The bus is adorable, the Whitney provided information ahead of time and then was always responsive when I had questions. The clubhouse looks like a great place to spend time...though I wasn't there long at all - just a quick stop-over on a road trip. I wish I'd had more time to explore because the images online don't seem to do it justice.
It was cold November night and I got a head's up from Whitney - and they provided a small propane heater. I knew I was taking a risk booking when I did, but I very much appreciated the thought. Still, I woke up to snow, which I absolutely hadn't expected!
The location is definitely out of the way (a benefit), but somewhere I'd go out of my way to go back to for a longer stay.

This was such a beautiful property, all the lights and little trails to walk through. You could tell they spend dedicated time to making the stay feel special and comforting! Seeing the chickens was so sweet and the bus was so cozy. We will definitely come back over the summer!

This was the perfect place to spend an evening reflecting and setting intention! The whole land is gorgeous. The hosts were very friendly (but not overly so ;)). The bus is quaint and welcoming and tucked away for privacy. As a female, solo camper, I would highly recommend for anyone who wants the feel of solo camping, but with a little assurance of safety/ security and access to home-based accessories (i.e. indoor toilet and coffee in the am!) I'll definitely be back!

Our first time using Hipcamp and it did not disappoint! It was peaceful, cozy, and relaxing! We fell in love with the attention to detail and the hosts were wonderful. Highly recommend and we cannot wait to come back to unwind!

I loved the beautiful camping spots and trails! The lights were so pretty and getting to talk to Whitney and Jared was definitely a highlight! The animals were so fun to interact with, especially Anne the kitten! We stayed in the bus for our anniversary and got engaged! I cant wait to go back.

We booked this little cabin for my wife’s birthday weekend. Such a magical little place! Every piece of decor, furniture and trinket was well thought of! There was a lot of effort put into making this cabin and the amenities accessible. We wanted for nothing! We absolutely loved staying here and can’t wait to return again the next time we’re around!

From the moment we pulled into the property it was clear that this was going to be a great experience. The property is beautiful and meticulously maintained. We stayed the night in the little house and it was a very relaxing getaway. The house and clubhouse were both very clean and plenty of amenities were provided by Whitney, including a beautiful library with many great books and games. The location is convenient near the state park and some great restaurants, wineries, and coffee shops. We loved our stay and will return again soon!

My mom and I loved our 3 day stay here! The bus was extremely cozy and the property was absolutely gorgeous. There were so many thoughtful details throughout! We loved feeding the chickens and played with the kitten Annie every time we passed the shed. The location was super convenient as it was a 5 min drive from the state park where we kayaked and hiked, and about 10 mins from black pine animal sanctuary. The bathroom was clean, fresh coffee every morning, and the bed was so comfortable. We loved falling asleep to the sound of cicadas and waking up to the rooster. Highly recommend!!

The tiny cottage was exactly what I needed for the weekend. A secluded feeling, but plumbing within walking distance was such a treat. The lil cabin is so sweet and decorated so lovely. The vibes were perfect. I loved that it was in a small clearing - just right for star gazing ✨️

Whitney and Jered were great hosts and truly went above and beyond! The bus was so cozy and we had our own fire pit and picnic table. The bus campsite felt very private, while still only being a few minute walk to the bathroom/clubhouse. The bus and clubhouse were both stocked with cooking utensils, plates, candles, and recommendations/maps for the area. A nice added bonus was the squatty potty in the bathroom in the clubhouse. The bus was definitely warm (a few windows have screens so there is a little cross breeze), but we brought handheld fans and were really only inside to sleep. The rooster made for an early alarm clock, but honestly added to the fun of the weekend for us. The property is full of native plants, berries, wildflowers, and greenery. We hope to go back to stay at the bus again soon!

Lovely, adorable, quaint, sweet, memorable, intentional, organic; just a few words to describe this property and our stay at the Tiny House. It felt so refreshing to get away and enjoy the peacefulness of this place. We sincerely LOVED our stay here, I wish we could have stayed longer. The Tiny House was furnished with bed sheets and blankets, a quick use propane heater to get the chill out. The clubhouse was clean and tidy, we enjoyed looking at all the decor. The fridge had many different drink options to choose from. They truly put so much love and thought into this place, the hospitality is/was unforgettable! The chickens were fun to watch as they followed us along the fence line as we walked by.

Secluded Tent Camping For Two!
My 10-year old son and I loved tent camping on Whitney and Jered’s property. It’s obvious how much love and care has gone into their home and the surrounding land, and we feel really lucky that they shared it with us. Their welcome was warm, and all of the instructions and signage was really clear and helpful. This property is within the entrance to Chain O Lakes SP and was a peaceful, private alternative to the main campground. The tent camping site is really generous, and even includes a short path to a cozy bench that offers a great opportunity to stargaze on a clear night. The bathroom and clubhouse are clean and well appointed, including a small kitchen with all the necessities. We would love to visit again!

Whitney and Jared poour their hearts into this property! Clubhouse has amazing amenities! Great conversations around the firepit. Location across from the entrance to. Chain O Lakes makes for easy hiking! We will return each spring!

This is a fun space for two people to enjoy a night or weekend away! The bus was a bit warm upon arrival, but soon cooled off once we opened the bus windows. We did encounter some bugs in the bus upon arrival; however, we were able to swat them out of the bus using the provided fly swatters (just a heads up in case this is a concern for some guests). The bed was super comfortable, and the space was well decorated! Loved the grounds & chicken coop across the way. I recommend!

We spent a night in the tiny home last year and loved it, so we had to check out the bus! Great night camping with everything you need at your fingertips. Very responsive host. Great environment!

My wife and I stayed at the converted school bus site. This was probably the nicest campsite I have ever been to. The owners put a lot of thought and work into building this place. They have paths that are lined with wood logs and solar lights. The clubhouse had water and snacks you could buy. If you forgot firewood, they even had some you could purchase at the campsite. It was very quiet and pretty secluded. We will definitely go back.

The property was absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. Whitney and Jared were friendly and since I got there just as the sun was setting, I was glad they came out to explain where everything was. Bus and Clubhouse were both super comfy. The chickens and geese were the sweetest welcome committee as I walked by to the campsite. Highly recommend. I will certainly be back.

I loved staying in the converted bus! It was amazing to lie in bed and gaze out the windows at the stars and moon. The chicken coop is nearby and it was soothing to listen to the chickens cluck at each other - they sound like little old ladies at a tea party. There was a another spot for other hipcampers a little ways away from us but we couldn't see them and never heard a peep.
I have to say this place is amazing! It was my first Hipcamp and I think they spoiled me for all the other sites! All their sites are primitive but they do let campers use the lower floor of their house "The Clubhouse" to grab coffee, a shower, or use the bathroom.
I highly recommend them!

This property is amazing! We had so much fun exploring the trails, especially in the evening as all the twinkle lights came on. The site was perfect for us with our young kiddos. The campsite was well defined giving them a firm boundary of where they could explore. It was so nice being able to relax a bit and not be constantly worried that they’d wandered off or were disturbing others. It was a perfect mix of primitive camping with a touch of luxury…. Being able to rinse off with indoor plumbing before sleeping under the stars? Perfection 😍

It is a wonderful place to stay and a great location! We had the campgrounds to ourselves and the accommodations where amazing. The clubhouse space was great with the bathroom and shower. We were very close to the Chain O’ Lakes state park and it was easy to go explore there too.
