good about them. Thank you to Maria who showed us around!

This is a dreamy, beautiful property! The animals were entertaining, and hosts were very welcoming. It was nice to have toilet access since we were tent camping. We had a fire and cooked our dinner, and they had picnic tables for us to eat at.

This was by far the most accommodating and generous host(s). I was so late arriving and they stayed up past midnight to greet me and guide me to a lovely spot so I “could have the best view and also see the pigs in the morning .” Here I was - hours late. They were incredibly gracious and caring. I loved the view and the pigs and the entire location. 😀

This is the most magical place on earth with the kindest hosts! I highly recommend this beautiful sanctuary if you love animals, love nature, and are looking for serenity!

I loved tent camping at PEAK Animal Sanctuary. Everyone was super friendly and made me feel right at home. Before I left I got to meet many of the animal residents at PEAK, which was a moving experience that I won't soon forget. I highly recommend camping at PEAK. I also got to see their Airbnb rooms which were very nice.

What a fantastic, once in a lifetime opportunity to be a part of something so magical with Maria and the Animal Sanctuary (Solar Eclipse). If you are looking for AMAZING hosts and a quiet place to recharge, this is your new sanctuary! Driving distance to and from various parks, hikes, and town were rather close. You will absolutely adore your hosts Maria and Rayann!

Incredible property with the nicest hosts. The views are fantastic, the songbirds are wonderful and the farm itself is full of beautiful animals, big and small. The house has a flush toilet and a kitchen that you can use for food prep or cleanup! We will certainly be back here the next time we are in southern Indiana.

This place is such a gem! Just the most beautiful, peaceful spot to camp. The hosts were so sweet and welcoming, and the animals are lovely. My favorite may have been Lily the turkey. There is a ton of space so you can be nearby the house and a main fire pit or off in the field (and there’s portable fire pits plus wood available for a small donation, no reason to stop and buy any on the way). They have a little gift shop that has vegan s’mores supplies as well which was great. I really hope to come back here someday❤️
