Welcome to Rest Nest, our peaceful retreat space on a 40-acre working farm in Umatilla, FL. Whether you're pitching a tent or parking your camper, you'll have a quiet, tucked-away spot surrounded by trees, fresh air, and open skies—just you, the birds, and the stars. Our land is a mix of wild woods and cultivated gardens. We’re growing food and community with a focus on soil regeneration, native planting, and creating safe habitat for wildlife-and space for humans to rewild. You might spot monarchs in the pollinator beds, hear owls in the pine canopy, or get a giggle at our chickens free-ranging. We're a family homestead, and you'll likely see signs of everyday farm life—children playing, garden beds in progress, and seasonal projects around the land. Rest Nest is designed to be a slow, intentional space that supports both rest and reconnection—with yourself, with the Earth, and with the rhythms of simple living. Guests are welcome to walk our nature paths, explore native plantings, or simply connect and recharge by a small camp fire. Looking to unwind even more? You can book a session in our outdoor infrared sauna or cold plunge—simple ways to soothe your body and support your well-being while you’re here. We’re just minutes from Alexander Springs, Juniper Springs, and the Ocala National Forest, and a short drive to Mount Dora, Ormond Beach, and even Orlando for a day trip. Local gems like Sunsational Country Store and Atwood’s U-pick Farm are just up the road if you want to explore nearby. You'll likely see us around the farm, and we're always happy to lend a hand or say hello if you’d like company. That said, we’re also mindful of your space and will let you enjoy the peace and quiet unless you reach out. We ask that guests respect the natural rhythm of this space—quiet evenings, mindful fires, and leaving no trace are all part of what keeps Rest Nest nourishing for everyone who visits. Come root in, breathe deep, and let the land work its quiet magic.

Take a day to slow down, breathe deep, and reconnect with your body and the land. This day-use experience invites you to enjoy our nature walking paths and outdoor infrared sauna and cold plunge tub—a wellness practice rooted in balance, regulation, and deep restoration. You’ll have access to: A private wellness space with sauna + cold plunge A shaded rest area to lounge, read, or reflect Forest paths and native garden views Whether you're looking for recovery, renewal, or just a quiet pocket of stillness, this experience is meant to support you in dropping out of the noise and into your breath. This is a day-use listing only (no overnight stay). Available in 1-hour blocks, with flexible start times between 9am and 7pm. Potable water is available on-site. Towels are available to use. Rooted in our regenerative homestead, Rest Nest is a family-run space. You may hear kids at play, see chickens, or catch the scent of something good growing in the garden. Please note: Quiet, respectful energy is appreciated. This is a slow-living space—come as you are, and leave a little more grounded than you came. This is not an overnight stay, but a wellness day-use reservation.

This spot is right off the main farm area, easy access to campsite, bench and fire pit already established. This site does get some wind, due to being on the south end of the property with little wind protection.

Welcome to our Farm
The host was absolutely amazing and the property was beautiful and peaceful!! My husband and I booked another site that was not as advertised (we immediately left due to not feeling safe) and the wonderful host at Courtney's Land saved the day and was very quick to accept our reservation (with a very short notice) and saved our weekend! The host was so pleasant and easy to communicate with. The property was easy to find. This site is perfect for primative camping with plenty of room to explore. They have little peaceful trails around the property that were fun to explore. We will defiantly visit again!
