Learn more about this land: Welcome to Sunnyside Farm! We are excited to welcome you to our 10 acre farm where the chickens and goats roam. Come enjoy the peacefulness of nature and a night sky full of stars. About the property Our property is close to Vero Beach to the south and Melbourne to the north. We are not far outside of the town of Fellsmere where you can find some restaurants and services if needed. Our property is great for hiking, biking, local fishing, or hanging out with our farm animals. There are trails to be found less than a mile from our property but you can also head to Sebastian Preserve for hiking or over to Stick Marsh for fishing. Your hosts are onsite and we like to meet campers and just get to know them a little. Then we leave the campers alone unless they need something :) About the listing Our property has two sites that can accommodate tent camping or van/truck camping and we look forward to welcoming you. Please keep in mind that if you are brining a van or truck camper the maximum length we can accommodate is 20 ft. We do not have any hookups at this time so you will be dry camping or tent camping only. The surface of the sites is grassy and does need some leveling if you’re in a van. Some amenities you can find at our listings: -We are family friendly -There is a fire pit provided and campfires are allowed -There is a grill available onsite -There is a toilet (porta-potty) available onsite -There is a pump available for potable water -We are pet friendly  -There is a picnic table on site for lounging and meal prep -We have trash bins available -We do not have a kitchen or cooking gear available, please BYO -There is no wifi and cell reception can be limited Additional details to note While there is a fire pit please remember to bring your own firewood! We do not have a kitchen or cooking utensils but there is a grill onsite.

I absolutely enjoyed the camping space! Lots of room and very private. The scenery was stunning and the host was very welcoming. They are pet friendly as well so my dog loved the space too! Highly recommend if looking for a relaxing getaway.

Tent camping with our two dogs in November. The site had a fire pit (sand with some cinderblocks) that fit our needs; brought our own wood. Toilet was close to site, site was clean and private. Bring bug spray. Goats were cool and property dog “Pete” was nice.

Steve’s place was just what we were looking for to getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The site was nice and secluded, surrounded by nature and so peaceful ! Will definitely be camping here again .

Nice piece of property with some goats and chickens. Very private camp site 1. Great star gazing area. Fire pit, charcoal grill and wood on site. Steve was very friendly and the space felt welcoming. Due to weather we had to pack out 1 day early but we still had a great time and had a feel for the area. We did a nice loop hike at a state park that was less then 15min away

Steve and his wife are wonderful hosts! The property is beautiful. The kids and i loves our stay here. The roosters, chickens and goats just add to the experience. Our site was perfect for us. The hammock was very relaxing. I highly recommend this property if you want a out of the hustle and bustle

This was my 2nd stay on Steve’s land. The 1st time for 2 quiet nights alone. It was great. I stayed on campsite #2. This time was for a 1st camp out for my young grand daughters. We stayed on campsite # 1. It’s bigger & more private than #2. We had a great time there. The girls want to go again, soon. the night sky was tons of bright stars! The girls loved the goats & camp fire especially. It’s a great place to get away & really camp. Not glamcamp! It’s nature. Bring your own water & wood kinda camping! Oh, And citronella candles for mosquitoes. But, it is The kind of camping I personally love.

My dogs & I enjoyed a nice weekend on Steve’s land. After living in Florida for 10 months, I wanted, no needed, to camp amongst real trees! The camp site was plenty big enough to park my minivan & attach the tail veil tent, with much more space to hang out. Quiet was important to me, & there was plenty of that. I enjoyed the whole experience! I’ll be camping there again soon, next time, hopefully, with my grandkids! They’ll love their 1st camping experience & the goats & chickens will be a fun bonus for them. My Thanks to Steve & his family for their hospitality & willingness to share their land with us. I’m a very relaxed & “happy camper” now!😄

Had a wonderful time tent camping with my boyfriend for the weekend! The site was spacious and felt very private — except for the chickens and goats which were a fun farm aspect to the camp. Steve and his family were very welcoming and communicative so we will definitely be returning!

Great spot to hang for a few days. Steve was very accommodating and gr8 at communication. The property was extremely quiet, comfortable and relaxing. I would recommend to others!

We were very happy with this camp ground! We will be back and it is our favorite grounds so far that we have found. We have been looking for a home camp area and this will be it! It was very private, a field for a pups to play in, the bathroom was clean, and the farm animals were so cute!

As a local just trying to gain experience camping before going on bigger trips, Steve’s property was such a hidden gem. Not only was everything exactly as pictured / described, but they were extremely communicative & generous whenever I needed something. I was fortunate to meet his entire family & they were all lovely! The free range chickens & sweet, curious goats were just the right touch & even the outhouse was set up so well compared to most camping options. I would come back in a heartbeat, and plan to do so! My dog loved roaming around, and we barely even encountered the other campers who’s stay overlapped ours!

Really nice place to camp. Cute small farm, with chickens, roosters, and goats. I camped with a small tent and had a really nice relaxing time there, love sitting by the fire chilling. . Fishing near by also. Steve is a great guy and very friendly. Highly recommend this place for anyone that wants to get away from the city and camp in a nice safe area.

Steve’s land is absolutely beautiful and exactly how it looks like in the pics. I went with my dog to stay and very sadly had to cut my trip short due to an emergency back in Miami, but I will certainly be coming back. This was precisely the type of camping spot I needed. The farm animals are just the cherry on top. Thank you Steve and family for welcoming myself and my dog, we will surely be back.

Wonder place to visit and get away. Just the right amount of shade for me and enough sun for my solar. Porta John was nice as well. Highly recommend will visit again.

I would definitely stay here again. Steve was in contact with me and kept me posted until my arrival when he met me and showed me around. It’s a lovely property and very private. It was especially fun to meet the chickens and the goats.

The Sunnyside Farm was a great getaway. The sites are spacious, and they had spare firewood to use right next to the fire pit. The site us equipped with an outhouse, pump for portable water, and animals (chickens, goats, and Pete) for your amusement. Stars were great. I will return.

This was a wonderful piece of land to park on. I was impressed by how well maintained they made their campsites, paying special attention to detail. The starry night with a roaring campfire were definitely highlights 😁. Even the outhouse situation was much better than the last place I stayed at. Instead of being forever traumatized by a hole in the floor with a terrifying site to behold, they had a clean toilet with baggies to do your business in and toss away. Be mindful that you are staying next to goats and chickens. Although this is awesome, I was not prepared to hear the rooster’s territorial crows in the middle of the night. I kind of wish they kept the campsites separated from the coop but it is a great way to get a feel for farm life for those wanting one of their own! Being only 20-25 minutes from the ocean was a major draw, especially since the traffic getting there was very light even on weekends. I would definitely stay there again if my travels take me near Vero Beach again, too notch!
