Nice, quiet spot. The road to access the site was a bit tricky (we had just had a bit of rain) but we made it fine.

Having a bathroom and shower on site was really beneficial, and the creek provided soothing sounds to sleep to at night. We definitely benefited from having a high clearance, 4WD vehicle, as the trail to the site was muddy from the recent rain or rutted out in spots, but that just made it more fun to get to. We would definitely consider this location again if we’re in the area.

It is very private. Very hospitable. Extra wood there, 5 gallons of water were at the camp site, extra supplies that are nice to have in the bathroom. Shower is heated by propane tank. No electric. There’s a nice picnic table and fire pit plus a Weber charcoal grill with utensils.
Creek is right next camp site, you can see it. Definitely need an SUV to get back there. Be cautious if it rains. At the campsite water puddled when raining but quickly went away.
When entering the campsite the main trail is on the left and you can wonder around in the low growth on the right.

Everything was thoroughly explained, we had no issues finding the campsite. A huge plus was the outhouse and listening to the running water down in the creek. A beautiful hideaway not to far away from home for us, we will definitely be coming back!

I had an awesome time.. location was amazing, did some hiking on the trails and walked up and down the creek. I'm definitely gonna be coming back and staying again in the future. Also having a bath house with a hot shower was a huge plus... lol.
I would definitely recommend anyone to come stay at Julie's camp spot. Thank you Julie for being a great host!

The property is so beautiful, and we got so lucky with weather. We had clean drinking water on the site, and it was very private. We will be back for sure!

Great site…very unique. I will definitely be back. The bathroom is a fantastic feature. Fire ring is right by the creek. Site is super nice / level for tent camping.

Very thoughtful layout. Great amenities while still feeling like you’re roughing it. Definitely agree with owner’s disclaimer to bring a taller vehicle in getting to the campsite. Would definitely go back again!

Hidden Creek at Pea Ridge was a great tent camping location. Secluded but with everything needed for a great experience in nature. Julie made sure we had everything we needed upon arrival. Even with weather that was not the best, we still had an excellent time!

After a long day cycling Pea Ridge was a welcome reprieve. Having drinking water, shower and fire wood all there waiting on us made it easy to set up and get some rest without having to pack a lot in. The bathhouse was clean and provided us a dry place to store away gear and our bikes out of the rain. The simple accommodations make it a luxurious experience if you’re used to camping in the bush. I loved pea ridge and will defiantly come back when I’m in the area.

Julie’s campsite was beautiful, quiet, private and just plain awesome. Julie went to great lengths to make the guest feel very welcome which is quite a feat at a campsite. The warm shower and bathroom facilities made it especially nice. Julie was also kind enough to provide firewood which proved to be quite essential since it got down into the mid 30s to low 40s in the evening. I highly recommend Julie’s campsite for anyone who wants to get completely away from everything and everybody!

I loved the Pea Ridge! Honestly one of my favorites camp spots as it was relaxing, peaceful and allowed me to not have to worry about much. There was a bathhouse with a shower and a compost toilet. I wasn’t able to use the shower but I’m sure it was convenient. I only stay for half a day but I’m sure if I stayed a whole week I’d be super comfortable. Julie’s site was great!

Great spot - super private, but easy enough to access. Nice to have the bathroom, shower and water! Trails were in great condition and forest was beautiful. Our boys had a great time exploring and catching critters.

I had a great time camping with my boyfriend here. The bathhouse was clean and so convenient, Julie left fresh eggs for us to enjoy, and overall the site was pleasant and private. 100% recommend

This is my favorite Hipcamp so far. Very private. Extremely picturesque. It’s like something right out of a YouTube daydream. Highly recommended for families and romantic getaways. If you’re visiting the Guidestones and need an inexpensive spot to stay and enjoy the GA country, this is it. The hosts are super friendly and thought of everything.

I LOVED car/tent camping on Julie and Jeremy’s site! It is such a special place! Normally a State Park camper, and relatively new to solo camping, I’ve wanted to try something more private and secluded but not sure if ready for real dispersed camping.
Well this spot was beyond perfect! Truly the best of both worlds— a (private!) bathhouse, fresh drinking water supplied, and the bonus availability of farm fresh eggs and firewood AND honest peace and quiet solitude — not hearing or seeing another soul! Just magical.
The site itself is beautiful. Tons of shade, the running creek and nothing but the beauty of nature surrounding all. I hated leaving! But I will definitely return

We loved this campsite! It was a beautiful wooded area with plenty of space to roam. The creek was big with plenty of spots for the kids to play. The pictures don’t do it justice. And Julie was a great host and has gone to a lot of effort to make it comfortable. She was also very communicative. Loved the clean bathhouse. We did run out of well water, but Julie had left a 5-gallon cooler so we had plenty of water. We also had plenty of firewood at the site. This was our first booking on Hipcamp and we will def come here again!

Julie's camping spot and surrounding land is really awesome. A nice creek nearby, beautiful bottomland hardwoods, and the toilet and hot shower just puts the icing on the cake.
Yes, the road is rough but easily passable in dry conditions with decent ground clearance. In wet weather I'd suggest 4x4. For me, the rough road is part of the experience and something I enjoy but my vehicle is also capable.
This spot is a must if you're in the area and have ground clearance to access the spot!

This spot completely exceeded our expectations! The spot was extremely spacious and the land was beautiful and absolutely peaceful. Julie was great and quick to respond to all of our texts. This was our first time using Hipcamp and we could not be more pleased with our experience. The path into the site definitely requires a vehicle with decent ground clearance. We were in a 2WD Honda Pilot and had no problems even though it rained the night before we checked in. There are some decent ruts that would have been dicey in something lower to the ground. We will definitely be back, hopefully as soon as spring! Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Perfect for our 1st Hipcamp and Car Camping experience! Loved the mix of remote/private/primitive with the comfort & convenience of the bath house and water. Having the drinking water available was great. Echo the reviewers who say 4WD is HIGHLY recommended. We drove our Subaru Outback down to the camp and back with no problem - just took it slow and were mindful of our clearance in a few spots. Visited Watson Mill Bridge State Park only 15 min drive away for hiking, picturesque views and a picnic. Julie was super responsive and helpful!

The piece of land we camped on was beautiful! From the driveway in and down to the stream, it was gorgeous! The space was larger than other pictures made it seem. Jeremy was such a wonderful host and came promptly when we had a need! We loved the free range eggs! We all enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back.

Where should I start? From the driveway to get to the camp, to the stream of water, and everything in between was just beautiful land! We feel very honored to have camped there! Jeremy is so gracious to share this beautiful piece of nature beauty with us! He was a wonderful host and went above and beyond! We are so grateful! Will definitly come back! Great site! Super beautiful site, nice trails, and a great little outhouse. The only thing we would say is that 4-wheel drive is definitely necessary!

My family and I went on our first camping trip and we had an awesome time. The host gave directions in case I lost cell service and plenty of drinking water when we arrived. It’s a nice secluded area with a creek. Our favorite part was definitely the shower and bathroom, it was so creative. There was a fire pit for cooking and a trail for hiking. Great scenery, very relaxing. It’s a good camp site for first timers, best first impression ever. I would totally recommend and will be attending again in the fall.

Julie answered all my questions before we arrived. It was a great place to stay. Definitely need 4wd to drive directly to the campsite. Very quiet and a peaceful out there. Would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to get out of the city.

This was our first HipCamp stay and it was a fantastic experience!! Loved the bath house, that firewood and fresh eggs were available for purchase, and the site itself was beautiful and remote. We'll be back!
