Creekside Overlook
We loved our over night stay and plan to come back! Beautiful property and nice and quiet, especially since we were the only campers there. We planned to go to High Falls but ended up just staying on the property exploring the creek and the kids had a blast. This wasn't an issue for us since we had a truck, but a small/low clearance car might have a tough time on the trail leading to the campsite.

We loved camping on Nicole's land and the area was very private and secure. There was some noise from the neighbors and an ATV rider but nothing that distracted us from enjoying ourselves immensely in the woods.

Great place to spend a weekend! There is a mud hole near the front before any of the sites that 4Wd is required to get through. The creek makes the perfect backdrop to spend a weekend

Absolutely amazing property! Like said in description... high clearance 4x4 is a must if going back to caylees cove and old homestead. Trail can be difficult if wet. Amazing creekside camp and super peaceful property.

It feels very secluded and is very peaceful. We had a very good time. But if you have trouble walking the trail isn't super accessible when muddy, so keep that in mind.

Place is a great close get away to camp. campsites are spread well apart for privacy will definitely be back soon. And hey it's camping no power no water no cell phones it's Great..

Camped at Creekside Overlook since we weren’t in a 4WD. There was a brand new tent platform extending out towards the creek that worked perfectly for our large “4 person” tent. Without it there probably wouldn’t have been a large enough flat spot. There was plenty of downed wood for fires. It is clear they are working on improving the property for camping. Overall the property was very nice and the sites are spread out so that you can’t see the others, but as you drive in you can see the sites you pass. In our case no one else was on the property. While we really liked the Overlook site, the Cove site is super nice and right by the creek but the rock ledges at the creek crossing really require high clearance. You may be able to park near the crossing and walk the 100 yards or so to the Cove site. There was some dog and donkey noise from the neighbors and a little road noise from the state road not too far away, but not enough to take away from the enjoyment. The trickling and splashing sounds from the creek were more prominent.

Great place. Beautiful land but very primative. Underdeveloped because they are still working on it. Very rustic. Need a 4 wheel drive to get to sites. Great people very accommodating.

I loved it. The directions were clear and gate easy to access. Upon entering, the site was clean and quiet. Well, a barking dog from a nearby property but it wasn't all night thankfully. The trails were clearly marked and had solar led lights to help if you arrive after dark. The creek was nice to listen to in the distance. It was only me and two dogs and they stayed off leash the whole time. Some hunters in the distance and it was expected due to the time of year. I'd return in the future! Thanks Nichole!

Carlyle's Cove
What a wonderful property tucked away just away from town! Not too far but not too close! Very quiet, peaceful creek. We will be back! The campsite is a tad small so don’t plan on bringing a 10 person tent! We love it and we were able to spend the evening chillin by the fire. Thank you so much!

Really enjoyed my stay. Very remote. Had to use 4wd to cross the creek to get to my campsite but there were a few that you don’t have to cross the creek for. I really like how the forest is untouched and the creek is so close to the tent site. I slept like a baby.

Det need 4WD when camping here. Rain made for soggy ground almost couldn't leave. BUT the land and the creek were beautiful. Minus the neighbors being loud at certain points the property was really nice.
