We really enjoyed our stay at Dan's place. For us, it was a place where we could relax for a few days and get projects done around the house. Dan is personable, friendly, helpful, and considerate, touching base but allowing us our privacy. When the payment platform had issues, he was willing to extend our stay until I could get it worked out. The spot was flat, sandy but with grass, with beautiful old trees, and of course, his little farm. There is traffic noise but we are accustomed to that. Excellent spot to see a full moon! Very cozy and close to Brooksville, which has everything you need. We did Weeki Watchee and loved the little thrift store next door.

I really enjoyed the view on Dans property we lived the scenery and horses. A very tranquil area but close to many amenities and weeki watchi. Dan himself was courteous and helpful.

A welcoming and compassionate host. I was only able to stay for one evening due to the heat wave, and he offered the refund without issue. His Donkey and 2 Horses were adorable also! ;)

We had a good time camping on Dan's land. We felt safe and pup was happy exploring our little area. The animals were nice too. A coffee shop and gas station in walking distance. Would recommend. Thank you.

We enjoyed meeting Dan, Very friendly and accommodating. Loved that it was soooo peaceful and quiet just what we needed . We were able to walk to a nearby thrift store . Truly enjoyed being able to feed Jenko Dusty and Chief What a highlight for us . We hope to come back in the near future

We really enjoyed our stay! Private, peaceful, and close to town and many biking and hiking trails. The owners helped to ensure we were set up and let us know if we needed anything to reach out. After that, the area was ours to enjoy for the week.

Dan's Land was perfect lil way to save some money and be In a safe area. Its close to shopping as well! Our girls had a blast feeding the Donkey and horses :)
We had plenty of room and it's super quiet.
Dan and His lil son were super friendly and welcoming! We would stay again.

We loved camping at Dan’s place. Peaceful, clean and flat field easy to level. A good space with no trees, so it was easy to set up our Starlink and our solar panel. As a cherry on the top you can give apples to his horses and cute donkey :)
We’ll definitely stay here again.

Was a nice peaceful place with plenty of room. They have 2 horses and a donkey that love apples and carrots 🥕 and very friendly. Dan greeted us as we arrived very nice family. Be back soon.

Communication was excellent. Very nice and quiet spot. Grass parking area all to ourselves. They only take one camper at a time so it was nice to have the area all to ourselves. We were greeted when we arrived and Dan checked with us after we left to make sure everything went well. Great spot to stop if you are heading north out of Tampa or if you are looking to stay in the Nature Coast. Also they have horses!

What a great, relaxing stay! The owners were amazingly friendly and we had a nice, quiet evening watching the horses and donkey. A very quiet location with easy access for any size camper.

Dan contacted us after the booking was confirmed , soon after he gave us directions. There was plenty of room and there was four , four legged friends to meet us there. Soon after arriving he met us there. We felt welcomed and extended our stay. I will return.

Great place to stay! Very easy to find, accessible road, flat grassy ground, beautiful horses across the field. Great location between three sisters springs and Tampa area. Dan is an incredible host and recommended a delicious, classic breakfast diner and a brewery with mermaid cans just down the road... 10/10

Here is the place that sums up what is a great hipcamp location! Great hosts, plenty of space, "bonus feature" - horses & a donkey in this case - close to everything you need and ease of access. I would also add that the spot where we parked our RV at Red Wolf Ranch was perfectly levelled! This is a big plus when you're travelling with a big rig. This place will definitely be a "regular" when in central Florida.
