Erin and her husband were so nice! They were very accommodating and the site was perfect for my family and I this past weekend. We are already planning our next trip! Gorgeous skies, the firepit was perfect, the kayaks were great. We had a blast, made some wonderful memories. Our dogs were in heaven. :) Thank you guys so much!!!!

This is a great property with plenty of space to roam! We stayed the weekend with our 3 dogs, they loved the freedom and enjoyed being let loose.
The longhorn cows are amazing too!
We took a tour of the Back 40 farm, seen a lot of animals, and the amazing venue for special events!
We used the onsite kayaks and took a couple hours to paddle up the Rainbow River, which I believe is some of the most pristine water in the state of Florida!
We enjoyed our stay and will be back on the future!

My fiancé and I (plus friends) loved this site!!! Erin is so sweet! We loved feeding the longhorns and the spring we went to (rainbow river) was super close! 10/10 experience. We will definitely be back!!

We had a very pleasant stay.
Nice and quiet.
We picked this hip camp for cycling the withlacoochee bike trail which was easily accessible from our campsite about 10 minute drive.
Suggest the owner
remove some standing dead trees near the campsites.

We loved camping at Lazy Longhorn! Our kiddos loved the tour of the farm, and there was plenty of room for them to explore and run around. The swings were a huge hit, and it was quiet and felt very safe. We’d definitely camp here again in the future!

We brought our travel trailer and our friends used a tent, the property is super beautiful and very peaceful. It's tucked put of the way of everything but yet so close to the rainbow river and great restaurants. Truly a little spot of peace and tranquility. Highly recommend! Erin and her husband are also super kind and very very welcoming.

My first time using HipCamp and hit the jackpot the first time. Erin and her husband were the perfect host. Quiet campsite with fire pit area and laundry on-site. Loved the Longhorns. Nicely situated near Rainbow Springs State Park and Crystal River.

UNFORTUNALLY.... Erin had to work during our stay, BUT, husband Shane was there for us and what a great person. Sat and talked with us and learned about the property.
Nice and quiet longhorns only mooed right before feeding time, all other times, quite as church mice.
Swampies and Blue Gator restaurant must places to eat.
We would stay again.

Amazing time at the Back 40 Long Horn Ranch! The hosts were so friendly and gracious with their time and property. This is a picture perfect spot to camp. The complimentary kayaks were perfect to hit Rainbow Springs with.
We used both spots. One was a 35 foot fifth wheel and the other a 23 foot travel trailer. More than enough space to get around. All hooks worked as advertised.

This place is beautiful! The longhorns are amazing to wake up too and look at from the windows of your RV. Erin and her husband welcomed us and helped us upon arrival. They were there for any question we had. The site is fully equipped / full setup and kid friendly if you have little ones. We made beautiful memories at Camp Longhorn and can’t wait to return.

Perfect quiet get away! We loved having the long horns right outside our window each morning. The space was great for having our dogs with us and traveling with friends. The hosts were amazing and helpful and the free kayak rental made it much easier than having to bring our own. I would absolutely recommend!

Erin and Shane were great host! Super responsive and accommodating. We ended up arriving pretty late but they were totally okay with it. Loved seeing the long horns next to our camper. Plenty of space for parking, we were also pulling a boat and had room to park it. We were able to utilize the kayaks on site and took recommendations from Shane about a launch not far from the location. My dog was able to run off leash. There were plenty of amenities. Overall one of the best hip camps we’ve stayed at, my only regret is that we didn’t get to stay longer.

We love camping in Erin's land! The campsite is well equiped , safe and total serenity! We love how quite and tranquil the place is and there is so much privacy. Our furbaby also enjoyed strolling the vast land unleash and had a great time watching the longhorns, cows and donkeys. The hosts Erin and Shane are very friendly, available anytime for any questions, such a perfect hosts! We love our short escapade at this camp site which is also near the beautiful crystal river and rainbow springs. The location is perfect for a quick town trip and really good nearby local restaurants. The hosts also manages the barn for any special occasions like wedding! What a total package!👌 We would definitely camp here again once we are at the area and will never hesitate to recommend to our camping friends! Thank you Erin and Shane... you're both ala grande! 😃

Erin’s campsite was a delightful escape for us. The unique experience of waking up next to two Longhorns added a special touch to our stay. Erin and her husband’s hospitality was exceptional, offering us a tour of their farm and wedding venue. Exploring their property and meeting their animals, including horses, donkeys, chickens, and of course, more Longhorns, was a highlight of our trip. Their neighborhood tour introduced us to even more fascinating wildlife. We highly recommend visiting Erin’s campsite for a memorable getaway, and we certainly plan to return in the future.

We had a great time at this hipcamp! Erin and Shane were wonderful camphosts, very kind and personable! They met us at the gate and showed us to our site and brought us eggs and ice. The property and the camping area is set up pretty cool. Tall pines site had great shade. 2 Longhorn cows are in a pasture adjacent to the campsites which was super cool!
The location was great! Super close to rivers, parks, biking and lots of great places to eat! Thank you again for a lovely weekend! Hope to see y'all in the future!

Beautiful spot with lots of space. Very attentive and welcoming hosts! We loved the cows. Two sites are very close together which wasn't a problem for us because we had the whole place to ourselves but might be cramped if both sites were booked.

I can’t say enough good about this property. It was easy to find, is close to the highway, Rainbow River/Springs, and the quaint little city of Dunnellon, FL. Just a note that both of the sites offered are right next to each other, so if you only rent one site there is the potential for someone you don’t know to be right next to you on the property. There are neighbors around the site within eye and ear shot (they were quiet), but the four-legged neighbors were the star of the show, especially for the kids. We loved getting a tour of the property & the fresh eggs were a bonus! This is a very nice family property & would 10/10 stay here again when we hopefully get a chance to come back to the area to enjoy the kayaking on the river & swimming in the springs. We loved the fire pit area, the swings, access to a laundry area, picnic tables & plenty of room to run around with the kids. Our pup loved it, too!! It was refreshing to stay on a property that we didn’t have to leash the dog & worry about her. Thank you so much for your hospitality & if you are in the area, you will love your stay here.

Erin and Shanes sites are excellent and very private for us. It was quite tranquil, The solar lit Fire Pit area was excellent in the evenings, the hook ups were clean and easy. The Long Horns visited me every day, and 2 horses from an adjacent pasture also came to visit.

Erin and Shane's Longhorn Lane was the perfect camping spot for a serene getaway. The proximity to Rainbow River and Crystal Springs was great especially the free kayaks. The highlight was definitely the farm tour, providing an immersive experience in rural life. Highly recommend for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike!

I loved seeing the cows and learning about the beautiful barn where they host weddings and celebration venues. The land was beautiful and the owners/hosts were very kind and helpful. The location is perfect with excellent spring rivers all around. Local restaurants are about five minutes away and they are fun establishments with character and good food. We slept great at night listening to owls and a distant rooster in the morning.

Lovely pastoral setting with delightful hosts (including happy longhorns, horses and chickens). They were very helpful to me as a novice camper. My greyhound joyfully ran in an enclosed field. Only 3 miles to some great restaurants, including a home-style cafe and friendly riverfront bars.
