I love that we got to pick our own spot to tent camp, the hosts brought us our fire pit and wood once we chose our spot. They warned us that there would be a good amount of people at the Bistro because it was Valentine's Day weekend. However, I did not expect the loud music blasting at 11pm. It woke me up from a sound sleep like a fever dream from my clubbing days. This was the only down side and it was very peaceful other than that, but it won't stop me from returning with ear plugs for next time.

It’s a nice place. It’s big. It was empty mostly for us but could see it being a little crazy crowded or if you are there when someone has an event. Generally quiet for us. Road in was a little sloppy after a heavy rain. Could see cars struggling with that a bit. But nice oaks, big space. The water had a strong sulphur smell so we opted out of drinking it. Okefenokee nearby is incredible. And if you eat in town Thai Smile was AMAZING…

Loved the great view of the night sky while grabbing a quick overnighter here on our way through for HangCon. Will definitely stay here again while passing through. Great bathrooms too!

This property was HUGE & well maintained!! Pet-friendly, peaceful, cabins + RV hookups + tent sites, clean his & her bathrooms with hot showers, campfire spots, and the most beautiful starry night sky! I felt safe, relaxed, and welcomed! Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing! I’m going to find a way to help them with their “hunters leaving starving dog behind,” problem. The host was so kind and helpful. I will definitely be booking again. The views were amazing and I appreciated how much space my dogs and I had to roam around. Thank you so much for providing such a great space for people like me to decompress.

Beautiful and quiet. Hosts were great. Good options for tent sites in a grassy field or under the oak trees. We stayed in the grassy field since it had been raining and we wanted to avoid the sand and mud. Only there for 1 night but it was perfect for us. Would definitely go back.

It is a big campground (50+ acres) with a small campground feel. It wasn't crowded when we were there and it was very quiet and beautiful. Good options for tent sites in a grassy field or under big oak trees. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

I loved this place as back a couple of miles from the main road, one of the quietest places I’ve stayed at. Lots of space for large venues. Nothing going on while I was there which was nice. Would definitely come back.

Very nice space! Large enough to make you feel like you have privacy on a super cute piece of land tucked far off the road. Love the fact there are toilets, power options, & water. We booked a tent electric space but ended up in an rv space by mistake… but were happy for the mix up as we had access to a water spigot. We had no idea they were hosting a football game watch that night, or having live music, but even still it wasn’t too loud so we weren’t bothered by it. Would recommend for a quick, convenient getaway.

We will absolutely be back with our family to camp here. It's secluded and beautiful. Our kids had such an amazing time exploring the campgrounds and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The hosts are very hospitable and the campgrounds were clean and just beautiful.

Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Met Jessica and a couple of ladies from the restaurant, could not have asked for nicer people. The grounds were very nice. RVs were separated from regular campers which I loved. I was under some oaks all by myself. Ate at the restaurant and it was really good. They were having karaoke that night but I was to tired to go. I couldn't hear it from my van though. Slept well. Thanks ladies, all of you for making me feel welcome

Jessica is one of the most responsive and clear communicating HipCamp hosts I’ve worked with. All our interactions were respectful and very helpful to me as a camper. I will also note that finding the place is easy. The property is beautiful and there are lots of options about where to pitch your tent. What really made this place spectacular for me was the stary skies. WOAH! No light pollution at all. My first night I sat out and star gazed until nearly 1AM! I will be back.

Easy to find even in the dark. The last 2 miles was an active logging road. The crews were scraping the road after heavy rains the day before. Do bring bug spray, we were bombarded by the biggest horse flies I have ever seen.

Hartley Oaks was beautiful and quiet (great stargazing), but communication was an opportunity area. We received no instructions for where to go when we arrived, no map for where to find everything at the campground, amenities were pretty limited and the water smelled like sulfur for the majority of our trip. We booked a site with full hookups, but in fact, it only had electric and water, not septic. So, it was nice having a quiet site, but there were a few tweaks in communication (on listing, signage on property and in proactive communication before arrival) that could have been helpful.

This is a gorgeous place! So much space and the tree line is beautiful. Kaitlyn was very friendly, although we didn’t meet her in person, all our questions were answered promptly. Stargazing here is a thing!

The grounds are lovely. The dirt road to get to the camp site was very bumpy and there were clouds of dust. Kaitlyn was a very kind and considerate host. She explained they had recently purchased the property and were busy with some updates.
