Absolutely loved this spot. Plenty of room. Close to town. Amazing outdoor shower. And although the tent is still under a little construction it’s the perfect little shelter. Would 100% stay here again!

I would recommend staying here! Katie and Zak's property is beautiful. Tucked away from the road, spacious and very quiet. There are string lights hung around the site which is super cute and a very clean porta potty. We stayed here before their glamping set up was complete, but we got to enjoy some of the amenities like the drinking water, picnic table and campfire. Easy access to Volcanoes National Park, and there are a few options for places to eat nearby.

Volcano Village Campsite
Camping on Katie and Zak's land was the best night sleep we had. The air was cool, the bed was soft, the birds sang amazingly, and the surrounding landscape is lush and green. Having quick and easy access to the park made for perfect volcano adventures. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend booking with them!

Legit camping spot with extra bonuses. Very new looking, beautiful spacious canvas tent… with power! Lights throughout the tent and in the front lanai entrance area. It was so nice to glamp in this tent. Family enjoyed it very much.
It is cold this time of year, plan accordingly as it was very chilly! Lovely sounds from birds in the forest nearby, other than that it was so quiet and peaceful.

Volcano Village Campsite
This was a fantastic spot to post up while we adventured trails around the park. It was colder than we had gear for so we were grateful for the walled and elevated tent. The clean port a potty was a huge perk, and we enjoyed the campfire, stars galore, and beautiful birds that we don’t often hear on the other side of the island.

Katie was extremely welcoming and kind and sent me clear directions on how to get to the campsite. The campsite was even better than the pictures! It was clean and quiet and quaint, I highly recommend staying especially if you want to be close to Volcano National Park!

I can’t say enough great things about the campsite and the surrounding area. Katie and Zak were easy to communicate with and gave great directions, and the property is basically in Volcano Village, a couple miles from the national park. The birds! It was quiet, and we enjoyed listening to the birds singing among the pine trees and native foliage. They have a porta potty as the restroom, but it was very clean. With a store just down the road, it was easy to get food, water, and snacks. We ate at the park for dinner/sunset and returned to camp quickly. As for the surrounding area, we were minutes from the winery, golf course, and various restaurants. Everyone was so friendly in Volcano, and we can’t wait to come back and camp at Katie and Zak’s! They mentioned they will have a wall tent soon, which we are so excited to stay in next time.

Katie and Zak have such a welcoming set up! Katie sent me great directions and was available when we were looking for the site so we could ask if we had questions. The outhouse was clean and had plenty of toilet paper. We didn’t end up making a fire because we were so tired after playing every day, but the wood was available and a lighter in case we didn’t bring one. It is so close to the national park. I would absolutely camp here again!

We live in Hilo & enjoyed a nice change of scenery up there @ 4,000 ft., @ the private campsite with tall trees & different sounding birds. The campfire with provided chairs was so relaxing. Our doggie was happy to come along & we had the place to ourselves. This time we just tried a 1 night camp, but the price is good & we're already thinking about a two night stay next time, or bringing more friends, because we can have up to 6 people for the same price.
