On the Weiser under the Water Tower

We are on the Weiser River, walking distance from the Country Coffee Cabin Cafe on Highway 95. The Weiser River Trail, the Post Office, Library and local Mercantile in the Village of Midvale (Pop. 200) are all only a short walk. We are located beneath the old iconic Midvale Water Tower. There is a spot a short distance from us where the public launches boats into the Weiser River. The RV hookup is next to a small fenced fruit orchard/garden -- to keep the deer out. You will have a 30 AMP Hookup and water -- no dump. The dump site is 8 miles away at the fairground in Cambridge, ID. Every year on Memorial Day weekend, the annual Weiser River Wagon Train and Ride passes through Midvale, camping overnight with their horses and wagons in Midvale's Park. Also, in April there "may" be a cattle drive right through the Main Street of town, only a block away. In July there is a Fourth of July parade in town. Small town living at its best, quiet and restful -- a good place to stop overnight or stay awhile. This site is situated in the small village of Midvale, Idaho (pop. 200). There is a level site on gravel for parking 5th-wheel or RV. Access via circular drive. There is a field where you can walk your dog. It is next to the Weiser River. Guests must control their animals and pick up after them. We are in the City next to the Volunteer Fire House/Ambulance. There are children in the neighborhood, so not always super quiet. We are near the Library, Post Office, Slim's Tavern and the local grocery store, The Mercantile. The Country Coffee Cabin, local eating establishment is only a block away. Midvale's Park is nearby, as is access to the Weiser River Trail, an 84 mile trail for horses, walking and biking (no motorized vehicles). There are bulletin boards in the Library and the Mercantile that will tell you about all that's going on. Plus, the Weiser River Trail has an information board as you come into town.
