Kokomo Farms offers a unique and tranquil camping experience, where guests are warmly welcomed by hosts Trudy and Greg. The property is praised for its scenic beauty, eclectic rescue farm atmosphere, and the presence of various friendly animals, from horses to chickens. Many guests highlight the cozy accommodations, whether staying in treehouses, tiny houses, or RVs, and appreciate the thoughtful touches, like fresh eggs and painting stations. While the farm is generally adored, some reviews note the presence of roosters and other wildlife, which might not be everyone's cup of tea.
Kokomo Farms is such a refreshing and magical escape from reality! 🌿✨ There’s so much to do and explore, and getting up close with the animals and feeding them treats is such a sweet experience. The greenhouse is beautiful, with so many plants for sale! The gentleman who welcomes you is incredibly sweet and makes you feel right at home. And of course, a special shoutout to SweetPea the parrot! 🦜💚 Such a charming, wholesome experience that everyone should get to enjoy!
I camped on 30 amp rv site which was perfect for the over night stay. The host Tudy and Greg
Respected your privacy but were available if you need anything. The farm is amazing with all the animals and artsy things around the property. The tree house was really cool if you are looking for something different than a camping cabin. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a more private and less crowded campground. 5 stars*****
The tree house is amazing, and the entire property is wonderful. I highly recommend visiting some of the local springs during the day, while your here and getting the pizza dinner!
Trudy was incredibly welcoming from the moment I arrived! The farm itself is absolutely beautiful, quiet, and surrounded by stunning nature. Watching the amazing sunset each day was a true highlight, and I loved the delicious fresh eggs. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!
Lovely stay and the hosts were so kind! We will try to visit again in the winter, to really enjoy the outdoor space this property has to offer! The tiny house was roomie and had everything we needed!
You’re close to springs but still feel off the beaten path!!
Our stay at Kokomo Farms was wonderful. The farm was lovely, the hosts were hospitable and friendly, and the animals we interacted with were great as well. If I'm in the area I will stay here again and highly recommend you do if you're in the area as well.
What a lovely escape. I stayed at Trudy and Greg’s eclectic rescue farm in the colorful tiny house accompanied by all the chickens and roosters that provide the fresh eggs for breakfast and your alarm clock in the morning. They made it very welcoming and the inside was cozy, cold a/c, a frig, and tv …with a full bathroom that I appreciated as a “glamper.”
The animals were a highlight! Shin their pup could chase a ball forever and he was a delight. Ms Calico came for dinner every night. The horses loved extra treats as well.
They try to make your experience one to remember with a painting station under the big oaks and the star gazing is something you have to do! Walk the trails at sunset and enjoy a roasted marshmallow by the evening fire.
This place was fantastic.
Our tent was right near a well-kept bathroom.
The hosts were very friendly and accommodating.
Fresh eggs in the morning!
Got to feed the horses and the chickens.
Hot tub!
Gotta go back and bring a bunch of friends.
Wonderful place to stay
The camper was so cute! Perfect for me :) it was chilly the night I stayed and I stayed nice and cozy all night. The trees on the property are amazing all in themselves! But the hosts are just as great… I noticed at night, when you walk out of the bathroom you can see the stars peeking through the trees and moss, so don’t forget to look up! The bathrooms and shower house were top notch. I would love to stay again if I am ever in the area.
It was an amazing experience. Trudy was very welcoming and we felt comfortable there. The animals were so cute! The tree house was a delight! Definitely worth another visit.
I loved our stay here! My daughter (7) and I were driving through and stayed over for the night before getting back on the road. What a great place to unwind. Our lodgings were so cute and cozy. In the evening we sat by fire and star gazed in the hammock. Some other folks were playing cards on the wrap around porch up at the house. A very welcome feel about the place. We spent the morning hanging out with the horses, feeding the chickens, wandering around the grounds, conversing with the parrot and playing games before getting on the road. Trudy was so kind. My daughter loved talking to Trudy and the other people visiting the farm.
Our stay absolutely exceeded my expectations! What a beautiful, calming, and hospitable animal sanctuary/farm experience. Every Friday and Saturday night they light a fire and had marshmallows and sticks already sitting out. There were so many small touches that made the stay just extra special for me and my 6 year old daughter. 100% will stay again!
Trudy was very accommodating in our day of booking. It was a perfect overnight stay. Kokomo Farms was whimsical and exciting to stay at with the chickens, horses, trampoline to stargaze. Trudy and Greg have thought of those little details that Mae the place extra special. Definitely check out their plants, seeds, loofahs, etc for sale while you’re there :)
We had an amazing time camping in the tree house! We are “young” empty nesters and this was a great adventure in figuring out what future adventures will look like! Trudy and Greg were so kind and super hospitable! The weather was perfect! We bought the farm fresh eggs and they had an electric griddle to cook em. We sat on the porch while it rained, reading a book with each other, sipping coffee and enjoying the beautiful of the land on the farm. My wife painted a painting in the garden to add to hundreds of others… it was cool to be a part of so many others that have been through. We pet the horses, fed the roosters, played fetch with the dogs. We drove about 15 minutes to Suwannee state park and hiked Balanced Rock Trail.
Our time at Kokomo was sacred, and for us a pivotal point into the second half of life! I know it’s a source of income for them, but it felt like they were truly sharing their land and home with us. Such a great time!
I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and unfortunately we had to cut our trip short due to an emergency back home, but boy were we sad to go. The treehouse is such a fun camping experience and our host, Greg, was so kind. He had farm fresh eggs for us every morning and even let us use some of the garlic from his garden. We woke up to his chickens greeting us every day and got to feed his horses. We were so bummed to have to leave whether it was a day short or not but we will definitely be returning to try one of the other camp houses they have available.
Kokomo Farms is so freaking wonderful! I was traveling alone and got the retro camper for one and had the most idyllic weekend, enjoying nature, underneath the live oaks. They have been so conscientious in the creation of this place and it shows everywhere. there is so much love and intention in every detail. i cannot wait to stay there again and try their other adorable lodgings :).
The details were very nice. I enjoyed a manicured site. The refreshments and activities were abundant. The shower, toilet and spa were laid out nicely and were clean. I enjoyed watching the animals be tended. I hope to return.
This was the most beautiful little farm I’ve ever seen! Don’t forget your bug spray but I absolutely loved going through the garden and the paint area. Trudy was very lovely and made sure we were set for the night.
We had a great time staying at the cozy vintage RV. My daughter loved that the welcome sign had her name written on it. The painting station was awesome and the roosters came to say hello while we painted. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful.
I loved staying in Kokomo. There were tons of rescue animals, bathrooms, showers with hot water, a fridge, grills, games, hot tub, art, and wild blackberries to eat. I got to wake up to the sounds of the animals and wildlife. There were lots of national parks around. My only regret is not being able to dive the underwater caves at Peacock Springs State Park.
My recent stay at Kokomo Farms was truly wonderful. We stayed in the open-air treehouse, which offered a very unique experience. Trudy and Gary, the hosts, were incredibly hospitable, and the farm itself left a fantastic impression.
They went above and beyond, providing board games, cards, a coffee and tea station, and even farm-fresh eggs for breakfast the next morning. We especially loved the stargazing trampoline and the blackberry patch. It was also fun seeing all the animals running around, and my wife enjoyed the painting corner. We enjoyed seeing all the hand-painted signs to see where everyone hailed from.
The only minor drawback was the presence of frogs in the outdoor (open-air) restroom, but if you're okay with that (frogs aren't my favorite!), it absolutely doesn't detract from the overall positive experience. I highly recommend Kokomo Farms for a getaway.
